I recently bought 2023 Ford F150 lightning 11/26/25. It was never used w/ very low mileage 205 miles. However, I contacted my sales Rep as starting point as directed. Truck had been sitting for years not driven, Flatting spotting on tires developed and has caused truck to flutter when driving. long term will cause bearing wear. Corporate said Bumper to bumper would not cover and Middleton as good will gestor would and should share in replacing tires or help the cost at least. Following many texts to SR sales rep Ernest has not whatsoever, I gave them case number. If they weren't going to assist me, at least they could tell me to F%^$#$ OFF... I was ready to Pay this dealership $2,000 to fix a screen that randomly stoped working in a 5 year old vehicle. Already a scam. I checked in a month after they said they ordered the parts said they'd call be back, never did. I called them many times NOT ONCE did they pick up over the course of weeks. Went back in person months later and found out THE PARTS WERE NEVER ORDERED. Asked for a discount on this already ridiculously priced repair since i waited 4 extra months. Said they'd call couldn't do anything because they didn't have any record of the multiple times I gave the go ahead and checked in. Might have something to do with the fact that they keep incorrect person info about me despite me correcting them every time I come in. There are many other ford dealerships or better yet private mechanics who deserve your business!! read more

TL:DR -- Excellent customer service here. I have a 2017 Mustang GT/CS and have done some fairly significant modifications. I brought my car to the Middleton Ford service department to get some suspension upgrades. Sean was my excellent service advisor. He helped me buy the parts I wanted (at a discount since it was through the dealership) and set up the appointment to do the work. He was very communicative and let me know the minute when my car was ready. Everything was effortless. The service department even hand-washed my car (I have it wrapped)! The car drives better as expected. I would definitely recommend taking your car here, or even buying a Ford from their dealership just to experience their service! read more

I explained to TY in the service dept. that the front breaks on my 2013 F-150 need to be replaced. Ty told me that they have 25 appointments to do first and that I needed to leave the truck with them. He said they may not get to it today. I decided to leave and I called another dealership. That dealership told me that they could do my breaks at The quick lube center. So, out of curiosity I walked into the empty quick lube center at Middleton ford. Sure enough the manager told me they could change my breaks right away with no one in line in front of me. Of course I went to kaiser ford since they are the ones that told me about the quick lube center doing breaks. Why didn't Ty tell me that I could get my issue fixed at the quick lube center?... I think it just shows that he, and his peers don't care. (They had no customers in front of them when I arrived or even still when I left) I let Ty's manager know, and he apologized but also still let me walk out to the other dealer. Ty and his peers were just chatting and joking around as I left. I made sure to teach ty and let him know that he could have helped me had he simply suggested I get my brakes fixed 20 feet away at the still empty quick lube center. All he said was "ok". No concern. And no apology. His peers all heard my issue and none of them suggested the quick lube center to me. THIS DEALERSHIP DOES NOT TREAT EACH GUEST AS A VALUED CUSTOMER. ITS NUMBERS. Well, I went here to get my transmission looked at while it was still under factory warranty. It didn't seem to shift correctly from 1st to 2nd. Since I couldn't be more specific than that, I was told that "Ford doesn't like us fishing around for problems". Huh?? I'm guessing he forgot to add "....while your still under warranty and the repair wouldn't cost you anything". The service advisor completely dismissed my concern and seems to hurry me right out the door. I drove across town to come to this dealership because of its high praise. What a waste of time and gas. Not only will I never return for any kind of repair, I would never purchase a car from them either. Nic needs to find a job that better suits him. He did not make me feel valued or welcome. This is a review of the SALES department. I have bought many cars in my life, but never have I had as excellent service as I've had at Middleton Ford. Corey was absolutely amazing to work with. I ordered the 2021 Mustang Mach-E online, and had to wait forever to get it. Trough out the wait Corey and his team were on top of things and kept me in the loop as soon as they had news. (Ford itself did a horribble job of communicating. Switching to EV online sales is a steep learning curve for a traditional car company I know). I got to test drive their Mach-E demo and was even able to test it with a super-charger. Actually buying the car was super easy, documents were ready to be signed when we arrived, and Stacey in finance was knowledgeable of the x-plan and the new Ford Option plan specifically available for the Mach-E. All in all it felt like working with family. I'd definitely go back and buy a car here again. read more

Liars! Classic bait & switch. Ordered a plug-in hybrid Escape on 11/25/22. We were told it would be delivered in March/early April, and that we would get updates every 45 days no matter what. We didn't get updates. I would have to call, and my salesman would call me back about 1/2 the time. Then, when it was May, I got a call from them (on 5/12/23) saying they had one arrive that someone else backed out of. He said it was the package we wanted, only a different color. We decided to take it. When sitting down to buy it, the price was now $41995 instead of the $39995 that we were promised IN WRITING! It's funny how they didn't mention that on the phone! When I pushed the issue, they said "no, no that $39995 price was for the one YOU ordered. THIS one costs the price promised to the customer who backed out (even though it was the same package!). Ok, so let me get this right, a car ordered BEFORE mine cost more?! So I said, "If I were to wait for the one I ordered, then I would get the $39995 price"? Yes, they answered. So, they originally said I'd get the car in March or April. It was May, and after asking me to compromise on the color, they UPCHARGED me?! Also, they tacked on a service fee ($299), just for my trouble. You would think, in good faith, (aside from keeping their word), they would honor the original price. When we bought a Hyundai Tucson from Zimbrick, there was an error on the car we ordered. The full package version came in rather than the basic one we ordered. If you are looking for terrible customer service and like to pay double what another dealer service center will charge... you've found the right place. Took my Chrysler 200 in the other day to get the driver's side headlight bulb replaced. Yikes... Ford should be ashamed to have its name on this place. So there were two key concerns here. 1) They quoted me over $200 to replace my headlight bulb... just the bulb people. 2) The method by which they were going to replace it was more complicated than what the service manual stated to do in order to access the bulb. With the first issue... I understand that auto repair is not cheap, that there is a markup on parts and that the company needs to make enough overhead in order to turn a reasonable profit. However, there is a difference between profit and pure greed. The bulb was marked up 200% from normal retail price. Add in the fact that they buy at wholesale and that is quite the profit margin on just a bulb. Apparently they are doing the same mark up on their labor costs because I took my car into the dealership down the way the next day and they were going to be able to do it for $100. Number 2. The second dealership even told me this didn't seem right... Middleton Ford claimed they had to take the entire bumper off my car in order to replace my headlight bulb. When they called to inform me of this, I think I caught Kyle (who really needs a course in customer service) off guard when I had told him that the service manual gave different instructions on accessing the bulb and that I had done it myself previously. His answer was just that their top mechanic was looking at it. Apparently it never dawned on him that may be he should go tell that to the mechanic and save the poor guy some hard work letting him know that the air cleaner filter cover just had to be removed and integrated power module pushed aside in order to access the bulb. Or just ask the mechanic to speak with me quick and save us both some time and make the company some money. I probably would've paid $100.... But I guess in reality I should be thanking Middleton Ford for their poorly run business and ridiculous pricing as it ended up saving me $200 because I then decided I would just do it myself to prove a point. $15 and 16 minutes later... headlight was good as new. read more

I am so glad I didn't fall for their utterly despicable tactics. Middleton Ford is double thumbs DOWN. Negative stars if I could give them! Apart from the TOTAL LACK of professionalism, I felt like sexism was a part of this event. It was obvious in ways, subtle in other ways. It was a rotten experience and I hope Middleton Ford can hire better in the future. I have to add, it is VERY UNNERVING that an establishment in 2017 thinks they can act this way, especially when they're taking my information such as email and driver's license copy. Thank goodness they didn't have my ssn or I would be even more anxious about this review. I hope no issues spring up because of this review.. Although the first email response to my interest in a car there was within a day or two, the rest of my experience at Middleton Ford was SUB PAR. Follow-up phone calls and emails were brief, which might have been ok, but I had to ask the same questions multiple times because they weren't addressed with a straightforward answer, ESPECIALLY after my initial visit. I emailed questions before deciding on test driving again. It took a while for a response, and my questions were not even specifically answered. I got VAGUE AND SHORT RESPONSES. When I had the chance, I returned to test drive a couple different makes and models based on previous research, hoping to purchase that day. During test drives, not only was I interrupted 90% of the time I had a question, I was answered in a way that dismissed my questions. I was even told once that my information about transmissions (from multiple, credible resources) was false and I should just ignore it. (They couldn't answer the question). I decided on a vehicle and put in a starting negotiation price (I should note the passenger-side had damage -- which they didn't address but blew off as "a little scratch" when asked about it). Before I could even finish saying the number, I was instantly demanded, "You have to come up." The "salesperson" took the price to the manager, where they both immediately LAUGHED SO LOUD I WAS SURE TO HEAR IT. They were both looking at me and I couldn't help but notice it was meant to intimidate me. It was SO UNPROFESSIONAL - I could hardly believe it happened! When the salesperson returned, I asked for my keys so I could go; they had them for a trade-in assessment of my vehicle. They did not give them to me. Also, they did not give me a counter-offer. I was told again, and in the same stern voice, "You need to come up." I asked to see the deal jacket and said that they were still holding gross. I was told, "It doesn't work like that anymore". I asked for my keys a SECOND time. The salesperson brought out the four-square sheet and was trying to intimidate me on how sales work and don't work, and how much they really make on a car. I reminded them I had already asked TWICE for my keys so I could leave. Finally they gave them to me and I walked out. As I started up my car, I was approached, "I'll show you the deal jacket." I was invited to step into the tower and the "manager" pulled something up on the computer (i.e. they were evasive and did not show me the physical deal jacket I'd asked for. This shouldn't have surprised me because it was status quo for the experience.) The manager sat squarely in front of the screen so I could not even see what they were showing and when I asked something about what was on the left-hand side, they said, "Oh, that's nothing." At some point, both of them said how they couldn't sell the car for the price I offered, and the manager was shaking their head over and over while looking at who-knows-what on the screen. Although both of them didn't like the price I gave, both FAILED to give me a price they could sell it at. At that point I just said, "Thanks." and walked again. On a brighter note, I did make a purchase that day at a different dealership in town, with the same make and model, less miles, less damage, more professionalism :) read more

Well people watch this Service Department they will tell you need things you dont! Our case it was a water pump even when they could not get the car started! Then when briefly had it running said it had a bad engine knock and a bad rod and I would need a new motor! When asked to listen to the car we had running in the lot Jake in service said he didn't have time (Mind you it was days end and 1 customer was standing in Service). When asked again to come listen and tell me where the knock was. He said that it was my opinion and he did not care! Then he threw the keys at me! Had to have a Blower Motor on my wifes 2011 Ford Fusion replaced. Charlie and Sebastian took good care of us and had the car ready in no time. Price to repair was very reasonable too. The only thing I didn't care for was the $100 diagnostic fee. If your going to do service at least wash the car too. Other than that these guys are great. read more

I had a horrible experience at this place. I took my car in to be serviced and a few repairs done to my 2004 Lincoln. The car was only in for about 5 hours and we were charged 600 just in labor. On my drive home I found that my previously working cruise control was not working. I called and was told to bring in today as Friday was too busy. They repaired the cruise control but never offered to compensate for the inconvenience of having to come back 20 miles and time. When asked to talk to owner he tried to leave as I walked toward him. I have a 2013 Ford Focus SE Hatchback that I purchased from Middleton Ford in July of 2013. I did research on the Focus prior to purchasing it and saw nothing but good reviews, stating that it is a solid and reliable car. After having driven the car for about 2500 miles, the transmission started to make very audible grinding noises when shifting from 1st to 2nd and then into 3rd. Additionally, it had no power when going up hills, and the car would often rev to 3500+ RPM's before it would decide to shift. I brought the car back into Middleton Ford for service, but not before doing some additional research and uncovering a plethora of complaints about the transmission in the 2012 and 2013 Focus. There is a definite problem with this transmission, but Ford doesn't know how to fix it and is instructing the dealers to tell their customers that all of the clicks, grinds, hard shifts and other quirks are standard operating characteristics of the transmission. Which, to their credit, they are standard, the standard is just broken. Either way, there was a software update for the transmission, so they applied it and my wife drove the car home. In less than six miles, she had the car rev all the way to 4000 RPM's before shifting at least once, and most alarmingly, while coming to a stop at a light, the car lunged forward such that, had a car been in front of her, she would have likely been in an accident. I took the car back to the dealer immediately and was told by the service personal that I have to drive the car for 500 miles to let the transmission learn and adapt to my driving style, despite my insistence that lurching forward at a stop is not normal. I was able to speak to a manager in the service department, whose initial greeting to me was "So I hear you have some complaints about the way the Focus shifts, like I haven't heard that before." Incredibly unprofessional! The manager did change his tune when I described the lunge forward while stopping, and he provided me with a rental car so that they could do some extended diagnostics. They had the car for about 24 hours, drove it 40 miles and were unable to verify my complaints, which is what I expected based on the experiences of other Focus owners. When I went back to the dealer to return the rental and pick up my car, I walked into the service area and the individual that I had been dealing with, as I walked in, answered his cell phone and walked away. I then walked past his desk towards another service department individual who proceeded to turn and start talking to yet another service individual at the desk behind him. There were no other customers in or around the service department. Had I not quite deliberately demanded his attention, it is difficult to say how long I might have stood there waiting to be acknowledged. I have never encountered a dealer service department that had such little regard for their customers, and I most definitely will not be returning to Middleton Ford for any additional services, nor will I ever recommend their services to anyone. read more

Don't lease from Ford. This has been the worst experience of passing off responsibility between Ford Motor Credit and Middleton Ford. I was allowed 12,000 miles per year. I leased a 2015 Ford Escape for $303 a month. I went over 36,000 miles about 4 months before my lease termination date. Ford Motor Credit and Middleton Ford did NOTHING to negotiate an early termination. I am turning the vehicle back in today, they are getting brand new tires and I have to pay them the remaining payments as well as milage overage fees. DO NOT LEASE FROM FORD. In shopping for my next vehicle, every dealership I went to expressed how difficult Ford is with leasing. As a small business owner, I place the utmost value on customer service experiences in gaining and retaining a client base. Ford did nothing to keep my business. They recommended a tune up, spark plugs, fuel flush and two new coils to fix my issue the estimate: 950+ tax. Husband went to the store this AM purchased all top of the line spark plugs for $60, and it works perfect.....so I'm glad I didn't put $1000 into it for that. read more

I've had 2 complicated service situations that I needed to take some risks (exploratory surgery) to figure it out. Each time, they made my options very clear and answered my questions. Front end staff are always polite and knowledgeable and repairs have not been needed often but when they are, I trust their service technicians completely. Middleton Ford has clearly declined recently. The service department, specifically quick lane, is virtually useless. When you buy a vehicle they tout how great the service is. Over the last year or so I've had several questionable interactions. Repairs that were absolutely necessary right away that were not confirmed by a second opinion, wait times that were over 3.5 hours for an oil change(told it would be less than 1.5) and a call in to ask about tires where the person I talked too provided information that I knew was not accurate. How can anyone trust a service department that can't be honest and simply seems to not care?? read more

Steve was amazing! We had a really poor experience with another dealership, and were at a loss for our car buying needs. I could not have asked for more. -Steve and the staff at Middleton Ford were informative but not pushy, helpful and polite. -Steve made sure we knew all the features and benefits of the car and he took us on a multi-terrain test drive. It was really helpful to feel the car in different types of driving conditions. -Middleton Ford also did a great job at updating the car's mechanics, new brakes/tires/buffing before putting it on the lot. It put me at ease to have an open dialog about where the car was at maintenance wise since it was used. -The staff gave us privacy when we asked which never made us feel pressured to buy. -The staff offered to pick me up on the opposite side of Madison to get me into my new car after they detailed it and drew up the paperwork. -Buyers get a great Oil Change discount for life. -I really trust the staff at Middleton Ford, and feel that this is what car buying should be like. read more

I took my car to the "Quick Lane" for an oil change yesterday and was told that there were six cars ahead of me and that I was looking at a two hour wait. I asked if I could run some errands and get a coffee for an hour and come back. I was told that I would lose my place in line and that their policy is that the car must stay there. They refused to budge on this and told me I could always come another time (I had driven into town for an oil change). This policy is obviously in effect to serve Middleton Ford's needs and not the needs of the customer. It is ridiculous. All they they seem to be is a cabin air filter peddling operation anyway. read more

Not crowded and seriously, going on 1.5 hours for an oil change on a car with only 5,000 miles on it. No update. Estimate at arrival, about 35 minutes. We just picked up our new car and want to say how happy we are with the treatment we were given from the moment we stepped in the front door to look at cars right through when we drove off the lot with our 2015 Ford Escape. Mick, our sales rep, listened to what we were looking for and did not try to sell us something we didn't need/want. When we took possession of our car he was very thorough in showing us everything about the vehicle and told us that he would be checking in on us in the future to make sure we were still happy with our purchase and gave us his business card in case we needed to call him sooner. Jason, from the business office made sure that we knew exactly what we were paying for, offering additional options, but not pressuring us to buy anything we didn't want. These guys are great. On my way to work my car gave me an error message that said, "Tire pressure senor fault." I called Middleton Ford and the told me what that meant. They stated there is a a test that takes a couple of minutes to run. So I drove straight their and found out one of my tire sensors were not working. They stated this was not a safety issue that I needed to get replaced right away but since I was there already they squeezed me in and was able to get it done before I had to go out to town. They also were able to get my oil changed, tires rotated and did a safety check on my vehicle. I trust and love these guys. Thanks Middleton Ford. read more
