Fine work on stove door. They replaced the glass on my wood stove door and the quality of installation is excellent. The fire rope was tightly secured around the door better than the manufacturer did in the original. I don't think any dangling fire rope will happen anytime in the near future. They do happen to be the only company around with fire rates glass. But even if they weren't, I'd still return to them. The job price was on par with other facilities that left the installation to me. I did drop the door off with them, so I can't speak to the customer service at job sites though. The were fast. 2 day turn around. read more

Great service with flawless work I couldn't be happier with the work they have done and the professionalism.

Awesome work at a reasonable price. Peter (owner) was extremely helpful and he and his team made a high quality 57" diameter glass table top for us. They also replaced a mirror on our antique end table. His team delivered, cleaned and set the glass on our table. They were all extremely professional. I highly recommend Middleboro Glass for any custom glass needs. read more

Poor quality. Brought my Range Rover in for replacement windshield. The windshield was replaced fine. The installer did manage to scratch the passengers door, significantly. I addressed this with the owner and he said he wouldn't of done that. The next issue was them breaking the clips that hold the outside trim, to the sides of the windshield. Brought it back. They said the computer recommends the clips to be replaced when replacing the windshield. They told me they would order new clips and they reused the original ones. The broken clips made the trim piece on the driver's side come off the vehicle's body as we drove it. Fast forward to a Friday. The passenger's side clip now breaks free. Now since the passengers side broke free, I can see that all they did was put black silicon where the clips where and pressed the broken clip into the goop until it dried. Overall, we didn't have our car for 3 days. Waste of time, do not go to this business. Half-ass work. Will only tell people the truth and the poor service. read more

TERRIBLE!! A year ago I called them 4 times to schedule an appt do replace 10 windons in Oak Point,Middleboro. IN every case they said someone would call back and set up a schedule . THEY NEVER DID! Three days ago I called to see if they could put glass inserts into cabinets. They said they would check their inventory and call me back...THEY NEVER DID! I don't care if they don't want to do the job, just tell me. They are easily the worst Glass co I have ever contacted and will never do that again. Brian Dutton BEWARE!!!! read more

DO NOT GIVE MIDDLEBORO GLASS ANY BUSINESS - Rude, terrible management, can't handle supply and instead of giving accurate ETAs (and saying they're too busy) they say yes, charge you and don't provide the service. Called last Wednesday for a glass quote - they took my information and said they'd call back Thursday. They called back, told me the price and that it would be done by Monday. Other companies were backed up, so I moved forward with Middleboro Glass. Large piece was to be completed (and delivered for an extra $75) Monday. They charged me on Thursday over the phone (no issue). I called Monday to figure out the ETA - owner informed me that they never do deliveries on Monday and that the associate shouldn't have committed to Monday (as it's their busiest time for post-weekend emergencies and that 4 other glass companies had recently closed) BUT they'd get it to be Tuesday around 12-1/lunchtime. I get a call Tuesday morning from the other associate saying that it had to be Wednesday. I was obviously upset (note, I shared my disappointment, did not raise my voice or swear), requested they at least return the $75, associate claimed owner wouldn't do that, but that she'd definitely try to get it done for me by Wednesday. I just got a voicemail and they're not going to give me any service and that they'll be refunding me. I called, got the owner (Pete) who said that I was being too difficult and then he HUNG UP ON ME. What a pathetic excuse for customer service, especially for a company that's been around for 40+ years. I'm sorry that 4 other companies folded and you somehow lasted. Worth the wait for Abbey Glass. read more

Horrible customer service. For 3 weeks they kept promising to stop over to measure for a shower door. On 3 difference occasions I was promised they would be here. Never showed up. After calling for an update on the 3rd day they did not show I was told "sorry honey we're too busy maybe next week " CALL SOMEONE MORE RELIABLE read more

Avoid this place !!! I asked them to make me some windows. Gave them all the measurements. Told me it would only take three to four days to make them. Gave me the run around for six weeks about giving me a quote. After seven weeks, had still not given me a price. So I set up an appointment for them to come out and measure all the windows I needed made in the hopes that that would get the ball rolling. The appointment came and went. No one showed up. No one called. So I called to ask if they were showing up. And got the run around again.... I don't know how they can stay in business. Lousy customer service. Disrespectful staff. read more

The owner is a great man. My husband ordered two window panes by phone. They got chatting and my husband mentioned we just had a baby. When I went to pick up the order I had the baby with me. We chatted a bit about his grandkids, then he told me the order was on the house, a baby gift of sorts. He said to come back again for something else. So kind and I certainly will be back. Thank you Middleboro Glass for being a top notch small town business. read more

Heed my warning and avoid this company at all costs!!!! I had wanted to use them for the installation of my frameless shower doors. They gave me a good quote, but when the time came for them to come over to do the final measurement, then gave me the run around for months - rescheduling appointments, never returning my calls after promising to do so, making excuses as to why they couldn't make a definitive appointment to come over, etc. At one point they actually made an appointment that I took a half day off from work to accommodate and then they NEVER showed up or called!!! I had to hunt them down to find out what was going on and was told they had all their guys on a commercial job and they refused to pull them off that job just to accommodate my "inconsequential" shower door measurement appointment!! They told me "sorry honey, I don't know what to tell you. Maybe you should find someone else to do the shower doors". Zero consideration, non-existent professionalism, deplorable business sense, offensive attitude to customers, dishonorable ethics, poorly run, Poor communication and abominable treatment of customers. The owner himself told me they had a bigger job going on and he wasn't going to interrupt that for my "puny" shower job. The gall of this place is jaw dropping. If you want to see an example of how a business should NOT be run - check this place out. read more

I would not use Middleboro Glass again. They were quick to provide a quote, but misrepresented their product. They told us the door would be a close match to the existing framework, but it was not even close. The workmanship was terrible. Do not use them. read more

These guys are good! I've been there several times through the years. The first time I went there, they replaced my windshield. They took care of all the insurance stuff for me and got it done in just a few hours. I've brought old "remodel" windows to them that had gotten all fogged-up, and again with same day service and they even replaced the locks which had gotten beaten up. I brought measurements and they made perfect new screens to fit these old windows. I'll keep going to them for everything I need. read more
