The fire rope was tightly secured around the door better than the manufacturer did in the original. I don't think any dangling fire rope will happen anytime in the near future. The job price was on par with other facilities that left the installation to me. I did drop the door off with them, so I can't speak to the customer service at job sites though. The were fast. 2 day turn around.

They provided a schematic of how the door would look, and an easy to understand and competitively priced project proposal. The proposal also detailed several options we were considering, including 1/2" glass. We opted to move forward with Pioneer, they estimated it would take approximately three weeks to order our custom door. Just under three weeks later, our door arrived and was installed a few days later. There were no issues, the measurements were correct, door looked great and worked perfectly and swings easily, all 90 pounds of glass. And the 1/2" glass gives the shower a high-end look and feel. We'd be delighted to work with them again on our next glass related project.

Out of nowhere comes a female authoritative figure stating, " if you didn't by it here, or we cut it wrong, it will be 1 -2 weeks " so I as any customer, took it as if she was basically saying ,"I don't want your business". Well both the young fellow and I were taken aback by her statement, to kind of smooth things over, he replied, "probably has to do with the pandemic or something ". The kid was polite and really trying, it turned awkward for both of us and I felt bad for him having 2 sons roughly his age. The piece is unique as it has a concave center which structurally makes it susceptible to breaking if too much pressure or heat is applied. After many calls, I luckily foud Paul, a true artist in glass restoration. He carefully buff all the scratches out, many were quite deep, and presented me with a glass table in pristine condition. Achin's Garage in North Attleboro gave me Corey's info, so I called him. He picked up, I told him what I needed, and he pencilled me in for a few days later. Though I mentioned I'd be paying out of pocket, he told me a dedicated number I could call at my insurance carrier to get a claim processed and his work covered if I chose to go the claim route. I appreciated that. He's a friendly and thoughtful guy. We planned the windshield replacement for a Tuesday, but had to push it to the following day, for a very good reason: it was snowing. It's a mobile service, I park my car outside, and the moisture would have ruined the adhesion. I'd rather wait a day than drive around with a windshield that isn't 100% sealed. Corey let me know morning-of, as early as it was clear what the weather was like. Another good call. Anyway, Corey and his wingman showed up on-time the following day (Wednesday). They got right into it within about 2 minutes. The ETA was about 45 minutes, and the whole thing took 45 minutes or maybe a little less. There were no plot twists of any kind, and didn't need to come back out until the new windshield was in. The whole thing cost $253, parts & labor (again, I decided to pay out-of-pocket). That was at the low end of Corey's estimate over the phone, that's for a mobile windshield replacement, where they come to you. I expected to pay more, and I'd have paid more without grumbling. The new windshield is nice and invisible. Unlike the stready old one, I forget it's there. Corey & associate just did an excellent job, with old-school professionalism and zero hassle. I'd definitely hire The Glassman again.
