I wanted satin gold finish, Brian knew exactly the challenges getting that finish...he told me within minutes that there were a limited number of suppliers which was so very true. He had sample colors, which the other two companies I quoted did not and both of the other also said it was no problem getting that finish which was incorrect. This told me immediately that he had experience and knowledge. He price was competitive, even a tad less. He and his technician, were prompt, took great care and time to ensure it was installed properly. Lastly three weeks after the install I had a minor item that I asked if he could adjust when he was in the area. I explained to him that I brought 2 pieces of window pain glass to be used as templates to cut 2 replacements for the broken ones on my outside post light , the young man said, "there's plenty of people out back and should be able to cut them right up for you". Awesome customer service, which I have received over the years at Abby Glass, both large and small jobs. Well here's where things went drastically wrong, resulting in a 1 star post. Out of nowhere comes a female authoritative figure stating, " if you didn't by it here, or we cut it wrong, it will be 1 -2 weeks " so I as any customer, took it as if she was basically saying ,"I don't want your business". Well both the young fellow and I were taken aback by her statement, to kind of smooth things over, he replied, "probably has to do with the pandemic or something ". The kid was polite and really trying, it turned awkward for both of us and I felt bad for him having 2 sons roughly his age. Keep in mind I live on Cape Cod and numerous times through out the years I've fought summer traffic to get good service, heck I pass at least 3 glass company competitors for Abby's service, not the darn glass, heck I can get that at HD. Which is not only within sight of Abby glass, it is on my way home. In and out of HD in exactly 21 minutes (Thanks to digital watch) . Heck , I bought the glass from them and they cut it for me for free ! Hence the lack of customer service on behalf of the little guy in many cases is why the so called " Ma and Pa " owned operations are fading away. It's not that their products are unique, it's the "hassle-free/personal service " that is what gives you the "edge " over the Big Box store , without it , well...

We wanted to replace our older glass shower door and received three quotes from local suppliers…read more Pioneer Glass was prompt, patient and professional. They provided a schematic of how the door would look, and an easy to understand and competitively priced project proposal. The proposal also detailed several options we were considering, including 1/2" glass. We opted to move forward with Pioneer, they estimated it would take approximately three weeks to order our custom door. Just under three weeks later, our door arrived and was installed a few days later. There were no issues, the measurements were correct, door looked great and worked perfectly and swings easily, all 90 pounds of glass. And the 1/2" glass gives the shower a high-end look and feel. We'd be delighted to work with them again on our next glass related project.

Take it to Doug Lothrop at Auto Glass Centre in Middle bro the RV repair shop said. Boy that was one of the best recommendations I've ever had. Doug took care of everything. My insurance company was slow to react, but Doug thought ahead and ordered ahead. The sticker ran out while the RV was at the repair shop, so Doug drove over there to replace the glass, saving me from driving to the repair place and then back to his place, etc, etc. He saved me a half day of driving and did a first-rate job replacing the glass. Now I have a beautiful new windshield and I can pick up the newly-inspected RV on my own schedule. For competence, flexibility, and pleasure to deal with just go to see Doug in Middleboro. Fine work on stove door…read more They replaced the glass on my wood stove door and the quality of installation is excellent. The fire rope was tightly secured around the door better than the manufacturer did in the original. I don't think any dangling fire rope will happen anytime in the near future. They do happen to be the only company around with fire rates glass. But even if they weren't, I'd still return to them. The job price was on par with other facilities that left the installation to me. I did drop the door off with them, so I can't speak to the customer service at job sites though. The were fast. 2 day turn around.
