I know excellent service when I experience it. This review is for the exceptional service I received when using Atlantic Marble & Granite, in Falmouth. We were doing a very needed remolding of our kitchen after over 35 years of use. During the remodel, I contacted three countertop companies and visited each one of them. From the three quotes, I received the best price from Atlantic. Not only did I get follow up with them on their quote, one of the companies never followed up with us at all. That made my decision easier. We met with a very lovely person at Atlantic, Bella, short for Izabella, and she was amazing from the start. She was knowledgeable and very patient as she helped us pick out the perfect color. We gave her all of the measurements and she took it from there. Within just a short time, they were out doing a template and a week later, the counter was ready to be installed. Unfortunately, because of issues with our cabinet makers, they had to hold it for 3 weeks. No problem they said. When the time came, they came out installing our new quartz counter. They were very courteous and professional. I was amazed the counter fit like a glove, especially where it had a jog in it and they were able manufacture it with no seam. We were very happy and the new counter looks amazing. If you ever need any type of marble, granite, quartz work, I would strongly advise you to check them out. I'm sure you will not be disappointed. She was careful not to overwhelm me with too many choices and even suggested a slab which was in stock which saved us some time & money. I really appreciated the template process they used. I was able to see what the counter flow would look like before they cut the slab. Most importantly, they removed the old countertop on installation day! We knew the game, add in lots of extras so he can spend hours at your home taking extras out to reduce the price to make it look like you're getting a deal. Even if they had come in with the best price we still would not have used then - if you can't trust the first point of contact to respect what you want then what confidence are you supposed to have with any of their team? Update: Sorry Stephanie but I have to disagree with your response. You are right in that we cancelled the follow up meeting - we were told we would receive a 'report' a couple of days after the initial meet - that didn't materialize so we asked to cancel the follow up and just get the quote. As for the add-ons - my husband SPECIFICALLY said we did not want gutters as ours were not that old - Alex added in new gutters, downspouts, leaf guards - why do that when you have been told we did not want them. It's not that difficult when a customer says 'I just want James Hardie Siding in Deep Ocean Blue and Artic White Trim to replace what we have now - measure it up and quote' - where in that conversation does it say 'but please go away and add in anything else you might like to see on our home? I appreciate as a company you have a system of how you do things with visits etc, however, it is not one size fits all - you still have to listen to the customer, and in this instance, your potential customer was ignored. We gave the exact same brief to 4 separate siding companies, yours was the only one that came back with a proposal that listed several things we specifically said we didn't want, or that were added in unnecessarily. I actually have been trying out Yelp's "request quotes" feature, and so far it has worked better…read morethan a lot of other ways to find good services and professionals, especially in an unfamiliar, new area. Case in point - I am in the process of moving into a new home, which was delayed six months (covid, worker/material shortages, yada yada), after having to get out of my mom's home at break neck speed because of a super fast sell. The sell was at the tail end of caretaking my very sick, and then dying mother. I also inherited my mom's very large, destructive cat. I am telling you all this because it will give you an idea why I made, what I thought might be, the stupid decision to drag a very old, disgusting, stained couch to the new place, rather than have the cat destroy a brand new couch. When it was rolled in, and I got to see it in bright light, I kinda freaked, but decided to try having it professionally cleaned before going to a plan B. Being new to the area, I looked at Yelp to see who might be available to do this for me and was prompted by Yelp to use the request quotes thing, so I did. I received a number of responses saying that all these companies were booked up, and a response from Beantowns Finest, with open dates, times, and very clear information about prices, which were VERY Reasonable. Owner/operators Jesica and Randy were very responsive to my questions, easy to communicate with, and easy to set an appointment time with as well. Randy showed up early for the appointment, was very professional and pleasant, and proceeded right away to turn my nightmare couch into an almost new looking couch - it was freaking amazing, and a waaaaaay better result than I could have dared to hope for. He also worked his magic on three filthy gabbeh rugs that I was fearing were doomed as well. I just can't believe what he was able to do with them. I was also grateful that all this was done without a huge truck thucka thucking in the driveway, miles of hoses, and doors open to the cold for hours. He has portable machines that work with a bathroom sink and the house's hot water. He left the entire area cleaner than before he arrived - which can sometimes be an issue with this sort of service. the final price was so reasonable, I bumped the check up a bit to make it what I thought was more fair. I will definitely be using them for furniture and rug cleaning, and any other cleaning services I may need, from now on. Thank you guys so much!

She scheduled us for a few days out and communication was great. On the day she texted to let me know she'd be 20 minutes late, and she was there on the dot when she said she'd be. She runs the business with her husband Randy and they brought two of their children to help. Listen: This is a REAL FAMILY BUSINESS! They were friendly and professional. They wore masks too. (Covid isn't over, friends.) They were all hands on deck for what was kind of a big job, and they did it. She even did an extra thing I'd forgotten to ask for and she made time for that as well. Their rates are fair, and I found out that they do a ton of other work too! On-site car washing and detailing, windows, power-washing, and painting, to name just a few things. Initially I just wanted a deep cleaning to help me get back on track with my own cleaning, but I might hire them more often, and for other projects too. Thanks Beantown Finest!
