A quick shout out to the team at New England Home and Glass Inc. (NEHG) for being one of the only…read morecompanies in this part of the country apparently that is willing - and more importantly - still able to repair legacy Pella on-frame clip in storm windows correctly. We cracked one such large 36" x 40" unit and neither the OEM dealer network or factory was able to assist us, referring us to local glass companies, several of whom either tried and failed or passed on taking on the project as too difficult. While the 3M plastic sheeting we installed while trying to fix this did work, it looked exactly like it sounds and was not going to be a good long term solution. Enter NEHG who not only accepted the assignment, came back to ensure it was the exact fit (saving us many thousands of dollars in replacement costs for the incumbent) and did so at an extremely cost effective price. Service and support is as equally strong as the final product they reinstalled and they are now in queue for us to do a bathroom mirror replacement project as a result of our confidence in their skills and fair trade approach. Give them your business with confidence and while I hope my review does not create a perfect storm of legacy Pella window owners who might have been looking at their cracked or broken windows and had given up and now will line up for the work, at least know if our project is any such evidence, you are in the best of care having their help.

They obviously didnt measure wall depth which is something a door installer should always do. Now the door is worse then the one they replaced. Now they dont even want to stand by thier work. everyone who install doors knows its just not measuring door entry you have to account for all obstacles and st least tell the customer before u accept work. not just accept to get work and not do the work correctly. i called and they said the owner did the measure. The team was prompt, cleaned up the job site thoroughly and also our copper trim and roof peak also look great. After seeking estimates from multiple companies and a few iterations of the scope of our work, we are happy that we went with Patrick and his team. In the future we plan to have another two stages to address and will go back to them for the work. Hytech came highly recommended. The team communicates well, sets a schedule and sticks to it and supervises all work. They also provided a great reference for the chimney pan work that was a prerequisite for the roof work. The estimate was also detailed and timely. All questions answered quickly over phone or email. Made the process straightforward and no delays.

Went to showroom and picked a door and options and thet came out to measure opening promptly. Personnel were polite and straightforward. I had a couple of other glass installers come out and give estimates but i didnt get a warm-fuzzy on the install process. I was concerned about possible penetration of the waterproof membrane curbing for the shower and Falmouth Glass gave me most thorough explanation of the process and assuring me the curbing waterproofing would not be compromised. The install went smoothly except i noticed the door hinge was slightly crooked. I called and a couple of (polite) guys returned promptly and straightened the hinge. Door looks great and operates smoothly.

I will never deal with this company again, even if it cost more to go with someone else. Terrible customer service. Gave them one star as I had to click on something, but they deserve zero.

I specifically told Allan that I was concerned the job would be rushed if it started that late and asked him to make sure quality wasn't sacrificed just to get it done. He assured me multiple times that the work would not be rushed and that everything would be done properly. Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened. The steps were essentially slapped back together with little attention to detail. Boards were misaligned, gaps were inconsistent, and sections of the steps were installed directly against the shingles instead of being properly fitted and finished. After I raised concerns, Allan promised the issues would be corrected and personally assured me everything would be made right. Based on those assurances, I gave the company a second chance. After the crew returned, communication stopped and my text messages went unanswered. When I eventually returned home and inspected the work, the steps were in even worse condition. The PVC decking was scratched and damaged, and the installers drove screws directly through the decking without properly pre-drilling for the matching plug system. As a result, the holes couldn't even be plugged afterward, leaving an unacceptable finished product. In hindsight, I should have terminated the project after the initial installation and walked away from the deposit instead of giving the company a second chance. Unfortunately, the corrective work was worse than the original installation. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend using a different contractor.
