If you're looking for a swanky place, that's not what you'll find. What you will find is a very good selection of granite/quartz/tile. I have worked with two different staff- the owner and Doug. The first two times we worked with Bianchi's, we communicated to them exactly what we wanted and that's just what we got back, within a week. Our most recent job, we miscommunicated about what we were looking for. The piece was finished to our miscommunicated specifications within a couple days. When we realized our error, Doug simply said, "no problem" and reworked the piece to meet the needs we had inaccurately conveyed the first time. He did this within a matter of hours. They do great work, their prices are very reasonable, and they are always pleasant and professional. I highly recommend them.

Overall, I had a bad experience with this company, early phase of the project they were very nice,…read morethey came up with reasonable estimates, for both refacing and replacing cabinets, however the actual numbers are different please BE AWARE, I went with new cabinets and countertop, for the countertop it was 76% over the estimated price, and they added bogus charges for alleged electrical work without my approval. The work was okay, the cabinets were incorrectly measured, the length of the cabinet to appropriate location to my vent was incorrectly measured, so they made a big stink about it's a standard cabinet, however, they corrected the mistake by relocating the vent to adjust with the new cabinet, the worker that made the adjustment was very rude, he walked out of my house yelling and screaming, when I asked him if he can install the kitchen hood, which was agreed that they would install all the items they appliances they removed for the new cabinet. The granite countertop edge was delivered unfinished edge, so it was scratching the new cabinet door, they did finally replace the door, and had someone to manually polish the corner countertop, but you can still see a variance between the original polished edge that was delivered and the manually polished area. I asked them to address this problem, but they pretty much ignored my emails and sent me a final notice payment and threatening to take legal actions if I didn't pay. Anyway I made the final payments for items I agreed, I will probably have to go through a legal process to correct the bogus electrical work they claim they did which we are in disagreement. Someone had already commented that they are nice until something goes wrong in a previous review, my experience was the same.

I was in need of a small piece of Carrera marble for a restored antique drinks cart which I was giving my wife for her birthday. It had been in her family for generations. I had been working with a marble and granite company in Waltham for months and at the last minute they doubled the price and extended the delivery deadline. I had also received universally poor experiences with several other fabricators in and around Newton, Watertown and Waltham and held out no hope that I would find any company in the business that was different. I called Stone Depot and spoke with Cynthia. Wow, what a difference. She was helpful and responsive and immediately sent me pictures of the Carrera marble slabs they had in stock. Her price was 2/3rds that of everyone else's, and she promised to have it fabricated in under a week. I drove down there, and we agreed together on the piece they would cut. 3 days later it was done and ready for pickup. She had pushed it through because of the fact that it was for my wife's birthday. I cannot recommend Stone Depot in Dedham enough. Cynthia is amazing and the team did a fabulous job delivering ahead of time. If you want to work with a company that is a delight, fabricates a fantastic product, and over-delivers on their promises then you should check Stone Depot out. You won't regret it.

They apologized in writing and offered to remove it and refund us. But they strung us along and did not remove the countertop until we could not longer dispute the charge with our credit card. After the uninstallation they sent an email stating they were issuing a refund but they never did and we could no longer reach them. I do have emails confirming they were to issue the refund so I am pursuing legal action. They are very good at making you think they will take care of things but then they stall and stall and its now obvious I should have never trusted them.

Ran into a problem: they didn't have any remnants in that color, and I'd have to purchase a whole slab just to match a little section. Mona came to the rescue! She offered me a remnant of a different color that she promised matches really really closely the original color. And since the new section was to be installed across from the old one (not contiguous), it would be very hard to tell. Sure enough, it worked out perfectly and Mona saved me a lot of money by finding a creative solution. Just like last time, I was doing this long distance without seeing anything in person. With contractors there is always drama or miscommunications, especially if you are not there to supervise. Not with Mona. Her reliability, attention to detail, and smart problem-solving in every project, no matter how small, give me total peace of mind. And the prices are still very reasonable, even years later!
