I never bother to give reviews but in this case I feel compelled to because the service was just exceptional. I was in need of a small piece of Carrera marble for a restored antique drinks cart which I was giving my wife for her birthday. It had been in her family for generations. I had been working with a marble and granite company in Waltham for months and at the last minute they doubled the price and extended the delivery deadline. I had also received universally poor experiences with several other fabricators in and around Newton, Watertown and Waltham and held out no hope that I would find any company in the business that was different. I called Stone Depot and spoke with Cynthia. Wow, what a difference. She was helpful and responsive and immediately sent me pictures of the Carrera marble slabs they had in stock. Her price was 2/3rds that of everyone else's, and she promised to have it fabricated in under a week. I drove down there, and we agreed together on the piece they would cut. 3 days later it was done and ready for pickup. She had pushed it through because of the fact that it was for my wife's birthday. I cannot recommend Stone Depot in Dedham enough. Cynthia is amazing and the team did a fabulous job delivering ahead of time. If you want to work with a company that is a delight, fabricates a fantastic product, and over-delivers on their promises then you should check Stone Depot out. You won't regret it. read more

They coordinated with the granite supplier and worked with my contractor for templating, making the whole process seamless for me. Recently I had a complex project to replace my kitchen sink. Twee and Thao were extremely helpful to develop an approach to cut the new sink opening and perform the installation on-site. Thao was great to work with - low pressure- letting me take samples home, etc. We picked Coronado Quartz from MSI - and even got to go see the slab we were buying in the warehouse. The template crew was awesome - fast & super accurate- and were same team to install. They did a fabulous job - right down to an almost invisible corner seam. I needed to replace the stainless steel sink protectors for the sinks purchased from Stone Depot a dozen years along with our countertops. After researching the size, the ones sent from the manufacturer didn't fit. Stone Depot not only returned them with no charge, they then sent me a link to the right sized ones on Amazon to order on my own at 1/3 the price. When looking for a kitchen renovation, you want three things from the people you are doing business with: professionalism, helpfulness, and friendliness. I can wholeheartedly say that the people at Stone Depot are exceptional at all three. From arranging the renovation to the renovation itself, their service was top-notch. Twee and Nina were terrific in assisting us in picking the countertops, cabinets, and sink we wanted to install in our kitchen. Additionally, their management was extremely well done. During all phases, from the planning to the installation, they inform you of every detail, ensuring you are always in the loop regarding your renovation. Not only is their management exceptional, but their contractors are as well. Tuan, Tha, Marcelo, and Felipe were courteous, friendly, and very well trained at what they do. They made sure every minor detail was accounted for. Although we were doing a complete kitchen renovation, they managed to stay tidy. Their work was quick, well done, and, quite frankly, very impressive. The installed countertops, cabinets, and sink were of the finest quality. All of which were chosen with the assistance of their aforementioned excellent management. Despite problems arising due to our home's ceiling, their workers fixed all issues faced on the spot, ensuring that installation would go as smoothly as possible. The demolition, along with the sink, cabinet, and countertop installation, only took five days to complete. Their contractors worked efficiently and with excellent craftsmanship. The quality of the materials, their courteousness, and their craftsmanship may lead you to believe that service with Stone Depot would be pricey. However, on the contrary, their price is more affordable than their competition's. Overall, Stone Depot is an excellently run business with kind, professional workers. Doing business with them was a pleasure, and we would certainly go to Stone Depot again. read more

I worked with Stone Depot to install the countertops for my home remodel and it was an awful experience. I should have know better when they had me pay in cash for the services. The craftsmanship was poor quality, the scheduling was delayed multiple times, there were sizable gaps along the walls and the top was not properly sealed to the counter and is loose. When I asked to have it looked at and fixed, Twee kindly told me it was basically my fault and "that our reputation is way more important than what you were concerned with", that my walls are uneven, the time lapsed it far gone, I signed off, etc. I will now have to replace my countertops effectively paying double the cost. Save yourself time, money and headache and do not work with StoneDepot. read more

This store is AWESOME! Customer service is magnificent and the selection of materials is huge. My husband and I bought granite for our kitchen 10 years ago. Now, we decided to renovate the bathrooms and went to Stone Depot to purchase a countertop for one of the sink cabinets. Both the sales manager and the store manager/owner were extremely helpful. We had a special glass vessel sink and they went above and beyond to make sure we got the perfect counter (which required a special cut) and they also offered us a super-special price.
