We contact various places and Magic Touch got back to us right away and had someone out within 24 hours to cut the existing countertop, and polished it to a professional shine on site. They helped us faster than anyone else we had reached out to, the other places haven't even returned our calls yet. The counter job is completed better than we expected, and making sure that everyone was happy with the final product no matter what it took. We are so happy that they were expedient, skilled in their workmanship, and went above and beyond to make sure we were overly happy with the results. Which they really didn't need to, but speaks volumes of their high level of professionalism and care in their workmanship. This has been one of the best experience with a contractor we have had. This company installed granite countertops in my newly remodeled kitchen seven years ago. While the…read moreoverall work was acceptable, the seams between the granite pieces were not properly sealed. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this at the time and ended up spending thousands of dollars repainting my cabinets, only to recently learn from another contractor that water had been seeping through the faulty seam all along, causing additional damage. When I contacted the company, they asked for $300 to reseal it, which feels unreasonable given that this appears to be an installation issue. I even offered to wait until they were working in the area, since it's a quick fix, but they were not willing to accommodate. I would recommend looking for a company that stands behind its work and provides better long-term support. Also, if possible, avoid placing seams near the sink--what seems like a minor detail can lead to significant damage over time.
