Last month I returned to purchase mahogany decking boards to matched some of the product I previously purchased from them. They cut each piece to my specifications without charge, helped me pack it into my vehicle and sent me off with many smiles. They are nearly an hour from my house, but they are so worth the distance to do business with. You can walk in or place the order over the phone. I've done both without issue. Everyone there goes out of their way to make your purchase and project go off without a hitch. Can't thank you enough and highly recommend their lumber yard for all of your related needs. The drivers of the truck had no problem going down my driveway, even though there are a few low branches that they have to go slow under, but this driver refused to go down my driveway. He unloaded the dishwasher right on the spot and said I can't help you. I then had to put the dishwasher into the back of my car which barely fit and drive it to my house. When I asked about them, taking away my old dishwasher, which was part of the plan, he shrugged and said I can't go down your driveway. Un-believable. Of course, when I tried to complain, I got Passed around to a bunch of phone numbers to lodge my complaint. I was livid. Think twice when you get anything from Lowe's that needs to be delivered.

The salesperson did not proactively notify of when successive deliveries would be made nor did they apologize for our many inconveniences over a week's time. This includes holding up the start of the job by our contractor. No apologies, no offer of a credit - a very rough ordeal for trying to patronize a local merchant. Maybe contractors are served better than retail residents?

I turned my car around and headed right in to to see Michelle to find out the details. Wow, it is true for less than $8,000 my client could have a new tub or shower with glass doors, tiling, Kohler fixtures too for toilet, tub, faucets and shower head, new vanity, even an exhaust fan with light and two decorative wall sconces. I called my Client with the outdated bathroom immediately from my cell in the showroom and Michelle was kind enough to schedule an appointment tomorrow Sunday even though they are not usually open on Sundays and my buyer will be capturing this all on this Massachusetts Tax Holiday Weekend too! Michelle explained to my Client what is included for the $7,999 (tax and installation excluded from pricing)...set their appointment and I am sure this new bathroom will be a great selling feature of this home coming to the market on the South Shore shortly!
