Couple days later Jonathan came out to do the work. Since I was outside I asked him if I could stay working on my law. I said I won't bother you . He was nice and said sure no problem and got underway. I didn't tell Jon that I new quite a lot about the glass repair business and I definitely didn't want to bother him . He got going setting up and was all business but surprisingly talkative. I know many repair guys. They rightly want to be alone. Jonathan was awesome to watch. He was neat and quick. He's the best Installer I've ever seen... He was a "MASTER". This is my Professional opinion as I was Director of Auto Glass Sales for an excellent company in New England long ago. I am 79 and retired.

I had difficulty finding the window manufacturer's name to get help from a local glass company for replacement parts. From the sticker I found on the window frame, I was able to get help from my local Weaver glass in Beverly who found the name and phone number for Parker glass. I just spoke with Nancy. She has the replacement parts, and is sending them out to me free of charge with instructions on how to replace them. Now if she could recommend a new cleaner, I'd give 5 1/2 stars!

We decided to look into Parker Glass in Gardner because they are literally within walking distance from our house. My husband called Parker Glass on Tuesday and was told he would receive a call back to set up the appointment. He was also quoted about $130 between the person coming out to our house (walking distance) and the cost of the glass. When he didn't receive a call back by the next morning, I called. I told them that the upcoming Friday would be the best day to have someone come out. The man said that he would call back Friday to make an appointment. That threw me off, so I said, "Same-day appointment?" He replied yes, it wouldn't be a problem. We needed to replace the glass; it's getting cold and it was in my child's room. I didn't want to chance that we, again, wouldn't receive a call back for an appointment, so I called Advanced Glass & Mirror in Westminster. They were able to set up an appointment for Friday without having to call me back. They came out all the way from Westminster on Friday at the time they said they would and replaced it for slightly less than $100. We never did receive another call from Parker Glass. I wouldn't recommend this company at all, as they don't seem to know how to make appointments or attract new customers. My guess is that because they had to come out to our house (they tried to pressure my husband into bringing the window down to them, which we couldn't do), they didn't want to do the work.

Each time, each windshield that they've replaced, has been a masterpiece. Their work is precise, flawless. Interacting with Kenny, the Hudson store manager, is a pleasure. Kenny is a consummate professional. I cringe when i think of our prior experiences with Safelite Auto Glass. STAY AWAY from Safelite Auto Glass, they are awful! ON THE OTHER HAND, Granite State Glass is spectacular.

I recently brought my 18 Tacoma in for a windshield replacement that another vendor did and messed it up on multiple levels. Some exterior work including some touch ups had to be done as well. It looked perfect after W. Fitchburg did their part and then used their own windshield contractor and after all was done, they cleaned it from one end the other. My neighbors commented on how great the truck looked and who detailed it! They're always booked out a bit, but there is a "good reason" for that. It's like a five star restaurant, you will have to wait. But it's well worth it. Mike stands behinds his work. Same deal with GF's 13 Toyota RAV 4. She got hit from behind, what a mess. Get car back. Looks like new. I've sent friends, relatives, and acquaintances there. Never a complaint.

They kept our van for about 4 weeks, due to parts they had to order. But when we picked it up, the repair came out beautiful. The van looked practically new and it's a 2015. The inside was cleaned so nice and smelled so clean. It looked like it was just detailed. Great autobody shop. We weren't charged a cent more than the insurance paid.

I recently got into an accident with my camper and had to rent another one, the thought of renting from one of those national chains with the enormous advertising on the side really turned my stomach. What a great surprise when I drove to Boylston and saw these meticulously maintained motorhomes available to rent. I was even more impressed by the level of passion and commitment that the owners showed: there was professionally dressed staff outside washing down the motorhomes, other people inside shampooing the rugs of their vehicles, making every inch of these vehicles look like they just rolled off the showroom floor. These people really take pride in what they do and it shows. They are a little bit out-of-the-way, but believe me we are so glad we made the trip.

Overall, the tint job Pelicar did on my 2019 Volkswagen Golf R was acceptable…read more I sought installation of a ceramic, legal VLT tint. They upsold me to 3M's crystalline tint film line, which I am actually happy about: I was already preparing to pay a pretty penny for a durable film with good UV and IR (i.e. heat) rejection properties, and the crystalline has superior IR rejection to ceramic film's already quite-good qualities. What brings down are the general service experience and workmanship. Three problems arose: one window began to peel at the bottom, they broke a few trim clips, they did not use the film I chose on the front triangles of my car, they tried to pass off a scratch in one of the films they installed as a "bubble" (which are normal after tint installations and eventually evaporate out). For the money it costs for them to do an all-around tint installation, I expected to have the same film used on every window panel (even the small front triangle panes, which not every shop will do, but I called beforehand specifically to ask if they would do these, and they said yes), for them to own up to any damage/accidents/errors made, instead of denying they made a mistake and trying to push me out the door. I understand no aftermarket work can ever be perfect, but there are shops who take pride in their work and care about integrity, which I felt was not the case at Pelicar.
