Matt assisted us with all decisions to be made and provided us with a very reasonable quote. What was also wonderful is that when they started, they completed the job within 3 days. Although this was always the hope, there are often delays. There was a steam of workers in our house for 3 days - always working together and coordinating all details together. The end product is exactly what was needed. Everyone was professional and courteous. We highly recommend and would definitely use them again!

We have never been disappointed. Steve is honest and straight forward - he always talks us through the options and lays out the pros and cons of each without any pressure or hidden agenda. Steve Raymond is a wonderful contractor! We have used him for years for small projects, and…read morerecently hired him to do a big project: adding a new room on our home. He gave us a fair quote, helped us through the whole process, and did great work, the room is absolutely beautiful, inside and out! Whenever unexpected issues arose, he found and explained the root cause and offered a solution at a very reasonable price. Right at the end, when we found the door was cut to the wrong size at the factory, Steve advocated for us and secured a brand new door at no extra cost. Steve is remarkably punctual and dedicated to his craft. He maintains constant communication, ensuring we're promptly informed of any developments. His pricing is consistently fair, and his work exemplifies quality and precision. Steve consistently seeks to address challenges in the most effective manner. When we faced an issue with rotten siding, he was the sole contractor to propose fixing the flashing above the siding, preventing any future problems. It's this level of attention to detail and commitment that truly distinguishes him. His quotes are always fair, and very accurate. If the price goes up, he asks first and offers a variety of solutions. If the price goes down, he's always returned the excess at the end. I'd trust Steve for any project at my house, big or small. He's a wonderful person, and a wonderful contractor.

Closed on my house this month and only with the help, knowledge, skill, and easy-to-understand…read morecommunication that Tom has. I had not known how important it was until Tom that having someone who was actually in the business of construction is critical for a solid inspection. I bought an old house, that's 2 units...twice the work and old houses well they have their own thing. So to compare I had one prior two unit house that was oh about 1.5 times bigger than what Tom had inspected...the previous 'inspector' took about 2 hours and left without even notifying me, made me feel like I was in the way if I dared ask a question while they tap tap tap on an iPad for my report. This previous inspector also gave a report (after inspecting another house that day?) to me that night...it was auto filled. Auto generated. Not detailed or customized to give me the in-depth I'd hope. "Could be this or could be that or could be the other thing or that other thing". Tom may give a report a bit later but it's because he actually puts his details to it. Not an auto-filled cookie-cutter report that isn't necessarily useful. And Tom spent a kindly 4 hours on my inspection! Phew! I was at least exhausted I can't imagine him. Tom was there with me from outside, to the basements (which I know so well now thanks to him), to the kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, mudrooms, bedrooms, and attics. And all nooks in-between helping me really KNOW my house. Most inspections nowadays are from hands who only type on an iPad and keyboard who took courses on 'home inspection', but I'd rather someone who's swung a hammer...and then some. He's an expert in construction, the ins and outs, inspection reports, in full detail with excellent photos, amazing communication, easy to work with... Oh and I am a first-time homebuyer, he made me feel at ease! I wish I went with him on my first house inspection (that's another chapter in the past!) He's going to be in your 'recommendation' book if you're lucky to find him and I can't imagine his level of availability in the peak season. Thanks Tom!!

I told him honestly that I had another quote that was several hundred dollars less than his and asked if he could match it. He came in closer but could take the tree down on Monday. Luckily, it had been tied down and didn't take down other trees or the electrical lines that were close. The tree was chipped and the crew was done in about 2.5 hrs. Good work. I'm taking a star off because I did get a much better quote that I didn't go with because I had promised the job to Mez.
