Then came the build process, in which we were fortunate enough to work with Steve Costa who not only juggled a third-floor walk-up, a building from the late 1800s, but also an extremely pregnant woman who was keen on getting this project off the ground and completed as quickly as possible. Steve led a fantastic group of NKB employees and subcontractors, but I would be remiss to not give a special shoutout to John and Mike who were our dream team carpenters, kitchen décor experts, and mental support during the project. Our dog clearly misses Steve, John and Mike as they became best friends it seems during the project. Completion took more than twice the time they estimated. Once completed, the electrical system would not function. We requested the issues be fixed so the kitchen could be functional, but Norfolk Kitchens refused. They acknowledged the electrical problems existed, but stated because they were not legally obligated to remedy their poor workmanship because it was "up to code". Apparently new electrical systems don't have to function properly to meet "code". In our instance, Norfolk Kitchens failed to do work to a standard that resulted in a workable kitchen. Very poor workmanship.

Well....to my surprise we never received the promised email so we ended up ordering online through Home Depot and found out later thru the parts department at S&J their price for the same faucet was $125 higher!!! I felt that if we were a couple looking to redo an entire bathroom and kitchen we would have been given that quote on the spot. Also, please note we were the only people in the showroom with three employees sitting at desks. This experience didn't sit well with me and I will never go there again or recommend them.

I turned my car around and headed right in to to see Michelle to find out the details. Wow, it is true for less than $8,000 my client could have a new tub or shower with glass doors, tiling, Kohler fixtures too for toilet, tub, faucets and shower head, new vanity, even an exhaust fan with light and two decorative wall sconces. I called my Client with the outdated bathroom immediately from my cell in the showroom and Michelle was kind enough to schedule an appointment tomorrow Sunday even though they are not usually open on Sundays and my buyer will be capturing this all on this Massachusetts Tax Holiday Weekend too! Michelle explained to my Client what is included for the $7,999 (tax and installation excluded from pricing)...set their appointment and I am sure this new bathroom will be a great selling feature of this home coming to the market on the South Shore shortly!
