I was a loyal customer of Midas for over 20 years. As of today, 11/17/23, my loyalty to Midas is questionable. I requested an estimate for an alternator removal and replacement for a 1998 ES 300 Lexus. Alternator Part: $452.99, Labor: $382.70, Total: $835.69. I thought this was excessive. I went to Auto Zone, Napa, Quest and Pep Boys. The highest range on the alternator part was $260. I called Midas and questioned why their alternator part estimate was $200 dollars higher than the name brand part stores. I spoke to Kenny, he told me that Midas does patronize (Auto Zone, Napa, Quest and Pep Boys.) however they are NOT top-quality parts and sometimes reburnished. Midas must go to other part stores for certain parts and that's why the part estimate is higher. I felt like I was lied and b*ll s*hitted too. I have seen deliveries on a regular just passing by from Auto Zone and Napa to Midas. It appears that Midas has tremendous markup on their parts. Or they are going to the dealer. I went to another brand name auto center and had the alternator removed and installed for $542.38 vs the $835.60 Midas estimate. Also, Midas estimated $391.99 for car battery and $83.20 to install. A total for $475.19, for a battery! Shame on me, I won't make Midas my first choice anymore for my auto needs. Do your research and get other estimates.

I adore this place! Best service I've received. I always appreciate how cheerful and helpful Emily is at the front. I'll use this place as long as possible! The technicians always do a wonderful job and are very friendly as well. Thank you for always taking such good care of my hubby and I! We've had: oil changes, tire changes, & inspections done here.

Excellent in every respect that counts…read more Over the last 5 years I have gone to Bingo Tire for all my tire issues over 3 cars totalling 4 times. Speed, Price, Value, Convenience, and Customer Service are an example to all businesses regardless of arena. They don't try to upsale you when you need servicing, if your issue can be fixed with a plug and not a "whole new tire", they tell you flat out immediately. I really appreciate that. The guys are quick, on my second go round, I had 2 flats, I have never been there longer than 20 minutes, start to finish (and I am definitely counting). I will go to Bingo Tires for all my tire needs as long I drive cars and they are open.

BUYER BEWARE. yes they are cheap but you will pay for it in the long run. let me explain to you my…read moreweek of hell. my car got a flat front tire, and had a bubble in the other one about a week ago on wednesday, and i took it here to get a used tire until i could replace my tires. they didn't have the correct lug nut key so i said that was okay and took this first picture to look at it and see if i could order one. i came back the next day, thursday, to grab some stuff from my car and check to see if there was a lug nut key in it that i had missed, before i spent money on one. i then decided to see if there was anything they had done as there was different staff that i hadn't met yet. the man told me that he did not have the correct lug nut key and i asked him if there was anything that could be done or if i should just wait until saturday for the correct key to come. the man had me drive my flat tire back and forth, three different times, to pull the car out (which didn't make sense to me since it was already backed in), to move it to a different spot, and then to pull it back into the same spot. he then proceeded to hammer the incorrect lug nut key in it and got it stuck, but i was unaware. i gave them the right key on saturday, and again, he had me drive the car on the flat, towards the inside of the shop. i asked if it was okay given that part of the rim was on the ground, and he said yes. i had to leave and go to dinner with my boyfriend that night, so i dropped it off and left it overnight AGAIN. we're coming on 5 days at this point. the next morning on sunday he tells me that the lug nut from thursday was stuck, and that he "didn't know" that it was stuck until saturday. i feel like you would've known by the time that i left thursday...but okay. then proceeds to tell me that I HAD TOLD HIM TO DO IT. and that my only option is to try to burn it out. which i told him not to. as you can see from the pictures he went ahead with that anyways...and again said i told him to do it, now why tf would i want you to BURN MY CAR. then the guy told me that because he can't do it, he's going to cover the cost of replacing my rim and tire. my boyfriend came to see what could be done, and noticed that they had burnt the wheel. my boyfriend had it towed to another shop to get a new rim and tire, and they got in his face attempting to fight him. i thought that this would've been a quick tire change, but it turned out that it was a whole week of hell. they ruined my rim. the two spanish men who closed on wednesday were very nice, this complaint is not about them. the man i talked to explicitly stated not wanting to do anything because he knew it would mess the car up. giving one star because i can't give any less. what a nightmare. edit: not only did they burn my car, the other tire that needed changing they forgot to put the wheel cap back on, and did not put on the valve stem cap. so that's MORE things they did wrong.

I admit it, I put off dealing with a mechanic as long as I could because I've had some bad…read moreexperiences dealing with "stereotypical" shady mechanics treating me like i'm stupid, and talking a simple repair up hundreds of dollars. I happen to know a bit more than most assume I do about cars, so I can usually tell when I'm being played. I had to get my 21 year old Honda Accord (It was my youngest child's first car, and he wasn't ready to part with it completely yet, so I'm driving it for him!! :-P) an emission inspection, which I had also put off dealing with as long as possible, cause I knew with a check-engine light on, and a leaky muffler, it would fail. I googled "places near to me" and took it to 3 different shops without telling them I'd been anywhere else. I started to getting a slightly uneasy feeling as they talked about what it "might" need. So I took it to one more place, A & S Auto service! They put it up on the lift right away, and told me exactly what needed to happen. We came up with a plan of action. They explained everything in plain, straightforward terms. They worked around my work schedule. The parts were ordered and there when needed. The work was done in a timely manner. The cost was a couple hundred less than other quotes. Every employee was friendly, helpful, and very professional. I even talked to another customer that had being going there for years, and she had only good things to say. They were so great I would recommend them to friends and family.

The work say that he have appointment can't check my car. And in map say it's open very very bad…read moremechanic shop
