I have been wanting to purchase new tires, wheels and a lift kit for my 2018 Jeep Wrangler and did much research on what I wanted. When it came time to make the purchase I chose Quality Tires. One, because my son had attended school where the owner's wife worked and I found the family to be trustworthy people so it was a no brainer for me AND because my husband had used them to buy tires for his truck. The day I made the decision I stopped in day one day at lunch and Dion assisted me. He was very patient with me as I told him what I wanted and answered all my questions. He took the time to research what I wanted and write out a list of what everything would cost. I told him I would call back when I was ready to make the appointment to do the work. When I did he was very helpful and told me he would get all the parts ordered and then schedule a time for the work. He kept me up to date when some items took longer than expected and had to push back my day to drop it off. The work took about 2 days and I have to say I was not disappointed! To my surprise they also added a spare tire wheel light which was a slight additional cost but I didn't mind because I was going to purchase one anyway at some point so it saved me the time. They also saved the old rims for my Jeep so I could give those to my son for his Jeep. Hello- I wanted to give it no-star, however I will give the some credit for the effort and labor put in to this work. Trial and Error. So, I have worked with Jeff at Quality Tire on and off for the past year (2019). Quality Tire has done work on my Toyota Tundra 2016. Today I received a call from Jeff because an employee "Dion (Tint Shoppe)" that I spoke with in person regarding an issue concerning my truck. The work that was performed on the truck was questionable. Jeff was disappointed with me that I never addressed this issue with him directly and reached out to me and that Jeff is a "Man" and they this should be handled as "Manly" as possible. I was told that I should've approached Jeff directly. I did approach his employee Dion, and if Dion wasn't interested in listening than Dion should've told me to talk to Jeff, Right? Instead Dion listened. Anyways, this new development only came to my attention recently. I was advised by various other professionals that the install was questionable. Long story short: I had a Fox 2.5 Coilover w/resi (Front Suspension) installed by his shop. The installed was completed and I was shown the work done to my truck. I was baffled and concerned after seeing what they did to my truck's chassis. A reservoir mounting bracket was cut in half and welded on to the truck's chassis. It was then painted black to match the paint. Today's phone call was to address an issue regarding the conversation I had with Dion, and the various concerns other shops had regarding some of the install. I was truly disappointed and was practically scolded regarding the Fox install,I was also told that I should've bought parts from the shop directly and this type of "issue" could have been averted. I was also told that buying online from retailers such as Amazon or any online distributor was wrong and that customers didn't know what they were doing... Here's my response to that.....major online retailers have finance options such as Affirm with little to zero interest rates. Quality Tire has their in house creditor which has a high interest rate. I opted for "common-sense". Amazon doesn't sell everything either. I bought my products directly from the manufacturers themselves and online distributors for many of my other truck parts and accessories. I was also told the Fox bracket not being able to fit on my truck due to the "lift" being too high and/or it was at an angle, and my truck having a "Frankenstein" install. This issue is one of few that I have, Jeff addressed why there was a need for a cut and weld in the bracket after consulting with his shop tech.., I am not buying that. Please don't sell me that. I was also disappointed as well after the cut and weld since NO-ONE asked me if it were okay before they cut-weld the damn bracket. I mean come on... I have attached pictures. I have been working very closely with companies such as ROUGH COUNTRY, EiBACH, FOX SHOCKS, CAMBURG, FLOWMASTER, (Holley), HEADLIGHT REVOLUTION, GOODRICH TIRES before and during the install to name a few. I have worked with big names in the past with all my other vehicles. This particular truck was in a transition phase to represent and operate as our Company Vehicle. We were going to showcase the highlights of the install. I never had any issues with my other vehicles. According to Jeff these companies were incorrect with the information they provided me. Two things were wrong today during the conversation 1: No-one asked me or informed me before cutting or welding the bracket and Jeff failed to recognize that. 2: As a customer I have the right to research and negotiate pricing options on parts with suppliers. Quality Tire may be able to lower prices to certain extent but it is not always the case. I don't like paying high dollar on interest rates through their in-house Creditor. Quality Tires failed to recognize that the online distributor have better financing options as opposed to buying in-house. As a consumer and end-user, I have the right to make the final call on the install of any parts and accessories on my truck and who I choose to buy the parts from. I am extremely disappointed with the work done and I will probably will never go back after our phone conversation today. The shop lacks an alignment machine, they are not able to re-gear, they don't cut or weld according to Kelland and Shaun. They don't do any fabrication work. Everything is "Bolt-On" install in other words. I am strongly advising anyone reading this to do research, understand what you're getting into "Beware" as this shop and their "35 years of experience" knows what is best. I got my windows tinted on my truck and am very satisfied with the way it looks. First time doing tint, now that I'm aware of the levels, I'll probably go a little darker eventually and will definitely go back to QT to have them do it (or any other car I get). Purchased rims and tires from another company and had them installed at yet another shop. While mounting my tires and rims at the other shop we ran into an issue on hub size and we called Quality Tire to assist and they did. Recommended hub spacer size, ordered them and then I had them installed at quality Tire. While there they noticed the lug nuts were not long snout for the rims installed and showed me why, recommended a new set of lug nuts at a reasonable price and installed them. Point being this shop did not have to help as nothing was originally purchased from them but yet they did and turned out to be very knowledgeable and helpful getting my truck to a safe install. Halfway through a cross-country roadtrip, we dropped by Quality on a weekday morning with a pair of flat tires, hoping to get them fixed. Not timely, unprofessional lack of communication. While on a road trip, we noticed a tire leak and called here to see if they could take a look at it quickly. They said they could handle it right away, so we came into the shop. They told us the inspection would take 30 to 45 minutes, so we left the car and ran some other errands nearby. An hour later we came back and found that they had not started the work, and had in fact gone out to lunch. The work wouldn't even have been started until two hours after we left the car. Can't comment on the quality of their service, but their timeliness and courtesy are just not there. Winston, the shop dog, is cute though. read more

Took my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT to mount some 22 inch wheels and balance them. They got me in on Saturday with little notice. They have the Road Force wheel balancing, which I strongly recommend. They did it fast and they did not even scratch a rim or a nut. Went back today to install lowering springs and they did a great job. They dealt with some unforeseen issues due to the kit I brought having very vague and misleading instructions. The truck rides like a wonder and I haven't even done the alignment yet. I will be coming back with my Stingray when it is time to mount new tires. I don't care if it is a 45 minute ride from DC. Don't use these guys!!! Once they get your money, their through with you. First the staff try's to act like the customer is most important, however they just want to get you out the door. My order was late. The so called manager baited me in by guaranteeing that my wheels would be to me in a week, when it actually took two. Next the wheels and tires were $1000 more than what I found online. The so called manager claimed it was because they added special services to the order to ensure a smooth ride. It didn't. After my car was supposedly finish and I left the facility, I receive a call from the so called manager that they forgot to install gaskets, costing me another trip back to the shop. When all was said and done I realized I did not like the wheels and wanted to work something out with them like a trade but I should've known they were going to screw me. The so called manager had customer satisfaction. Instead I got a bunch of bull about their store policy which stated that they would give store credit. However the so called manager told me "oh well". He wouldn't even try to help me correct what was wrong with the wheel. Stay away. These guys can't and won't provide quality tires. Instead you get quality ripped off or quality bs. I don't know how these guys have been in business this long. Go somewhere else! I'm glad you responded to my post. It proves that your business does not believe in customer satisfaction. All you did was talk about your risks and your potential for loss, however you never explained how you tried to make the customer happy. You are in the business of selling wheels and tires, so you should have a process or Goal for customer satisfaction in mind. It's apparent you don't. Instead you advocate the practice of taking thousands of dollars from a customer and blame their dissatisfaction on them when they are investing in your company. Way to go. I bought a truck and wanted to find a place nearby that'll accommodate for all the things I needed to get done. This place had it. I got my tints, truck lifted, tires and rims. They did the job in one day and were able to answer all of my questions on the spot and over the phone. If u go there at the wrong time, you might find it very busy but they were always able to provide support and answer questions. Prices were not bad either. My experience with Quality Tire was excellent. No hassle No upselling. Quality Tire has been around for more than 20 years in Woodbridge, Va Prince William County. I did my research on wheels and tires before going into the shop as far as what size wheels would fit my vehicle, best tires for summer/rain. It makes it alot easier on yourself and the guys at the shop when you know what you want and what your budget is. I went to the shop and gave John my wish list. He called everything in. A few days later materials arrived and wheels and tires were installed. The install process was done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Quality Tire for your vehicle upgrades! After reading reviews on this company while gazing through YELP, I just had to post something. I have dealt with these guys for over 5 years. I have gotten 7 vehicles tinted by them and have had friends/family that have done the same. Not once was this shop unprofessional, untimely, dishonest or produced bad quality work. The tint jobs I have gotten here are the best in NOVA, hands down - lifetime warranty means they stand by their work!! As a matter of fact, I actually have received cheaper estimates from other shops and STILL went with Quality Tire because of their professionalism and quality of tint job. Over the last 5 years of going in and out of this shop, I deal with the same office guys every time. The fact that they maintain the same workers speaks to their quality and consistency. All these 1-star reviews are complete and utter crap. Not saying shops don't have issues that come up here and there, but typically shops like this aren't in business for 20+ years if they are schemers or produced terrible quality service/work. Great conversation that went a long way in restoring my confidence. As Brian said below, the noise that was being made was not the fault of Quality Tire, or for that matter anyone. The rear door striker was causing the noise due to the extra weight of the tire. I've recently decided to swap the lift kit out with a Rock Krawler 2.5 Stock Mod in hopes for a better ride and have reached out to Quality Tire to complete the install. Upgraded from 1 to 3 stars. ********************************** My experience so far has been less than favorable. New Jeep off the lot went in for a lift. Before install there was no creaking noise, after install creaking noise that is unacceptable. Additionally, I paid $100 for lights to be installed on the bumper, the wiring was visible and sloppy. Asked to have corrected, you'd think extra attention would be paid to making it look professional on the second go round, but this wasn't the case. The reason given? Wires are too short. Came home took the grill off and saw that the wires had an additional 2 feet to work with. Literally took 10 minutes to hide the wires, still have a foot to work with, but that's $130 down the drain. I have no idea what I paid for consider I brought the lights to them. What I typically find in situations like this is that the guys that work there are extremely competent and enjoy what they're doing. It just appears someone is pushing to get customers in and out the door which is sacrificing quality of work. Unfortunately, they've sacrificed the most important thing. This issue is ongoing in terms of the lift install and noise that followed and continues. My hope is to re-visit this post and report all is well, they honored their work, replaced parts and ensured the customer got what they paid for. Quality tire was amazing. I went in on a Friday and told Jeff everything I wanted to do to my truck. I called back Monday after checking with the wife and it was a go. He ordered the parts that day and they arrived the very next day. I dropped off my truck later in the week and within a few hours it was a completely new truck. I recently purchased a 2014 Dodge Durango. I had to get the wheels swapped out and the windows tinted. Spoke with Brian who quoted me a fair price. Took it in on the scheduled day and was done in less time than I had expected. No damage to any of the wheels and cheaper than most other places. Skip this place in favor of any other establishment. These are amateur car enthusiasts and they don't practice good business. I try to explain to businesses that there is a built-in incentive to doing good business: you make more money. People recommend you and they don't bash you on review sites. I like setting up long term relationships and building trusts as a consumer, but this place is simply out to take your money. They quoted me $40.00 on the phone to install spacers, but when I got there, the additional labor pushed it to $125.00. Instead of installing spacers, it needed the longer studs too (read: tap studs out, replace) I brought ALL parts to the shop myself. It's a brand new car, it's not like the studs would be stuck. I knew I was basically paying charity to the shop, but I cringed and paid it anyway. They then put on some theatrics to make it seem like it took longer than it did. Don't waste my time when I'm overpaying to begin with. Of course, no receipt was offered at the end. The shop is dirty and run down, there's a few dirty, broken chairs for a waiting area. Nasty vending machines in a depressing setting. The rims aren't even the kind I would ever consider--who is buying these awful looking gaudy rims? Unkempt employees that look like they might be homeless. A true gem of the Woodbridge area. :) edit: they DIDN'T seem to put any obvious damage on my car. Worth mentioning. read more

I first conducted business at Quality Tire (QT for now on) in 2004 when I was 20. I got a simple exhaust installed on my 2001 Acura Integra GS. I'm 31 and I now have a 350Z and have had my car in their shop several times for tint, tire purchases and installation, catback exhaust purchase and installation, and I'm about to get a CAI installed. Next week when my Y pipe and plenum spacer arrive I'll be getting QT to install them. The reason that I keep coming back to QT is because they do good work, they do their best to accommodate people, and they are professional. Professionalism and good customer service are the most important things to me when it comes to choosing where to conduct my business. Yes, price is important to, but that's secondary to professionalism. QT's prices for installation are good, in some cases better than the surrounding businesses. Their prices for ordering parts are a little iffy sometimes, but that's why I love the option of buying from them or buying elsewhere and they'll still install the part for you. I understand it's hard for brick and mortar stores to compete with Amazon and eBay prices. I bought my Magnaflow exhaust from QT, but bought my CAI elsewhere. As mentioned earlier, I'm getting the CAI installed by QT because I trust them, they have never let me down, and their installation prices are fair. I've read all of the reviews on this site about QT and I'm amazed at the types of negative reviews. Some of the reviews speak of the timeliness of service, others are off-the-wall complaints. In my experience doing business at QT I've had to wait longer than expected sometimes; however, I understand that they are a relatively small shop with a huge base of customers. That means that they'll get busy sometimes. On the flip side, I've gotten my vehicle back way before I thought I would. So, it evens out for me. On average, the time they quote you is the time it takes unless something unforeseen comes up like a stripped bolt when I wanted to get my high flow cats installed. I've dealt with Mario, Jeff, and Bryan several times and have never had a problem. Even in the rare case of disagreement/question on price (maybe once or twice) they made every effort to accommodate me before anything was ordered or installed. They communicate very well so that you know exactly what you'll be paying, how long it will take for the part to arrive, and approximately how long it will take for you to get your vehicle back. No business is perfect, but some of these negative reviews don't reflect my experience at QT. There are so many shops in the area that if I weren't pleased with QT I'd simply take my business elsewhere. That's not the case though. These guys have my business for as long as I'm living in the area and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to get work done on their vehicle. read more

I have been going to Quality Tire for several years now. I started going there for window tint on a Nissan Juke. They did a great job and offered a fast and efficient turnaround. I then brought that same Juke in for a remote start install and window visor install. Need to say I was very pleased with all the work. I brought my BMW 335 there for window tinting as well, and again did a great job and offered a quick and efficient turn around. Later I brought that same BMW in to install some Dinan lowering Springs I had purchased and they knocked it out fast. We now have a BMW X3 which had window tinting installed and it was another Quality job. Lastly, I brought my Honda Ridgeline in for window tinting. They offered me recommendations as they always have done, however there were not so overbearing I was able to make a sound decision. Finally I wanted a remote locking tailgate added to my truck. Jeff let his fingers do the walking on the computer, looked up the part I needed and wanted and provided me a quote and for me signed up for an appointment. Once the technician got in to installing it seemed to be a little more difficult than Rey had anticipated. The best part was even though the work took longer than anticipated Jeff still honored the original quote with me. So, the wait time was great, work was great and the overall experience says I'll be back there again for something I am sure. read more

When I arrived with a photo of my new tire and rim setup, John (Jon) confirmed they had the lug nuts I needed in stock and the transaction was quick and easy. I headed back to my car -- happy with purchase in hand -- to find that one of my tires was completely flat. When I popped back inside to let them know I'd be changing my tire in their lot, one the employees offered to change it for me. He slowly drove my car to their bay and patiently waited while I removed everything but the kitchen sink from my trunk in order to access the spare. I needed 4 new tires for my Toyota FJ Cruiser. The guys at Quality Tire were GREAT! When I first went in they said they could have the tires next day and they did. We set an appointment and when I got there 15 minutes early they took it in right away. Poof had my new tires, they charged me exactly what I was quoted and the guys were polite and professional. They will definitely get more business from me in the future. NOTE: There is a NTB across the street from these guys and NTB gave me a huge run around. The didn't get the tires for a week and a half, they told me 3 days. Then they quoted me one price but when it came time they said it was going to be a different price, which of course was much higher. I had the quote on paper in my hand and they would not honor it.
