Well, they are under new management. They lying about where the old Management is (Joe is at Omaha Car Care now, but staff is told to say he retired.) Additionally, it seems they are hard selling unnecessary services. I not only had them tell me, who had no leaks, that I had a leaking valve gasket that I should be ready to pay $1000.00 plus, mostly labor for, but I heard a phone call and conversations with 2 other customers pushing the same sort of thing. Which seems to defy coincidence. Lastly, when you are going to badmouth your lead tech and talk about them being a problem because they don't want to sell unnecessary services, you should NOT do it in front of customers. It's a really small room. I don't care how you feel about them "pulling that card" of knowing what they are doing to prevent unnecessary services being pushed. Trust in this location went up in smoke very fast. read more

Made an appointment for 9:00am. They said it might be a little while to get it in and give me an estimate on the repairs. I left it at the shop and they said they would call with the estimate. Fine, i called them at 2:00pm and hadn't gotten in yet, but the desk guy said is was going in soon. I even asked if you do get it in could you still make the repairs today. His response was yes. Okay fine. Heard nothing until I went in to pick it up at 5:20pm. The truck never moved from the spot it was parked in at 9:00am. No apology no excuses just a "have a nice day". This place has no communication with customers and obviously doesn't care I wasted a whole day thinking my truck was going to be fixed. Why even take appointments if you aren't even going to look at it. The old manager Joe F. Would never let this happen. Do not go here and waste your time. read more

These guys deserve more than 5 stars! I've been going to this location for the last few years and they've been there for every car issue you could think of. I was having car issues in which my dad found these guys, called/talked to them and I've been trusting them ever since! They're always upfront about cost, don't recommend unnecessary services, work efficiently, and I always know when I get back on the road I'm safe which is crucial as I travel for work. Also, Rich is always kind on the phone no matter how many times I call in a day and shout out to Rob for his flexibility with my latest dodge street pothole and getting me back on the road for work. First time going to Midas for oil change and tire rotation. Nice guy scheduled my appointment and it was a very smooth experience. Only took about 30 minutes and they informed me I needed a new battery. I got a better deal at Toyota dealership so didn't buy it at Midas but they had a fair price. I appreciated that they didn't try to gouge me. I will definitely go back to this location. read more

there literally no stars I am going to give this business. The staff was downright rude, and very pushy on business. I went in for an oil change and was told there was a leak..lo and behold I double checked no leak!. I was given a breakdown of nearly $1700.00 and the associate said this "yeah 7.5 hours of labor and we are the cheapest in the city". The price of the part is that is claiming to be the issue runs anywhere from 7-40.00. If Midas thinks they can jack up the price cause 1. I am a woman and by myself. My friend who is a mechanic had me take my truck to an advance auto store where they ran codes! surprise no leaks prompted any codes!. Full of bs this store is..lying and manipulative to say the least. Only reason they got one star was it wouldn't let me post. But they don't even deserve that. read more

They need to fix there online request appointment part on the website. Don't show that you have all these times available and that a worker will get back to you in 30 mins when they never call. I I requested an appointment for Friday morning and when I did all my work, they said that my appointments in review and then I'll get a phone call in 30 minutes which I never got and I called at 3:30 in the afternoon and they close at six. I go in the next morning just to see if I can talk to somebody about getting my vehicle checked out and they weren't even there at 7:30. I had to sit until 745 cause I got there early and the guys like what did you need and I'm like well I was looking to get my vehicle worked on. I try to put a request in yesterday and nobody called me back. Oh yeah, we're booked up till next Tuesday. Well, you should call people back if they put in a request for an appointment and let them know hey we're busy up until this day but no, I know I could've called but don't have the requesting on your website and to have it saying that there's someone's gonna call you when they really will never call you Over an hour. I talked with three different ppl between setting up an appointment, finding out what was wrong with front end of my F-150 and getting it fixed and having alignment done, I told everyone I talked to leave my keys in the gas cap. Due to my long working hours I wouldn't be able to pick it up during hours. Show up to my truck being parked basically on the sidewalk of dodge street UNLOCKED AND NO KEYS to be found. I paid 562 for 1 tyrod and a alignment. I would not recommend this shop. read more

I had gone to other mechanics to get estimates on repairing my AC and the quotes were astronomical. A co-worker whose opinion I trust recommended this Midas location. Just a different experience altogether, in a good way. 1) They diagnosed the AC problem as something different than the other mechanics. 2) They came in so much lower on the quote for the AC repair, that I was able to get a couple of other things fixed (and an oil change) for less than the other shops quotes just for fixing the AC. 3) I understand that sometimes a shop can find more costs once they get under the car/hood, but the price they quoted me for the repairs and oil change was the exact cost I ended up paying. 4) I got my car in around 8:30 am and it was ready by 3pm. (Other mechanics told me they'd have to keep it overnight. And the AC works great! I've found a new regular repair shop. I'm so happy about that since I had not found one in Omaha yet that I really liked. read more

Took my car in today and thought it would be something wrong with the brakes. Turns out it wasn't the brakes and they made an adjustment to something that was rubbing against my rotors that was causing the noise. They didn't charge me anything this is just one of the many times I've taken it in and got great service by great people. Once again, this crew has made me even more confident in them then they did last time I used them for repairs. I booked for this morning to have the undercarriage on my truck inspected after a mishap, and driving with a newly acquired clunk under the front end. Upon inspection they showed me it was merely a broken stabilizer and suggested I have them replace both sides. I couldn't believe, as busy as they are, they had me in and out in an hour. Again, the service and attentiveness of the employees here is superb and I would recommend them to anyone needing service on their vehicles. I know for one thing, they are honest and trustworthy and are there to keep your vehicle running as it should. Joe and the Midas team at the Dodge Street location in Omaha, NE were great to work with. I stopped in without an appointment with a flat tire on my truck. Joe squeezed me in and repaired the tire. All the while he was answering 3 different phones, managing repair work, scheduling future repairs, etc. Joe did not have to squeeze my repair in given their work load they already had, but he did. I have an older Honda Accord & have been coming to this Midas at 75th & Dodge St in Omaha, for all my Honda's needs for many years... The men working at this facility and the manager, Joe, are all very hard working and do an excellent job making your car safe... & handling any and all repairs, competently... For instance, a few months ago, I needed to replace some of the oil lines that run under the car from snow and salt and Nebraska weather conditions... and they did a great job replacing them. Honda no longer carried those lines, but Midas built them for me... As well, their rates are fair and competitive... You can trust this Midas station for any and all of your car's needs... whatever year you have... ; ) read more

I have been coming to this shop for almost 8 years and have always had a positive experience. I come here for regular oil changes and each time, the team goes above and beyond to inspect my car carefully, no matter how busy they are. Because they take such good care of the vehicle, problems are rare, but I always know what to look for just in case. Over the years, they have replaced a muffler, replaced brakes/rotors and repaired an A/C. I cannot praise them enough! I completely trust them and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. read more

Tried to get my muffler fixed at an auto shop who was going to charge me about $800 in total IF they could find the part (I have a Toyota Scion tC and apparently parts for them are hard to find in the Midwest). ANYWAY, brought it in to Midas to see if they could help me in finding a part and putting it on. They found me a part in a matter of minutes and had it ordered and installed within 2-3 days. They also charged me HALF of what the other unhelpful auto shop was going to charge me. I definitely recommend this Midas location. They are amazing, friendly, and so helpful! read more

I love this Midas! Joe and his team are always helpful and do a great job without gouging me like some auto repair shops are prone to do. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. I told them there was some clunking noise coming from the front end. They found that it was a sway bar link that they had previously done so the parts were free since the had a lifetime warranty. Price was... "Fair." It only took an hour to get my vehicle pulled into one of the 3 empty ports. The previous may seem like a long time considering they have several technicians working, but I had an enjoyable time in the small dirty waiting room with a broken tv, with no reading material of course. When I finally got to enter the shop to be condescendingly told what was wrong, I realized they must be phone technicians also because half of them were glued to smart phone screens. The technicians were friendly but I would not recommend this location for anything other than a simple service job. read more

My brakes went out on my car, well I should say stayed in! I could barely move it and I limped in at 7:40 am. They didn't technically open until 8, but there were already people there working. They were really busy with cars left over from the night before, but they still took my wife and I home and then picked us up later the same day when the car was done. It cost quite a bit due to the amount that they had to do and the parts that needed to be replaced, but it's good to know that everything has a lifetime warranty. read more
