I bought a car at a buy Pay here about two weeks ago. It needed an oil change so I went to Jiffy Lube against my cousin's advice. She said she goes to grease monkey, but I went to Jiffy Lube because they were closer to my home. I really really really wish I would've went to grease monkey. Half of the things I needed I didn't get at Jiffy Lube because the price was already 125 just for the oil change alone. But I needed an air filter and one of my headlights was out. It would've been an additional 70+ dollars for the air filter and the headlight in addition to the 125 I paid for the oil change. Had I gone to grease monkey not only would I have saved on the oil change, but I would've gotten my headlight done for free. That's what happened today. The headlight itself cost five dollars at Walmart and when I got to grease monkey since I had the part myself, they literally changed my headlight for free. I haven't been able to drive after dark for two weeks, but they have taken a huge relief off my shoulders. Not only that they topped off my fluids and zip tied my bumper which was falling down in one area. Again, all for free. I really really really wish I would've went to them sooner because Alex, who is amazing for an 18-year-old, and Cadence were super friendly and very informative. Actually, everyone was but I wouldn't have been able to remember all of their names lol but I specifically wanted to shout out Alex and Cadence. They have a return customer going forward, and I'll be sure to thank my cousin for the recommendation. I'll also kick myself for not listening sooner lol read more

I always have a good experience at Grease Monkey. Growing up, we took all our family cars here so when I moved back near this one, I started bringing my car again. They're very prompt, unless there's a huge line in which case it is what it is. They keep track of how long they're spending on each car via screens inside the bays. There's 15 minutes allotted for each car I believe. They recommend add-ons, like air filter replacements and more, but aren't pushy about it. The guys are friendly and helpful, too. I found out during my oil change today that they have free top-offs between oil changes so you don't have to worry about filling your own oil, washer fluid, etc between changes. The price seems a little steep, $95 is the charge for a full service change, so I wish this was a little less. It probably pays off to have the free top-offs between changes, but I rarely need them. read more

Today, I visited this location of Grease Monkey for the 3rd time since I moved to the area. The team is really well-synchronizedand well-led. They communicate well and follow procedures. While all of this might sound strange in a review like this, it lends comfort to me to know these workers are much less likely to make a mistake. Where to start when I expressed my main concern bringing my 2017 Jeep Renegade was the alignment, however there was some other work that I needed done as well and was looking to get it all done in once. Everything was smooth dropping off my vehicle and having a full inspection sent to me with pictures and explaining what was wrong or what might need work done soon. Called and talked to me about the quote of pricing for all the work and parts to be completed, it was about twice the price I expected it to be and was failed to be informed about the biggest issue until I was paying for everything and picking up my car. When they finally told me in the lobby once I got my keys that they did not have the tools or equipment to fix my alignment "due to the adaptive cruise control" and recalibrating the other sensors on my vehicle. How does a shop fail to inform a client from the beginning that they don't have the tools to complete the primary reason for bringing in the vehicle other than simply wanting a paycheck from anyone who walks through their doors. Extremely disappointed and will not be returning to work with them for any new work needing done on my car. read more

Complained on another site and quickly heard back from the owner with his apologies and promise to address the issue internally and make good at my next visit. Setting the bar: I came here due to the reviews and it being close to my work. This first visit was on a frozen day & they were pretty busy. Friendly from start to finish, no wasting my time w a 30min oil change, all the fluids checked, no pressure service recommendations, no lies (I had a newer filter so I was gonna see if they made the suggestion for a new filter as a lot of places always do, but they didn't) AND VACUUM all for under $50 during the lunch hour. I listened to multiple service people interact w/multiple customers while I was waiting. I don't generally see this kind of attention and tone in an auto-service shop so kudos to whoever is hiring, creating this work environment and to this staff for raising the bar. They all seemed very invested - like a team of owners running the place - so refreshing and like a well-OILed machine *pun intended. This will be my go-to service place when I'm in the office. Drove all the way over after work to be turned away. Been coming to location for 10 years. It was not closing time.

Quite the horrible experience. Fuel filter service was somehow done improperly. Returned due to rough starting, was informed by the manager that the technician hadn't installed a fuel filter before and didn't screw it all the way on. Manager informed me that the issue had been fixed and apologized Again, few weeks later same issue. Return to Grease Monkey to have them take a look. They tell me everything is fine, there was just air in the fuel line it had to be bled. Manager specifically told me that there was no leaking around the fuel filter. For some reason unbeknown to man I took his word for it. Partially because they made it sound like I was too stupid to check. (I mean they were right) That being said in over 90k miles with this vehicle I have never had an issue with air in the fuel lines. Yet again, my vehicle began doing the same issue. Unfortunately this time I didn't have the opportunity to drive the vehicle. So I examine the situation myself. Fuel literally leaking everywhere around the large upper seal of the filter. Since they told me that it needed to be tightened the first time I figured I would attempt the same myself. Go to remove wheel well housing so I can access the underneath of the fuel filter. Literally over half of the fasteners are missing. I know for an absolute fact all the screws were there prior to their service because I in fact changed the filter myself last. Needless to say the filter was on snug. Replaced the filter myself. Haven't been back in to get literally ever penny of my service back after this complete disaster. If you value quality, and your vehicle. Go to someone who cares and takes the time and effort to properly perform service on your vehicle. 2nd rate at best. read more

I came here for the reviews and was not disappointed! I came to this location wanting an oil change and to get my brakes checked. I had noticed a noise coming from my brakes when releasing them, and my wheel shook a little when braking from highway speeds. My car was able to be serviced soon after I arrived. I came at 3PM on a Friday and there were many techs working, and they had a very efficient operation going. When I pulled in, I had several of them working on my car, communicating with each other and with me, and that was cool to see. The employees clearly and professionally communicated with me how my brakes looked, and told me the inside of my brakes were worn down. They told me I should think about getting them replaced within a few months. They didn't try to fear-monger me into getting them replaced at that moment. Nor did they even tell me to "come back next time" to get them replaced. If anything, I wish they had pushed harder to get me to get them serviced by them, but they didn't. Overall, my experience here was excellent. As someone who doesn't know too much about cars, I worry about going to a place that will lie to me and try to get me to repair something that doesn't need to be repaired. But that didn't happen here. I appreciated the efficiency and the overall professional attitude the staff had, and the care they put towards me and my car. And I enjoyed being able to get in and out of there within half an hour, all while being able to stay in my car. I will be going here for my oil-change/maintenance-checks in the future, and I recommend you do the same. read more

Ive been years and had no problems with vehicles until Aug 10th 2023 A couple days prior my 2014 jeep grand Cherokee desiel was service on 7 28 2023 as my car shut off on me on the interstate I checked engine my coolant line was detcached and oil everywhere ive called them 3 different times at opening and no replies. It took about an hour total after waiting for two cars ahead of me and getting my oil changed and new windshield wipers put on, but I was in no rush. Service was kind and attentive. GO TO THESE GUYS- THE GREASE MONKEYS! Awesome gals and gents at this joint. First experience there EVER and why I am ALWAYS going back. I showed up, panicked, willing to pay just about anything for my check engine light notification to be evaluated AND fixed. I had no freaking clue what it was about and had no idea where to start. So I pull in in this manner, ready to drop whatever cash I can. They find time between vehicles and do a check engine scan as I am walking my sweet baby boy beagle Grafton around. While petting my dog, the tech asked if I had gotten gas recently. I said yes. He flicks open my gas tank, turns the gas knob more tightly, asks me to start my car. CHeck engine light was off. I, of course, began weeping. When I asked how much for the evaluation, etc., he said not to worry, just to return for my oil change. I took my car to my dealership service department for an oil change, as I've done since I bought the car 10 years ago. The dealership did their full inspection as they normally do. At the end the dealership gave me a list of a half-dozen things that "needed" to be done. It was literally listed on the inspection form as "requires IMMEDIATE attention." They quoted me $2400 to take care of it all. I decided I needed to shop around for a better price and took my car to Grease Monkey. They have a great reputation for prices and honest work. Boy oh boy, was that ever true. GM did their own inspection and found half those items (replace power steering fluid, brake fluid and automatic transmission fluid) were not just unneeded at this time, but looked as though the work was recently done. They were absolutely perfect. The dealership was telling me to have completely unnecessary and costly work done. The work I did have GM do, changing cabin air filter and replace the front struts, were done at a fraction of the cost. My total bill was less than $700. Bottom line, I will never take my car to anyone other than Grease Monkey. Honest, fast, friendly and economical. read more

I recently went in because I had warped the screws on my license plate cover and without hesitation, the gentleman took a look and in 3 minutes removed the old screws/plate and attached my new plate with new screws with no charge! Today, stopped in for a routine oil change, no line or waiting; pulled into garage and while oil was being changed they took time to wipe down all my windows and windshield, in addition to their full check of my vehicle. I was in/out in 20-25 minutes and price much cheaper than dealership. You will never want to go anywhere else, I am telling you! This place has THE best service, hands down! I brought my Malibu in because I was having trouble with my vehicle doors staying locked. They spent HOURS checking every possible solution until the problem was fixed. They told me my battery was shot (which it absolutely was) and they gave me a great price with warranty. I'm not kidding when I say they spent probably 5 hours trying to fix the issue, and overall fixed the problem. They went above and beyond as one service technician told me a wire had burned through and he made a special trip out of his way to make a new wire and installed it without a charge! After everything was said and done, I paid for ONLY my battery. Nothing more. This business has definitely earned my service for the long haul!
