Midwest Tire is our go to place for all our car maintenance and repair. If it's a specialized problem that they don't work on, they refer us to a reliable service center where the work can be done. One of the things I like most about Midwest Tire is that they don't try to upsell me unnecessary services. I can usually get an appointment for an oil change in a day two from when I call. Today I called to see if I could have them look at the tires. The dashboard light came on indicating a tire on my Corolla was low. They said bring it on in right now and they would check it out. I expressed concern about being contactless and social distancing. Turns out there's a second waiting room and no one was in it. The service desk has a large plexiglass barrier to distance customers from staff. It wasn't long before a technician came out to tell us what they were doing. Turns out ALL the tires were low. He was going to pull the one we thought was the problem to check it out. Actually, there was nothing wrong with the tire. We may have accidentally let air OUT in our attempts to put air in so that All the tires were low! Not any more! And best of all, there was no charge for looking. Midwest Tire is a class act.

They replaced the compressor and condenser, recharged the AC, and explained everything clearly. The staff was professional, honest, and respectful throughout the process. The pricing felt fair for the amount of work done, and I left satisfied with the service. I would definitely recommend them.

Asked about schedule issues and if they can confidently do this job. Then was replied with: "no no scheduled issues sir , the car is in line with the space of it still being occupied by the car itself it was just one of those days unfortunetly and we couldnt start on it today , the work time is still the same im just backed up by 1 day sir , i apologize for this inconvinience and since we dont open sundays , the best bet will be to finish it by monday" Told specifically not to start it or drive it due to timing being off and creating additional damage. But that was disregarded and started any way. Highly unprofessional place and strongly don't recommend bringing your car here if you love or care for your car. I have been lied to and disrespected. This can be you as well. If anyone has doubts or questions, I have everything documented

When I got my car back it was making a scraping noise so I had to bring it back in the next day. They fixed it with no extra charge and said something they installed was faulty. Not sure how that could get past them because they would have had to drive my car into a parking spot and the scraping noise was not subtle. Now it is probably 6 months later and my car has been scraping on everything since then! My suspension was not put back the way it was, it is crazy low to the ground now. Should have taken it back in a third time but took me a while to put two and two together. They were nice at least ‍

I just wanted to be proactive and do something responsible for myself. Took them ACCUMULATIVELY 11 HRS over 2 days. Was told initially "spark plugs and coils are simple and take about 1 hr to replace" -Service Manager. After they "replaced" my coils and plugs for 3 HOURS my check engine light came on shortly after leaving the shop so i brought it back the next day. It felt like i had a misfire and i assumed that from previous experience with other previously owned vehicles. Mechanic test drove my car about 5-10x and still didn't figure out anything; going back and forth from garage to test drive FOR 8 HOURS. They alluded to me being at fault for putting gas in my car asking where i got fuel etc. They eventually "cleared the check engine light" and shortly after leaving, engine light came on AGAIN. I never went back and for $140 between walmart & O'reilly's I FIXED IT MYSELF. (Cylinder 4 misfire) from the OBD2 scanner i bought. Got my own spark plugs and tools to replace it and did it IN 15 MINUTES with youtube. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. Very to themselves and do not communicate as they should with customers about the customers vehicle and progress. They seem nice and love to offer bottled water but thats about all they're worth. Complete Clowns.
