Drove up to get my tires checked, which is great because you don't even have to get out of your car. It's quick and simple, but make sure that you have the info for what the pressure should be. It was a little frustrating because there wasn't anyone getting work done and wasn't anyone else in line, but it seemed to take quite a while to have someone come over. read more

Would not recommend. They stripped one of my lug bolts and hubs on my 2025 Genisis, while installing new tires and claimed they were that way when they got it. It is new car with one tire rotation by the dealer was all they were touched until Discount tire. I showed the bolt to Genisis service manager and talked to local discount tire in Arkansas all agreed the damage was done while installing we even called the store manager from Arkansas dicount tire and he refused to stand behind his work not someone you should do business with. I was contacted very quickly by Discount Tire corporate customer service. After a brief conversation they have agreed to take care of the repairs on my car. Giving a 3 due to the fact that I had to call the customer care dept when i feel the store manager should have taken care of it. read more

The mechanic in charge of my repair, Pete, was not very pleasant to work with. Pete is very knowledgeable about tires, however, he was rude and condescending. I came in with a nail in my tire. Pete tried to upsell me a full alignment and 4 new tires. The actual fix was done the same day and only required a simple patch. My tires are relatively new- 2022 and the tread is decent. Pete shamed me for having bought them at Walmart, and used that to persuade me into buying the four new tires. I understand the mechanics work on commission and yes, 4 news tires would probably be ideal for my vehicle. Had he been kinder and less condescending, I likely would've bought them! read more

The people that work there have always been very friendly and courteous. My only suggestion would be to have them not recommend taking your car with new tires for an alignment to their neighbor Brakes Plus. Came in with a pretty quick leak. David checked me in, walked out with me to look for obvious issues, and explained how they'd find the problem if it wasn't visible. They quoted a realistic timeframe (in case it was tricky) but actually finished faster than promised and texted me when it was ready. When I came back, David immediately stepped off the floor to help. The repair was done right and the price was more than fair. I don't shop tires often, but this felt straightforward and honest. I can see why this location is constantly busy, they provide excellent service in, what seems to me, a very fast time. I bought the tire insurance and both times (time coming off rim, nail in tire) they not only had it fixed within an hour but it fully covered. The latter being a brand new tire. This has been my go to tire store and they have been excellent with customer service and dealing with my tire issues. I think I've been seeing them every other week for awhile and each time they were patient about checking my tires regardless of how busy they are. I had a flat tire last night (in frigid conditions). Got it taken off and the spare put on. After a search on my handy dandy Yelp app, I headed straight to Discount Tire this morning to see what they could do. I was pleasantly surprised when the employee informed me the tire was likely repairable and if so, it would be free! Wow! With as fast as the tire lost air, I had thought I would need a full replacement. Whelp, it did end up being a free repair and I was back at work in much less time than I had anticipated. They do also provide you with info on your tread depth for future reference and anticipated need to replace. I can say when the time comes, I will be looking at Discount Tire. Why would I schedule a tire rotation at 10:00 am and at 11:45 am they are just starting to finish up the work. This type of work should take about 30 minutes especially since two employees are working on my vehicle. If you schedule an appointment with a customer you need to be on time. these guys were unbelievable. They were very helpful when I called to ask some questions. I just needed a tire that have been flat checked before I took a road trip and I was so pleasantly surprised when I took it there. Even though it took longer than I had hoped for, it took a couple hours, the fact is they checked my tire. They checked the pressure and everything. They fixed a little part that kind of notifies my car when the a tire is low pressure and they did that all for free. I am not entirely sure where to begin on this one. For the record, this is my 107th review and only the second time I have given one star. I reserve one star reviews for business practices that are problematic on a global level and for a place I would not consider going back to. After doing a lot of comparison, we decided on discount tire for a very specific tire that we were looking for. It was a high performance tire, which comes at little higher cost but was what we desired. My husband was quoted a particular price over the phone and was told that it included everything. when I got there to pay, the price presented was approximately $100 higher. They had added on a replacement tire warranty. we didn't appreciate that it was automatically added in. This exact thing happened to my dad, he was quoted a price over the phone and then when he went to pay the price was almost $100 higher because they had put this replacement tire warranty in. It just seems a little sneaky. I think that a warranty should be an entirely separate conversation and separate transaction. Further, when they removed the warranty, the price was about $11 higher than what we were told over the phone. I have no idea why. That amount may not seem like much for such a large purchase, but I still don't understand why we would be told one price over the phone that included everything and then end up with something different. Now onto the biggest issue of all. On three separate occasions we specified that we wanted this high performance tire. I confirmed this when I dropped the vehicle off, during 2 prior phone calls and this is the tire that we were charge for before the service was even done. What was put on our vehicle was a cheaper version of the same tire. Essentially the type of tire was the same but it was not the high-performance version. I never noticed this. My husband noticed it immediately when we brought the vehicle home. When we brought the vehicle back to have the issue addressed, they claim it was an oversight. Truthfully, Yes, it could have been an oversight, but it would have needed to be an oversight by what we would assume are multiple people. Over all, we felt that they tried to cheat us out of the high performance tire that we desired by deceptively putting a cheaper version on. my husband even went to an alternative tire store before confronting discount tire to make sure that we were in fact given the cheaper version. And we were. Discount tire was very apologetic and they did make it right by quickly fixing the problem and offering us a discount on the product. However, this whole situation still does not sit well with us and we have serious questions about their integrity. read more

18520 Wright St.,Omaha, NE. Our family has had issues with Discount Tires all around. Today I showed up for the scheduled rotation and they were more interested in selling me tires. I held them to the "contract" when you buy tires....free rotations. I honestly don't even know if they rotated them or not and should have kept an eye on them. After being told it would be an hour, all of a sudden it was only a 1/2 hour. I also had a TPMS alert which they chose to ignore. These are required by law and well, they were just didn't mention it. Funny how they told me that my tires had run their life cycle which, after pretty much sitting for the past 2 1/2 years since they last rotated due to me working from home now, was suddenly an issue? Over the years, they have broke my tire sensor while rotating tires, broke one of my lug nuts and replaced with one that didn't even match my car and, because I'm a woman, treated me like I was just going to suck up every bit of misinformation that they would try to sell me. Hmmmm...they don't know my background. I had my tread checked by another person in the business. No need to buy new tires because I obviously have plenty more life left in the tires I have. They have now lost 6 vehicles from our family, who use to buy Discount Tires. Be warned....you may have a great experience with 1 employee but all in all...they are just there to make a buck. read more

I've been coming to Discount Tire for 10+ years, because I've always received excellent customer service and fair prices. I've bought tires in Suburban Chicago and Duluth MN and now Omaha NE. It's obvious the company as a whole has strong values, because the service has always been great. Nice waiting area with comfortable seats and free coffee and water. I went here today to get a tire patched up due to two screws being stuck in it. Well, it turned out that the tire was too damaged internally to fix and all of my other tires needed to be replaced as well - they indicated that the tires I currently had on my Cobalt were worn down and not safe to drive on anymore and wouldn't have much traction. I very nearly cried when I learned this, as I explained that I didn't have enough funds to cover even one tire. The very sweet guy at the counter saw my reaction and said that he'd see what he could do. I fully expected a "sorry, honey, come back when you've enough to cover it." To my surprise, he came back and told me that they wanted me to be safe on the road and were giving me four new tires as a Christmas gift - I was so surprised and overwhelmed by their generosity that I nearly lost it again. Back on February 15th, one of the coldest days of the year, I got a flat tire. It took a while to get my spare tire put on in the extreme cold weather, so I arrived there as the employees had already locked up and were headed out. However, they were so nice, and unlocked the door, took my keys and brought my car into the garage to work on it in the morning. I realized when I got home I didn't have my phone, but in all the commotion of the day it had run out of battery, and I couldn't use "find my phone" and I figured it was probably in my car. I went in the morning to get my car, and it turns out one of the employees found it in the snowy parking lot, brought it in, and charged it up for me. This was above and beyond service! Went here to get my tires balanced as they were shaking really bad. They got me in right away and didn't seem too busy when I was there waiting. It took about 40 minuets with the inspection and balancing my tires. The only thing is that they try to sell you the new tires, which is where they make their money. It seems like every person who came in "needed new tires as they were dangerously low." Which is fine - I just said no - not right now. I didn't feel pressured into getting new tires today.
