TLDR; highly suggest going to any other Firestone location over this one, Richard "Dick" Bosse (manager) will talk you as if you're very stupid and will come outside and block you from leaving. I scheduled to get an alignment done since I just got new tires from Discount Tire, and they don't do alignments. It got done and when I went to leave I didn't even make it 1 block before I noticed my car had a major pull to the right that it didn't have before. I went back in and let them know that it now had a pull to the right. They took it back into the shop to correct it. When the service advisor came out he tried telling me I could have a slipped belt in my tire and that I could pay 30 dollars to have them dismount and check. I told him that I just bought these tires and they had less than 50 miles on them and that they were already inspected mounted and balanced. Then I was told that their computer doesn't have specs for the camber for my car which is a huge red flag and that I should go to the dealer. I told him that if I would've known that they didn't have the specs for my car I would have went elsewhere and I wouldn't have just wasted $200 for an alignment. He said he was going to go talk to the tech and would talk to the store manager to see what they could do. When my vehicle was finished the store manager (Richard " Dick" Bosse) came out and tried telling me the same thing. I tried to reexplain what I just told the advisor when he tried to shush me and I got annoyed by that but I then reexplained that I was only getting an alignment as I just got new tires and that there was no vibrations coming from any of the tires, there was no pulls, and that the steering wheel was straight. He then started talking down to me saying that with my car being "slammed to the ground" it's perfectly alignmened. My car is not slammed to the ground at all. I have a GTI. They are naturally low as they are a Sports Hatch. He then tried saying everything is perfect and they did everything correctly even tho the sheet he showed me there were still points in the alignment that were out. I told him to stop talking to me as if I'm stupid. I work in the Automotive industry myself, for the past almost 20 years. I know when I'm being lied to and he was doing that. I called him out on it and he just kept escalating it from there. I told him I wanted my money back so I could go elsewhere to have it done correctly. He kept trying to interrupt me and say that he owns everything and he's the one in charge and he knows they did it correctly. I just took my keys and left while telling him that he should not talk to his customers as if they're stupid and that he does not own anything as Bridgestone owns it and he's just a store manager. He kept trying to escalate so I just ignored him and went out to my car to leave. As I was starting to leave he walked outside and blocked me from leaving. He stood in front of my car so that I had no way to leave without hitting him. I then rolled down my window and said that if he did not move that I would call the police. I had to repeat myself three times before he realized I was starting to tech for my phone to call the police so I could leave. I was already angry and he just seemed like he wanted a fist fight and I was not going to engage in that. When he finally moved I left, and when driving away I noticed that the pull is still there and now the steering wheel is not straight and that they stole my copy of the receipt with the alignment specs out of my cubby. Luckily I have the charge of the service on my card showing the location and time. Needless to say they gave my car back to my in worse shape twice and Richard should not be the store manager if that's how he acts when there is a conflict and they messed something up. I worry about how he treats women if this is how he treated me. Instead of calling the police I just called their corporate phone number and told them everything that had happened so hopefully I can get my money back for services that were not done. read more

I dropped in bc of hitting a bumper on the interstate and having subsequent tire pressure issues. they explained it all thoroughly, gave me all options/price points and even got my car in for the whole fix. I went online and set up an appointment for 7 am on a Saturday for an oil change. I planned to wait to have my car serviced. Arrived on time. When I talked with the manager I explained what I planned to have done to the car. He asked if I was dropping off the car and I said no I planned to wait. He said it would be a couple of hours before they could get to it. I told him I had an appointment at 7:00 and that I had booked it on line. He said they had double booked appointments and was sorry to have this discussion with me. Unfortunately I had to cancel because I had no other means to get home if o left my car with them. No one bothered to call me is advance to let me know they waited so I could waste my time and May gas. The manager asked if I was sure I wanted to cancel. I had no other choice. What's the use of online appointments if you are double booking your customers . This is a bad business practice. We service all of our cars here bit if they continue this horrible customer service they will lose their loyal customers. The morale of this story is not to book online as you will make a wasted trip. read more

Brought my daughter's car in for a front tire replacement and was told they would call me back with a quote for a new tire. Front end manager called me to inform me they had the car ready for pickup without calling me first for a tire quote. Asked what the price was on the tire and was told it was over $200. When I said the price was expensive and I would have taken it elsewhere had I know the price I was told they were too busy and couldn't call me with a price before hand. Asked about a price match and was told they couldn't price match because the tire they put on was the cheapest they had. If I could rate this business as a negative star rating, I would. Reliable spot for us for an oil change for our car. We have brought our car(s) here probably 3-4 times and never had a bad experience. The oil change has probably taken about 40 mins-1 hour and we just walked around the Shadowlake Shopping center or went grocery shopping at Hyvee. They do take appointments and the staff has always been nice. The main reason that I gave them 3 stars is that the price is fairly high for their services, taking my car to the dealership that I bought it from costs the same for an oil change; and I always assume that a dealership would cost the most! I am sure they do a great job but I would love to see them do something extra to warrant the same prices as dealerships or throw in something like a tire rotation or topping the fluids off. read more

Fast service, definitely recommended. I always rely on Firestone for my vehicle service needs as I travel the country and I was happy with my experience at the Papillion location. I came in on a Friday for a tire rotation and there were several vehicles being worked on. I decided to go shopping in the plaza to let time go by and I was surprised that when I came back an hour later, my car was already waiting to be driven off. They apologized for the wait, but I was very satisfied with how quick the work was done. I walked in at like 6:45 when they closed at 7pm and i talked to Jordan i needed i tire to be swapped rims and he told me that they were really busy but if i brought it in the next morning they would be able to get it done. i wasn't in too big of a rush so i just dropped it off at 8am and they called me saying they had it done by 3pm. A few years ago I bought my wife some custom valve stem covers for her Honda C-RV. Don't buy the aluminum ones, they tend to fuse right into the stem threads making it impossible to remove. Well her low inflation indicator (guess which of your tires is low?) light lit up and when I tried to remove them, two of the four were stuck on tight. Vice grips failed and I didn't want to break off the entire stem (did that once before on a motorcycle, but that's a different story) so we called Firestone. They got us in, same day, removed the old caps, replaced with good old plastic and charged us ZERO dollars. They're the best. Glad we went and they will now be our first choice for any tire issues. Okay, out less than 30 minutes only a few customers. Compared to the dealer , quick service! Dealer charges less, but they may say I needs something else. I have an oversize vehicle, but I would decline the 9.99 inspection, which is not on the invoice directly, but as a labor discount, my invoice for you to see. Close by to my home, but I check my oil every 4000 miles, so the price vs dealer , which is far away, service is good & friendly. I recommend this business , I stand behind my rating, I try and be honest, so people can really try other places.i hope they continue their service, recently new location in papillion. read more

Worst service ever. Waited 3 hours for front brake pads and rotors, even though I scheduled the appointment a day in advance and stated I wanted to wait for the vehicle to be done instead of dropping it off. Got a half mile down the road before the grinding began. Took it back and waited another hour for them to fix the job the didn't do right the first time. TRUST ME, save yourself the time and headache and choose a competitor (Jensen, tires plus, etc). This Firestone is a joke. read more

I've had two incidents with two different cars at this location. First was a 2008 Hummer that had a warranty sent out for air conditioning parts melting in the interior that needed to be replaced due to fire hazard. I didn't recall this info right away when my air conditioning went out in the car, when I took it to Firestone they said the knob was the issue and said it would be $600 dollars to replace. The knob was NOT the issue it was the warranty sent out. They went ahead and replaced the knob and handed me the bill. When I brought this information back to them the man who worked on the car claimed he had "thoroughly" checked everything before making the decision that it was the knob at fault. They tried to make it seem as though I was lying when really it was their own guy. This happened about 2 years ago Today I brought my 2013 BMW X1 in for an oil change. Simple right? Nope. Oddly enough after I picked up my car the date for when the oil was change said 9/17, I assumed it was a weird mistake because it's August 30th. I'm driving and I notice the car says "service engine soon" assuming the car is recalibrating still I ignore it. Later I'm getting a weird yellow liquid all over my windshield while I'm driving, thinking nothing out of the norm for that I get home leave my car in the garage, come back a few hours later and notice oil ALL OVER the garage floor and ALL OVER my cars grill, windshield, windows, EVERYWHERE. The idiot who worked on my car left the oil cap off. I take it back in and they act as if its no big deal because they "got most of it off the engine" even though it's still ALL OVER the exterior of my car. I don't even want to clean this car myself because I'm worried it will ruin the paint. I don't care if this is a mistake, this is YOUR JOB. They don't apologize, they don't reimburse you, they don't even take blame. IF YOU COME HERE AND THEY MESS UP, THEY BLAME YOU EVEN IF THEY KNOW IT WAS WRONG ON THEIR PART! read more

Always polite courteous and professional. Yes it's a bit pricey compared to other places I've been but the work is always good. They guarantee their work and have never had any issues. And it's nice that I have a Firestone card so that once a year charge for major work is covered. I can always get an appointment and they always have oil change coupons online. read more

Had nail removed and plug repair done on 5 month new 2019 truck, drivers side. A few hours later hubby noticed box was checked next to "scratches and dents". WHAT!! Yep, there's a hand sized scuff in the black paint behind passenger side of cab and on fender of same side. As business owners, we realize accidents happen but our employees know that honesty is part of customer service. I will never buy firestone tires again and never go back to this tire store again. I purchase a set of tires approx 1.5 years ago. Started to hear a lot of road noise and stability issues. I first took my vehicle to my local mechanic and he said the car was not the issue , he said it appeared to him it was "slipped " tire belts on all four tires. No suspension issues. So I went to the firestone store I purchased the tires from. I did not expect a full refund , but maybe something off a set of new tires. At first they did not believe me that my tires could have "slipped belts". After they looked at the tires they blamed me and car for the tire issues. Said I did not rotate them enough and the rear struts were bad. I said I just came from my local mechanic and he said the struts were good? They would not even try to be an advocate for the possibility that the tires were bad and the real issue. Only look at blaming me and the vehicle for tire issue. Needless to say I filed a complaint with firestone and will never go back any firestone tire store again. I will never purchase a firestone set of tires again. I thought I was loyal customer, I had purchase firestone tires for 3 of my 6 vehicles I own over the last 18 month. Been to this location many times. The last 2 times made us realize they couldn't be trusted. The woman there appears to be trustworthy but there is one man who has told us now twice things he said were wrong with the car that were not. First he reported we needed a new battery. Took to a battery tester and it was in excellent condition (no issues months later). For some reason we still went back. The same guy reported we needed new tires (tires are a year old). Told him that was not the case. Within hours of getting home, we had a flat tire .... Leaky valve. Did not leak before!!!! The car was driven with low air long enough that the tire was ruined. Seriously, not happy. Firestone agreed to put a cheap tire on to replace it...but my tire that was ruined was not a cheap tire! I will not return. These faulty up sales kill credibility! I was told by the manager they are in the business of sales...but really they should call it auto service since they are servicing cars (not selling things to customers who do not need them to make a sale and a larger profit). read more

I'm in the military and I've been here multiple times to get an alignment(lifetime alignment is a great deal) and I've dealt with both Vanessa and Kevin. Vanessa is extremely professional making sure I get the right specs I want for my vehicle. Also knows how to treat her customers right. Whether in or out of uniform. Kevin on the other hand is hit or miss. I've had a few good experiences and a few terrible experiences. The few good experiences I was in uniform getting my alignment and he treated me with the utmost respect and was extremely professional. The few terrible experiences I had, I wasn't in uniform. The specs I wanted weren't met and I was treated like a child. The time that stood out the most was when I was preparing for a roadtrip and I wanted to make sure my camber and toe were to the specs I wanted. Before taking my vehicle off the alignment rack to confirm the specs I wanted were good, he just took my vehicle off the rack and said "here you go." I told him the specs wasn't the way I wanted and he replies with "Well we don't have time to work on it anymore. We have another vehicle that's been here all day we haven't started yet." It was only 10 minutes past my appointment(which was at 5pm) time so for him to say that I was in complete shock. And the fact a vehicle has been there the whole day and hasn't been started on yet is ridiculous. TL;DR/Long story short: Vanessa is wonderful and professional at all times.
