Thankfully, they also had a garage large enough for our Sprinter (also rare in our experience). They even accommodated our whole family in their waiting room while they worked (my husband, our 7 month old baby, our 2 dogs and me). After paying $200 for their diagnostic, I was handed a 10-page report filled with recommended repairs--but somehow it still didn't tell me why my truck wasn't going into 4WD. Now they want to charge me another $175 an hour just to continue diagnosing the 4WD system. Seriously? I brought the truck in because the 4WD wasn't working, paid $200 for a diagnosis, and left without an answer to the problem I originally brought it in for. To make matters worse, they charged me $25 for a couple gallons of gas because the fuel level was low. I understand gas costs money, but charging $25 for a couple gallons on top of everything else just adds to the feeling that they are looking for every possible way to add another charge to the bill. My experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. It feels like Jensen Tire 2.0--nickel-and-diming customers instead of focusing on fixing the problem they came in for. I would not recommend this shop based on my experience. If you bring your vehicle here, be prepared for the possibility of paying for diagnostics, getting a long list of recommended repairs, and still not getting the original problem resolved.

A few months later, I had a pretty bad vibration in the front end. They diagnosed it as a warped rotor, turned both front rotors and everything was fine. A few more months later, the vibration came back. They diagnosed it again as a warped rotor and replaced both front rotors this time because they could not be turned again. Another month went by and guess what, the vibration was back. This time they said the rotors "looked fine" and it was a loose tie rod end. They replaced the tire rod end and did an alignment. As I was paying for it, the mechanic brought out my keys and said there was still vibration, but I needed to buy higher quality rotors, maybe titanium. So at least one of the rotors that "looked fine" was still warped. They chose the rotors that were installed. I was not asked, nor given an option for higher quality. This is a midsize SUV, not a high-performance vehicle that would need titanium rotors. So now I still have a warped rotor and I'm gonna have to pay somebody else to do a brake job with quality parts. Never going back.

She said she goes to grease monkey, but I went to Jiffy Lube because they were closer to my home. I really really really wish I would've went to grease monkey. Half of the things I needed I didn't get at Jiffy Lube because the price was already 125 just for the oil change alone. But I needed an air filter and one of my headlights was out. It would've been an additional 70+ dollars for the air filter and the headlight in addition to the 125 I paid for the oil change. Had I gone to grease monkey not only would I have saved on the oil change, but I would've gotten my headlight done for free. That's what happened today. The headlight itself cost five dollars at Walmart and when I got to grease monkey since I had the part myself, they literally changed my headlight for free. I haven't been able to drive after dark for two weeks, but they have taken a huge relief off my shoulders. Not only that they topped off my fluids and zip tied my bumper which was falling down in one area. Again, all for free. I really really really wish I would've went to them sooner because Alex, who is amazing for an 18-year-old, and Cadence were super friendly and very informative. Actually, everyone was but I wouldn't have been able to remember all of their names lol but I specifically wanted to shout out Alex and Cadence. Here's a firm but fair version: I really wanted to have a positive experience with this shop. The communication was great, and everyone I dealt with seemed very genuine. In fact, a friend in the industry described them to me as "not the cheapest, but fair and not crooks." Unfortunately, my experience with their pricing left me extremely disappointed. I was charged approximately $3,100 to replace one headlight, including labor. I questioned the cost of the part at the time and was told that was simply what it cost. However, when I submitted the claim to my insurance company, they actually called me to confirm that I had only had one headlight replaced because the cost of the part was roughly double what they expected. My claims adjuster then contacted the shop directly and was told that there was a 128% markup on the part. The shop would not adjust the price, and as a result, my insurance company would not reimburse me for the full amount. I understand that businesses need to mark up parts and make a profit, and I don't expect any shop to be the cheapest. But a 128% markup on such an expensive part, especially after I specifically questioned the price and was simply told that was what the part cost, does not feel fair to me. We live in a small community, and I believe we should be able to trust and support our local businesses. I appreciated the communication and professionalism I received, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Based on the pricing and the way this situation was handled, I cannot recommend this shop and would strongly encourage others to compare parts pricing and ask specifically about markup before authorizing expensive repairs.
