Having to undertake a major repair with a shop we knew little about definitely made us a bit nervous, but from the very start Joe offered very competitive pricing and was very upfront about when he could get the work done. My son ended up having to leave the vehicle there and fly home and then go back a few weeks later for it while a used transmission was being shipped, but during that time Joe kept his car secure and even stored it inside as it was packed full. Even when there were some issues with the used transmission that we had sourced Joe worked with them on our behalf and got them to warranty it and send a different one. Today my son picked up the car and it runs beautifully. I can't thank the team at Elite enough for taking care of us, being trustworthy, affordable, and going above and beyond with awesome customer service!

Had a transmission rebuilt and that blew up in three weeks on the way to work. They realized that a piece of the old transmission was still in the transmission cooler and starved the differential of fluid and blew it. They stated that they would not install this re-rebuilt transmission unless I had a new radiator. I purchased one which was a third party (but a well known manufacture) and kept getting leaks from the drain plug. Kept taking it back to them and they kept claiming to tighten it. They stripped it and didn't tell me. I was on my way to work one morning and my car started overheated (got up to 265 degree engine temp!) and was at a place where I couldn't stop and throw hazards on or else I would've been rear ended! Made it to work (which was right by where it started overheating badly)and had it towed back. The shop manager claimed to tighten it himself. Leaked AGAIN and had it towed to an independent shop. They told me the drain plug was stripped and installed a better one. $350 later. Wow. Aamco stripped it?!?! AND NEVER TOLD ME IT WAS STRIPPED! Well I couldn't drive it after that (medical issues) and when I finally drove it it started to get hot again. Took it back to the independent dealer and they said the head gaskets are blown more than likely when the engine got that hot. Called corporate whom contacted the owner whom called me and was very argumentative with me not wanting to take responsibility for any of their work. EVERYTIME I'd start talking he would immediately say "umhm" right when I started talking. Like he didn't care and wasn't listening. Very argumentative!! I highly advise if you have a car that you rely on, do NOT take it to Aamco. They are NOT the company they claim to be. Owner is Very argumentative, will not stand by any of their work OR labor, and now lies to my face on telling me something is stripped when they didn't?!?! Wow. Their documentation is easily fudged. I should've went somewhere else. There are other transmission shops in town, go with them. You might pay alittle more but you'll be better off. Save yourself the headache. Now it's going to cost me a lot of (close to $4,000) money to fix their screwup. No wonder why they have such bad reviews. One of the many videos I have of it leaking is posted and the stripped drain plug will be posted soon.

That was 15 minutes of hearing them go back and forth at each other. Totally unprofessional. Then there's a guy in front of me who $3000 on a clutch and transmission going over in painful detail how much was quoted vs what was billed. . The guy at the counter was a snarky, cynical guy who thinks he's funny but is really just sad. . After fifteen minutes of that it's back and forth it's my turn. Guess what they can't do the inspection until Monday because his guy went home early. Any one else see a pattern? I just left.

I'm severely disappointed and tired of having to bring it back. We live in MN and after packing up our suv at the Omaha hotel to head back home, somehow the auto start push button was stuck pressed down. This hero answered my phone call, while out running errands and said he'd swing on by. He not only very quickly and inexpensively dismantled it in a hotel parking lot he made it so we were able to drive the 6+ hours home without a worry.
