Sam's club was "ok" not a lot of clothing selection..they were out of my vanilla protein shakes ..(I bought chocolate and cafe latte) they did however have lots of huge lobster tails (yes please) and I also bought crab legs and jumbo shrimp! Last time I was transferred to Auto Center been on hold for over 34 minutes after being assured by female staff that she would go personally to auto center and let them know there was a call. I recently took advantage of Sam's limited time $20 membership offer online. Decided to pay a visit at 10am on a weekday to check it out and avoid crowds. I've been a member before but it's been a couple of decades ago. I had fun walking up and down the aisles with my cart checking the inventory and prices. There sure are a lot of snacks and processed foods! And huge sizes of everything. I walked away with some granola bars, yogurt, individually packaged trail mix, guacamole, mango salsa, pistachios, and a few other things that were cheaper in bulk than at the regular grocery store and also good for quick snacks or to pack in a lunch bag for work. I did have to ask how the check out process worked and the staff member on duty was very helpful. Parking was ample and it was real easy to get in and out of from 72nd Street in Papillion. I look forward to coming back with my spouse so he can choose some of his own stuff. read more

Most of the time this location is nicely stocked and easy to navigate their isles. Employees are scattered if needing assistance, but I feel like most are working the check-out lines. I feel the scan and go is what makes using this franchise a little easier compared to others. The few times I've used the restrooms they are somewhat clean but not always stocked with paper towels/toilet paper. I definitely prefer some of Costco's items over Sam's, but Sam's provides certain items that Costco doesn't provide. I've always been pleased with the meat selection, fridge meals, and their snack items. I'm really loving the fact that they have fresh lamb in stock almost always. Plus, I think their holiday gift options are better. I agree with my wife that paying through their app is much easier than having to stand in line compared to Costco. Overall this store location is nice, but getting out of the side parking can be tricky when the gas lines are crazy at times. read more

The inside is standard, but sometimes I feel the check out area is understaffed when it's a busy time (aka Sat/Sun daytime). Purchased a dishwasher from Sam's on 1/21/2024. They stated it would be delivered on 2/12. On Monday they said they had a problem with their driver and it would be delivered on Wed 2/14 between 3pm - 7pm. At 4:30 pm they stated it would be delivered by 8:30pm. Called the Sams help line at 8:11pm and after being on hold and finally talking to someone they hung up on me. Called back and again was on hold. Finally spoke to someone for over 35+ mins we were disconnected. They said they would not be delivering today after all. So frustrating! I have ordered from NE furniture mart, Home Depot, Walmart, Lowe's and have never had this terrible customer service. Very disappointed with my on-line order at Sam's! read more

I've been a SAMs member for about 7 years now. What is making me consider leaving and going to Costco is that the company is putting the job on the consumer- to the max! I don't mind self checkout once in a while, but the location in Papillion keeps closing self checkout lanes and workers are telling customers that they need to download the app. There are so many places that are demanding this, not only do I have ring up my own stuff, I have to use my data, internet, and phone battery to checkout!!! I don't think so! None wants or needs anymore apps on their phones. The line for self checkout without the app is always incredibly long and SAMs should take note that people are getting fed up. I just bought a Sams Club holiday membership at 50% off online. I was so excited to become a member. That sadly ended once I arrived. The lady at the membership table was very rude to me. She said she doesn't really like online purchases or know how they work. She basically argued with me not wanting to help me. What a way to welcome and treat a new member into your store. Even if I didn't pay full price I should not have been treated like a second class member or of less importance. She wore no nametag so I don't know her name. I am glad I did not pay full price to a store that treated me so unwelcoming as I probably won't be back. My next step is the Better Business Bureau. I won't be recommending anyone to shop at Sams Club. Can you blame me? I won't ever buy a Sams Club Deal again! read more

I don't usually frequent Sam's club, but I do stop here once in a blue moon if I know they have something that Costco does not have. The last two trips to this Sam's club has been horrible nightmares. The last time I came here was in May because I had to get some pressed juices that they had there. On our way to check out with a whole shopping cart of stuff, the person at the check out said I needed to go to member services. No explanation as to why, but being the rule follower that I am, I followed her instructions and went to member services. Apparently I had to renew our membership, but for some reason I couldn't it and either I get my own membership or my husband had to come pay for the renewal. Maybe it's not their protocol to just have the person pay and figure out the membership thing later? Who knows, but I had to wait until my husband could get there to do it for me. By then, I had two kids that were irritated and fussy because we've been there so long! So of course, before we left, he asked them to put me on the membership in a way that next time I could renew the membership or make any changes on it. Fast forward to yesterday, I had to go there because I knew they had disney gift cards there and we needed some for an upcoming trip. I forgot my Sam's club card so I went straight to the member services desk. I don't really know why it took so long to get a temporary card, but it did and at that time I was like, maybe I wasn't supposed to come here today After I finally got my temporary card, my sister and I got what we came here for and a bag of almonds and went to check out. Again, I had to go to member services because this time, I had to pay for my membership?!? We just renewed the thing in May so it's not due yet. Ugh by now I'm already a little upset because this has already happened before. This time, luckily I don't have the kids with me and I have only two things to buy. So, I wait for the supervisor to come, and wait, and wait, and wait. All I am thinking is if any other retailer did this to any other person, they may get yelled at. I'm not a teller and I kinda don't get really mad at people, so these people had it easy. When the lady came back to me after helping 2 other customers first, I showed her the card my husband sent me because by the time she came back, I had already told him the whole situation. then I had to go to member services. By the time they were ready to have me pay, 35 minutes from the time we went to the registers to pay has elapsed. By this time and amount of frustration I had, I had forgotten I had Sams club gift cards to use and I had JUST paid. So, hoping they stand by the sign that says 100% satisfaction guaranteed, I stood in line in hopes they could just refund the money on my card and pay again. Well, they couldn't. Then the lady said to me, I told you so. What happened to the satisfaction guarantee? Total time spent in Sam's. 55 minutes. Kind of unhappy but I don't lash out at people. My sister on the other hand, if she were by herself, they would have gotten an earful. I mean, I don't like writing bad about any place, but come on. Don't make a customer wait that long. Most people would have lost it by now. Also, when you say 100% satisfaction guaranteed, doesn't that mean the customer should be satisfied? I hate going here especially when I'm checking out. I can have just one or items in the carts to ring up. I go to self check out because the line is short or there is no wait. This review was prompted by the store manager at 8146 in Omaha. We are having a surprise 50 th b day party and ordered a cake 10 days in advance. Arrived to pick it up about half an hour after it was promised and it was not ready. The girl in the bakery said she could do it for us in 20 min. Went back in 20 minutes and was appalled at what she was offering me! With the party the next day I really had no choice but to take it. I told her it was exactly what I hade expected! A rush job! During the time I was waiting. I filled out a comment card. It advised to talk to member of management. I did. Was just further disappointed as Stacy Garver thought it looked "pretty good" under the circumstances and walked away throwing over he shoulder that she would "take care" of the bakery. How sad! Love Sams and especially love they have one closer to our house now in Papillion. We go to Sam's weekly to pick up a number of items and always get lured to buy things we really don,'t need but are such great deals. We have bought Pizza from Omaha West or the Council Bluffs store at least every two weeks for years. Their take and bake. Kids absolutely love it and it is a very reasonable price. However, the store in Papillion for what ever reason skimps on the ingredients. Often times the sauce does not go close to the edge of the crust...Sometimes an inch and 1/2 from the end. I posted some pictures on this Yelp page so you can see for yourselves. You can see in the pictures the lack of cheese. Come on guy's I am willing to pay more but don't skimp I feel like I need to go to one of the other stores in order to get a reasonably well made pizza. This Sam's is a weekly trip for us and I never come away disappointed. It's well stocked and organized, and almost never looks unkept. The weekends tend to be a busier time, but if you come on a Monday night you can have the run of the place without the constant buzz of sample-givers and credit card offers. This is where I offer up one complaint: I can count on one hand the number of checkouts where I wasn't hounded to either upgrade my membership or get a Sam's Club credit card. They always tell me how good a deal it us, but if I really saved all that money and they didn't make a tidy profit from them, I doubt I'd hear about it. We had gone to Sam's club on Saturday and they had a sale on a minibike and we bought one. On Monday my husband was telling his coworkers about the great deal and one of them also wanted one. My husband called and asked Customer Service if they were still on sale, the lady asked him to hold and she would go check, after a few minutes she came back on the line and told him that it was a one day sale and no longer available. He had called an told me what they said, I was on my lunch break and in the area so I stopped in to check it out and they were still on sale. I made the purchase for him and told the lady that helped me and the cashier what was told to us and neither one seemed to care. This is supposed to be customer service???? I decided to call back and talk to a manager, first time I called I was asked to hold....after 10 minutes I hung up and called back. Again, asked to hold and hung up after 5 minutes.(Great customer service!!) The third time I called back she was laughing so hard when she picked up the line could barely understand what she was saying. I asked to speak to a manger and she replied.... do you want to talk to a manager or someone who cares to help you? So I told her someone that would listen to me. Curtis who is the food manager(?) took the call and he said that he would relay my information to the front desk manager so I really do not know if it was addressed or not. There are too many stores that are actually willing to help customers and not "PRETEND" to. I like Sam's Club but this is strike three and maybe it's time to look into Costco. People wonder why people do not shop in the mortar buildings any more and this is one reason why. Learn how to give your customers respect. If you do not like your job or not want to do what you are hired to do.....then leave. read more
