I went here for an oil change and was told that my breaks were "metal on metal" and that I "shouldn't drive and get them fixed ASAP" and was given a quote. I then took the car to my normal mechanic and my breaks are completely fine. The employee at jiffy lube went out of his way to show me the tool he used to measure and told his coworker "it's less than 1mm!" With a shocked look on his face. They also tried to upsell me on an engine filter replacement that had been replaced semi recently. Overall oil change was fine and fast. Just always get a second opinion. Price was average for what other oil change places are going for. read more

I would give this place 0 if I could. I got an oil change, the simplest thing, a few weeks ago. I have had to take my car back in 3 times since because my car continues to now leak oil. I called the store and spoke to the manager and he was hardly empathic and said he would call his manager to see what to do. The 'mechanic' who touched my car was Landen, all 3 times. Do not take your car here. This has been a nightmare and it's a brand new car and all I can think is they better not have ruined my vehicle!!!!! It was about $100 for an oil change with synthetic blend on a Kia Optima, with no extras? And now I have an oil leak! I definitely won't be going back. Had to have another shop tighten the oil drain plug to stop the oil from dripping. read more

I've been taking my Honda Pilot to Jiffy Lube since I bought it new in 2003. This location, for maybe the last 7 years or so. I recently bought a new car and haven't been driving the old Pilot as much. I noticed it was low on oil but I wasn't actually due for an oil change. So, I decided to finally take them up on their "free top off" service and see if it was truly that. Everyone couldn't have been nicer to me, despite me taking my car in for free service. I was shown into their waiting room and the guy asked if he could pour a cup of coffee for me. They filled up my wiper fluid and tires as well as 2 quarts of oil. Really great service all around and I was happy to see that top off really is free (I was wondering if they were going to try and up-sell me on something!). I have a fleet account & have been going to and bringing our 5+ vehicles to various Jiffy Lubes around Omaha for years. I have never encountered an issue until December. I had the oil changed on my Jeep on October 5th, 2022 and no problems. I had synthetic oil put in so it had a 5,000 mile change time. In December I went to drive it (it was a very cold day) and it sounded funny when it was running and I thought it might have been the cold causing it. I decided not to drive it out of our driveway & parked it in the garage. At this time, I am still 1,000 miles away from my next oil change according to the Jiffy Lube sticker. When I got up there was a big oil puddle under the Jeep. I checked the oil dipstick & it was completely dry so called a tow truck & had it towed to our mechanic. The mechanic shop was closed for the New Year so I wasn't able to get it in to them until early Jan. to look at. He said the oil was completely gone & the oil filter was loose. He also said since Jiffy Lube was the last one to touch it, they didn't want to touch it until JL looked at it. I called on Jan. 11th & the manager called me back the next day. I asked him to meet me at the mechanic's shop to look at it & he agreed to meet that day. The manager checked the oil filter & agreed it was loose. He tightened it & then put oil in it & started it to make sure it wasn't something else that caused the oil to leak. When he started it there was no oil spilling out but now the engine is knocking. When I asked the mechanic how we can fix the knocking, he said I would have to get a new engine. Keep in mind this is a new engine that only has 10,000 miles on it & had no issues prior to this, basically a brand new engine. The manager was very prompt & friendly. He took pics of everything & forwarded them to the manager above him since he couldn't make any decisions on this. He called me back on Jan. 12th to let me know to give it 2-3 business days & someone would reach out to me. I hadn't heard anything from Jiffy Lube and called back on January 18th to get a number for the next level of management. The local manager could not give me a direct number for someone to talk to and had to find an invoice to give me some 800 number from the back. I tried calling that number for 30 minutes and it was busy so I googled the national customer service number to call. When I called the national number, the rep asked me if I had a case # to reference which I didn't because the local manager did not have one to provide. The local manager said he just uploads it into a system and has no point of contact he can provide to me. So we had to create a case to get a case # and the rep said she would forward it to the franchise owner, Team Car Care West, LLC. She said to give it 3 days & reach back out if no one has contacted me. Nobody contacted me in those 3 days so I reached back out on Jan. 23rd to the national rep & they said they would send it to the franchise owner again & escalate it. I also called the local shop but the manager was not in so I had to leave a message. I did not hear from anyone in any way from Jiffy Lube the next day so I reached out again to the national rep and they said they will escalate it with a request for an update & forward it to Team Car Care West, LLC again. I also called the local shop & spoke with the manager. He sounded surprised nobody has contacted me yet but still said he is not allowed to give out the contact info for the manager above him. He said he will call him / her & forward the message and I should be hearing back. UPDATE: The claims guy Scott emailed on 2-16-23 that my claim is denied since I am past 3 months & 3,000 miles. Jiffy Lube sold me a more expensive synthetic oil change that is good for 5,000 miles. I am 1,000 miles under the recommended oil change & the issue happened in December (within 3 months). They are the pros that sold the 5,000 mile oil change to me but will not honor the recommended mileage interval. This is completely unacceptable and a horrible way to treat a loyal customer. read more

I went in for an oil change with a car I bought recently. Even though the sticker from the previous owner showed it was time for new oil, the serviceman let me know after looking at the dipstick that the oil was good for another thousand miles or more. Not only was he honest about my car not needing services yet, but the team also topped off my coolant and washer fluid for free and gave me a new sticker with the mileage at which they recommend I bring my car back in. I walked out for free with all this help. They were courteous, honest, and helpful, and I will certainly come back when I'm ready for that oil change. read more

Bad news: they forgot to put the oil cap back on the car after the oil change. I didn't notice until the next day. Good news: drove back, the manager refunded my money, purchased a new cap and had it delivered to the store within ten minutes, and apologized. So, no harm done, proper response, they've always been courteous and professional. Recommended. read more

Got my oil changed and a different business and saw that my oil light was still on so I thought I might stop by jiffy lube to see if they would check out my car for me. I was informed that the other business filled my car with the wrong oil and left me a quart short. Although it was pretty late they stayed open for me, to help me outa of this crappy situation I got put into. I can't say enough how much I appreciate chad and other the other workers their that night. Bad experience at this jiffy lube location. I went specifically to this location because they are the only ones that do tune ups. When I got there I told the guy that I wanted a tune up because my car was misfiring and I was sure it was the spark plugs. They refused to do it for me and told me to go somewhere else because that was not the issue without even checking my car. I told them that I didn't care about the issue that I just came here for a tune up and they still said no!! I ended up going to another mechanic that listened to a customer and turns out it was the spark plugs. Wasted my time going to this location read more

These guys are awesome. First time I ever went in there, I didn't have the money to do all the maintenance that they suggested; so they offered to keep it on the books and get to it next time. Well, next time was today. David Taylor is the gentlemen who worked with me, and he was fantastic, laid out everything that he recommended I get done, was patient and explained everything thoroughly, listened to problems that I felt needed to be fixed, gave me a total and then they got the work done. My radiator and transmission were both flushed, my oil changed, and my air conditioning fixed, all in under an hour! I had a gigantic list of all of these things that they did for me, and then, at the checkout, Mr. Taylor went through the coupon book and made sure I got the best deal possible. All of that work, for UNDER $400! I couldn't believe it! My car drives like a dream, I was treated well, the service was fast, and my car was so clean! They did a quick vacuum of the interior, wiped down my dashboard, and cleaned my windows! This JIffy Lube location will get all of my preventative car maintenance for as long as I live in Nebraska! They took the time to thoroughly vacuum my car, clean the windows, answer any questions I had, and told me about certain things that could be improved on my vehicle WITHOUT coming off as pushy. Took my fleet vehicle in for an oil change. Was so excited to see the fresh oil stain smeared into my light beige interior passenger seat. Upon questioning the appearance of the stain, it was denied by the only two people working at the store that morning. Interesting and total BS. Absolutely no accountability or any desire to make it right. A last begrudging resort was an offer to try and remove the stain using washer fluid. I obviously refused b/c I didn't need a blue seat. It says San Fransisco for some reason, but I'm in Omaha...was at the 144th/Maple location. I got an oil change here because I was overdue and couldn't get into our regular mechanic today. I agree with other reviews that the staff was friendly and the service quick. However, I have no recollection in the conversation with the technician to agreeing to new windshield wipers ($35 worth!!!!) and the oil was overpriced compared to our mechanic who usually does our oil changes. Also, the technician that talked with me, while she was sweet, wasn't completely sure on the exact price of the oil change either when she asked me what oil I wanted. She went through all that was done to my vehicle very quickly at the end, as well. I just felt things could have used a more detailed explanation and maybe a summary of what I had agreed to being done before they did it. Probably won't be going back here in a pinch. read more

I have to give them a bad review after the service I received with them. The employees were decent people, but the prices were unreasonable. About $60 for the cheapest oil change and they were trying to tell me I needed the $100 oil change. Just outrageous. I didn't argue and simply got the cheaper option, because my car was already prepped to be worked on. They however did not perform the full service that I paid for. They were supposed to vacuum and clean the windows. The guy couldn't even get the sticker to adhere to the windshield, because it needed to be cleaned. The only thing that would have prevented the bad review was them cleaning the car too. I feel that $30 would be reasonable for an oil change and cleaning. $60 is way too much. Then, I didn't get it cleaned. Now I have to wonder what else they failed to do as well. I'm not happy at all with this experience and I would tell potential customers to get it done somewhere else. read more
