I had the pleasure of meeting Matthew and Miguel at the 2111 Pine Ridge Rd Midas location. My Honda Odyssey just died while my wife and children were at the park. I was able to have it towed to this location today. While it was on its way to this Midas location, I was able to explain what I knew about what happened. Based on my statements, Matthew and Miguel were able to know which tests they had to run, even though the car had not even arrived yet. Once they had completed the tests, they called us to let us know what to expect going forward. I have been a loyal Midas customer since 2010 at 8080 Wiles Rd in Coral Springs, FL due to the amazing staff there under the management of Kyle and Yoel. The service and peace of mind I had there was second to none. My cars never had a problem and the team there always anticipated the potential problems so they never occurred. Now that my family and I moved here to the Southwest FL region, I am so happy that I found another Midas location. Matthew and Miguel did not disappoint. I could immediately see that they instill the same Midas values of honesty and integrity that I have come to rely upon all those years ago. As an example from today, my car's battery was completely dead due to a fan that kept running after the car was turned off. Turns out it was a defective relay switch that kept the power to the fan active even after the car was turned off - which ended up killing the battery. While my wife and I went to run some errands, Matthew took it upon himself to call around to his suppliers to find this relay switch which is a $75 part, instead of charging us the full $900 to replace the entire fan assembly. He could have easily done that and I would not have known the difference. But instead, he was calling on other suppliers to save me this cost. To me, that is going above and beyond. We did not even have to wait for that part to come in as he was able to find it locally and finished placing a new battery, replacing the defective switch, and getting the oil change done in the matter of a few hours. That was incredible. To anyone who may be new to the area or you don't have a mechanic that you trust, in my personal opinion, Midas offers the best service for the money and will likely be your best long-term option as they treat everyone fairly. This location has extremely high ratings. Matthew and Miguel took me physically into the shop area and showed me my tires which are worn and they explained that the tires would need to be changed soon. While I could not afford this today, he assured me that all I would need to do is call a day ahead and he would be able to replace all four tires next day. This tells me that they will only recommend items that are truly needed to keep your car running smoothly, and keep you and your family safe while driving it. I have been told in the past by Midas employees which items can wait, so they can tell you what is needed immediately, and what is not. This kind of trust will keep me as a loyal customer at the Pine Ridge Midas as long as I live here in Naples. I will be bringing my other car in for its next routine oil change and I will be recommending this location to family, friends and coworkers. To Matthew, Miguel and the entire crew at Midas, thank you for getting my vehicle back on the road and thank you for going above and beyond to save my family some money in the process! Patrons should be AVOID, IF AT ALL POSSIBLE! If there are other alternatives, choose them. They are only concerned with money! From the top down (specifically management-'Miguel' and Team Leader-Matt Koz), getting sensible, reasonable, responsible service and help is non-existent. Trusting these individuals to keep their word and do the right thing is also not a possibility. TRUST has to be near or at the top of the list when taking your vehicles to be serviced. I had to make an appointment for an oil change. I arrived five minutes early. It took one hour and forty minutes for work to be completed. Quite unacceptable . Do not use Midas for oil changes. read more

I brought my vehicle into Midas because my brakes needed attention. After dropping my vehicle off, Oscar called and gave me a price over the phone to replace the rear brake pads and rotors as well as replace the front brake pads. I authorized the work verbally over the phone, agreeing to the price for the four brake pads and rear rotors. Later, I received a phone call from someone else stating that the vehicle was ready, and that the rear brake pads and rotors were completed. When I inquired about the front, I learned that nothing was done on the front. Wait what? What happened to the front? The price I agreed to was for all four brake pads and rear rotors, not just the rear. In my follow up calls with Oscar, I found him to be rude and condescending. Oscar stated that there was a recording of the phone call available but not until the following day because there was no manager available My advice is to avoid this shop at all costs. Repair shops like this contribute to the negative reputation that repair shops have earned. read more

My family has gone to Midas for years. Matt, the owner, is very honest and a great person. His shop does exceptional work; we have never had a complaint about the quality of the repairs. In addition, he always finds ways to save us money. My Jaguar annual service was $1500 at the dealership. It was $350 at Matt's shop. My son had scratches/dents on his car. After going to several autobody shops the least he could find to repair was $3,000. Matt referred him to someone who did it for $1,000. My husband has a truck that needed new tires and at the same time wanted to give it a "cooler" look. While it wasn't cheap to get all-new "cool" tires it was less than I thought and the look of my husband's truck is transformed. Lastly, there is a charity we are involved in called "Feed thy neighbor" which delivers meals to the needy. Matt did repairs on their car for free. I'm leaving this review because yesterday my battery died at 3:00 pm on a Saturday. I called and asked if they could repair it I had it towed there. I got the same person on the phone that I always do (Oscar or Matt) and he said no problem. They give personalized service that you can trust. I hate that someone left them a bad review. Place is a rip off. Quoted me $726 for an alternator that I found online for $120 then told me the car wouldn't start in the bay and id have to get it towed out of there. Temperature warnings came on in my son's car on the Saturday of the 4th of July weekend. Murphy's Law - my son needed to head back school. The shop was fully committed. However, they squeezed me in to resolve the issue. While I was there, they even let me do an oil change at their crazy advertised price, which I'm sure they lost on... While I was there, they also squeezed in a small business man who unfortunately just had his catalytic converter stolen off his box truck. They guy next to me in the waiting room had come in for brakes. They told him to come back in 10,000 more miles. Regardless, he opted to do the brakes while he was there and he raves about their honesty. Matt and his wife, Kelly, took over this location two years ago. Man, let me tell you, I've gone to my fair share of sketchy mechanics. These guys absolutely knocked it out of the park. I took my corvette in due to brake squeaking, didn't really know why it was happening. Within 15 minutes they had the car lifted, wheels off, and issue diagnosed. With no appointment. One of the technicians took me into the shop and showed me the cause, explained how and why it happens, and told me that no work needed to be done. I was not charged a diagnostic fee, not even asked to sign a piece of paper. Within 20 minutes of pulling into the parking lot I was on my way home with knowledge, no less money in my pocket, and the confidence of knowing I finally found a reputable repair shop. My thermostat malfunctioned on a Saturday morning on my way to work. I pulled over, and had antifreeze blowing out and steam coming out from under the hood. I was stuck and had to wait for the engine to cool hoping to get to an open and nearby auto service. Miguel at Midas said "we are busy but bring it over we'll take a look at it and do what we can." I said I appreciated it and showed up. Miraculously those guys got my truck into a bay, acquired the thermostat, replaced it for me and had me back on the road to work by early afternoon!!! read more

Honest people, highly recommended My car brakes were making a squealing noise when I reversed in the morning. I took the car to Tires Plus to get it checked out. I dropped the car off. Tires Plus called me three hours later to tell me my front brakes are down to 1mm and need to be changed ($550). I could still see the brake pads on the front without taking the wheels off so I was suspicious. I went to Midas to get a second opinion. They check the brakes for free. They charged me nothing. They showed me there is still 10mm on the brake pads and said the squeal in mornings is probably just some rust build up from overnight condensation. I have been using Midas on Pine Ridge for almost 5 years for maintenance and repairs and have always been treated with respect. The quality of workmanship is always good and the mechanics are very knowledgeable and honest. They always alert me about any upcoming sales on tires or whatever else I may need in the near future. I can't say enough about this Midas in particular. Miguel Garcia is the general manager and he took care of me and my car. I was blown away with his professionalism and upmost dedication to his craft. It's a shame I don't live in this area because this Midas would've had a life long customer with customer service like that. I got my car checked out and Miguel tried his hardest to accommodate me and kept me informed and up to date every step of the way. I truly felt he cared about getting me back on the road and that he did. I wasn't able to fully complete all repairs at this shop due to my own constraints but when I finally did, I was able to verify this Midas was able to tell me exactly what was wrong with my car. Absolutely the worst service in Midas Naples - I had my breaks and rotors changed less than two years ago and they were squeaking the entire time. The owner (Matt) told me that it would be normal for them to squeak for up to a year. Well, 1.5 years passed, I came to the store, asking to have this fixed. The technician (Daniel) was pretending that he could not find any record that I have done any work there. Only after I produced the receipt for over $500 work done, immediately he was able to pull up all my work. Miguel, the manager, was extremely condensending and patronizing, slamming his hands on the counter the moment I challenged the quality of their work. Miguel was the same on a phone, extremely combative and not trying to help. He has zero concept of customer service. When I asked to talk to the owner, Matt, as he was the one who told me that squeaking is normal for up to a year, they pretty much mocked me, refused to get me to talk to him and made me wait over an hour as he was supposed to come to the office. After an hour of waiting, Miguel tells me that Matt won't be coming and the best they can do is replace the brakes but still charge me for labor. The whole experience is extremely disappointing and discouraging. Absolutely doesn't leave one with a desire to ever come back to any Midas nor recommended to friends/family and definitely not the one in Naples. Shame on the owner for not training his staff basic customer service skills and not doing the job right the first time. read more

THE WORST EVER!!! A CON ARTIST AND THIEF..... Had a coupon for $49.99 synthetic oil change,tire rotation.I calledfirst to make sure coupon was ok,he said yes. He charges me almost $70.00 so I questioned the bill. Oh oil filter is not included and you take 5.7 quarts so it is an add'l.$8.95 for oil. I produced coupon showing filter included he now says yes but I take a special filter(never ever happened before).I get home he never rotated the tires so had to go back. Decided to ck oil level and he never put in the extra quart so I had to purchase and put in myself,i refused to go back again. That manager should be fired! Thanks to Kai & Matt my car now sounds the way I was looking for it to sound. After attempting to get my car worked on at the local Ford store and a few other local shops I decided to try Midas. Like I previously stated the local Ford store wouldn't return my calls and the couple other shops just looked disheveled making me hesitant to have work done there. After researching places to take my car for a brake inspection, I chose Midas. I had 60,000 original miles on these brakes and had every intention of having to replace them. Within 15 minutes the technician and manager came out and said I was good to go, and that I still had over 50 % of brake pad left. I am so thankful for their honesty!
