CUSTOMER REVIEW!!! I went into Midas here in Cheyenne to get a routine oil change and the end result was them incorrectly performing the maintenance causing me to go get it fixed two days later. I went in on Saturday, drove to Denver and back, and then Sunday night my car started making a rattling noise and my oil light began to flash. I went straight home and checked underneath the hood and my engine was smoking and my oil had completely drained out of my car. Turns out, they poked multiple holes in my oil filter with pliers which led to my car to be completely drained of oil. I obviously took it to a different mechanic to get the cost of damages and report of what caused my car to stop running properly because I read other people's experience of oil shops like Midas trying to beat around the bush and blame the customer for a damaged engine. I went into Midas to respectfully ask for a refund and reimbursement for the damages because I refused to pay for something that a "professional" should be able to perform without mistakes. I was very respectful going in, however, Tyler at Midas was very condescending and rude. Midas was persistent and tried telling me that my 2015 car required full synthetic oil (when I know you don't have to use synthetic oil if you haven't in the past), so at that point I got the idea they are only out to get your money. He told me that "I wasn't going to get a free oil change" and since "he wasn't the one to perform the oil change" it wasn't his fault. He proceeded to tell me that it's their policy to only give refunds if I brought my damaged car back to Midas to assess the problem. I informed him that no person in their right mind would bring their car back to the shop that caused major damage in the first place. I am waiting to receive information on whether or not my engine is cracked or damaged in any way possible. I think it's important for me to let everyone know that this company only cares about money and is very disrespectful when it comes to customer service. My boyfriend and friends have been very loyal customers to Midas, however, after this days' worth encounter, none of us will be using their services and to everyone else I recommend you do your own check after ANY service they perform to make sure they performed it correctly. I also read other reviews from this specific Midas and Tyler has been rude and treated customers poorly in the past, so I recommend speaking to someone with a little more respect. At this point it's not about the money that I missed out on, it's about the principle of the situation and how poorly I was treated. I had to reach out to corporate to get this situation handled appropriately and am very upset about how Tyler treated me and the poor customer service I received. read more

My wheel bearing went out in my truck and when I talked to Ronnie he said to bring it in and they would look at it when the figured out the whole problem they got right on it and had it in and out in about an hr and a half they did a great job and I'd highly recommend them they are friendly and they get the job done... I've been using this shop since 2011 for all auto repair and auto related issues. The people at this shop do their best to explain things and if you don't ask, then that is not their fault. I've traveled these United States and lived in many places, they are the best I've found for repair work to your vehicle, whether it be an oil change or whatever it be. There have been times, I just knew something was off with the way my vehicle was driving and they got to the bottom of the problem. First, the customer service is OUTSTANDING!!! Secondly, their ability to understand what you want to get done is great!! Now before you think me a mechanic type, I'm not. Up until recently, I was a widow. I am always treated with politeness and respect. Of course, that is how I'm going to treat someone who I want to do their best on my vehicle, just saying. So if you're looking for an honest shop who cares about doing their best to get your vehicle up and running, then look no further. The owner contacted me again after a previous issue I had with my oil change. He addressed my concern and went the extra mile, which was greatly appreciated and deserving of the 5 stars. Customer service is lacking much these days and his service went beyond the standard. I went to Midas Speedee center behind the Boot Barn on Dell Range for my next service. It was quick, friendly, and thorough. I highly recommend going there for your routine oil changes - best oil change place in town. read more

Amazing! These guys have experienced mechanics and great service. I was driving across country and had to stop because my engine wasn't working right. Midas found out what the issue was in good time, ordered my parts from Denver and got me back on the road SAME DAY! The waiting room is clean and comfy with big leather couches, flat screen tv, complimentary teas and coffee and magazines. The manager/front desk was really thorough with explains the problem and was very fair with us about his pricing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! We rolled into town with grinding brakes, heading to the east coast, hauling a trailer, at 6:00pm. We called Midas at 6:15 and they told us to come over right away, even though their closing time was 7:00. We got there and met Tyler, who got his team going immediately, did an inspection and informed us that we needed new brake rotors and pads - and they would be willing to stay until they were done. They got parts from Napa, fixed the brakes, and changed the oil and filter, and we were out the door by 8:30pm. Tyler kept us informed of progress and was considerate of us being out-of-towners passing through on a tight schedule. We were very pleased with his Midas touch! Took my 2009 Expedition to Midas in Cheyenne, WY, They did not tighten the oil plug. Lost the majority of the oil out of the engine. Had to (on a Sunday) get a shop to look at it so that I could make it home. Took it too my home Repair Shop here in Cheyenne. Compression in the engine was not where it was supposed to be. Called Midas, they asked that I take it down to them. Which I have done, The Manager at the Linconway Midas, Told me I don't know what I am talking about , Also told my BF he didn't know what he was talking about. Told me that my mechanic doesn't know what he is talking about. "You can't lose compression from losing oil" I have all the documentation from the 1st shop and from my shop here in town as to the facts. Midas is refusing to do anything to repair the damage that was caused by their incompetent employees. The manager told me that he had looked under it and there was nothing wrong, My BF went in after that to get the Vehicle and the manager told him he had not even had a chance to look at it. Two different stories, not willing to stand up for their employee's mistake. I now have a lawyer so that I can get my vehicle fixed. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE IF YOU WANT TO HAVE IT RUNNING. The Manager at the Lincolnway store was so RUDE, and treated my like S!#%$ He didn't seem to care about the issue that his company had casued. Passed the buck onto someone else. read more

I was a little skeptical about the staff as there were only 3 people on staff and one was obviously a trainee. Well of course the trainee was working on my car. But to my surprise they were very friendly and quick. As I sat in the lobby and watched it appeared they were thorough as well and did a good job. They honored my $5 yelp coupon even though I couldn't get my app to properly. This was the third or fourth time I've visited this location and as of now, I would return for oil changes without any more concern than I would have taking my care anywhere. I have been to this Midas twice and they don't seem to care about appointments or people. I hade my old station wagon exhaust done there. I told them as I was restoring it, it didn't have the tailgate window in so I wanted to schedule it early it the day. I scheduled a day and was told it would be early. After dropping it off at 7 a.m., I called them around noon and it was still not in, they got to it at 3 pm, done around 5. Now this morning, I had an appointment, talked with Ronnie earlier in the week, at 7 a.m. to check a loose tailpipe, not a big thing. The person opening the store got there 6 minutes late, shouldn't be late running a business, but didn't really bother me. I told him I had an appointment at 7, he found it written down for 8. I drive about 10 miles to get there. I asked what time can it get in then and the guy smiled and snickered, at 8. I said no thanks and left. Two times of this is enough. There are places to get things done, Midas will never be one of them now! I don't know what appointments are for at this store? read more

I was exceptionally satisfied with my service at the local Midas of Cheyenne Wyoming. Brad was helpful and patient in explaining the issues that had gone wrong with our car. On a long cross country road trip this could have ruined what was an awesome family vacation but in stead we were back on the road within two hours. Brad was very professional, trustworthy and had clear expertise in his profession.
