    Late this past summer, our mother in law was involved in a serious accident. The truck that hit…read moreher, smashed the passenger side door and cracked the quarter panel, and pushed the A-pillar in several inches. Mother was shaken and in pain for months, and the kids that hit her had no insurance! I took our 2000 Dodge Dakota to several big name collision repair centers and they had huge estimates and seemed uninterested and were obviously just in business to gouge insurance companies. One conversation with Gary, and I knew I had finally found the right shop. First off, Gary's shop is clean, there's not a bunch of junk and garbage all over the place. Also, Gary himself took care of us from start to finish. His estimate was entirely fair and nearly HALF of what the others were charging for the same work! We picked up our Dodge today and WOW! I can't believe it's the same truck that barely crawled onto his lot. He and his team did an amazing job, matching the paint, replacing the passenger door, repairing the fender, the trim etc. The truck was washed, vacuumed and even smelled nice. I wish I could give him 6 stars. Gary, if you read this, thank you so much!

We were on I80 just passed through late afternoon when engine light came on, 15 miles out of town we turn around and my wife contacted them. They said bring it in and we can check it out for you. They diagnose our truck and told us that they couldn't work on it until the following week, but if we can't wait we would still can drive our truck and in a slower drive. He assured us that we would be able to make it to our destination if we take easy on the truck and we did. They didn't charge us for anything and told us have a safe trip. My family are forever grateful for their professionalism and great customer service. I would highly recommend this business to anyone. Mahalo and Thank you

While they…read morewere getting body work done that the insurance "preferred" shop said was unnecessary, I asked them to replace the battery in my Subaru. To my surprise, they called and said it really only needed a good charge and would probably last a couple more years . My F-150 mysteriously refused to start and I had it towed to them. They did diagnostics and found a really expensive fix, then found online that many people had the same issue and it came down to an inexpensive fuse that went bad. Six months later, it still runs like a top for $50 instead of the $1,500 they could have charged. I've recommended them to several friends and family members and heard the same type of stories from them. They are a decent bunch of folks who live up to the Golden Rule.

I wonder if they wouldn't be booked out so far in advance if they had one iota of professionalism or communication skills? I took my car in on the original Monday of the appointment that had been scheduled for months. They told me the parts had not arrived yet. Wouldn't you think with all that time, the parts would be waiting to be installed? Once they got my vehicle in, they had it for over 5 weeks. Throughout this entire process, nobody from Halladay reached out to me. I had to call them to get any sort of updates. Two weeks after taking the car in, they discovered additional damage behind the bumper that wasn't evident from the outside. So then we were once again stuck waiting for parts to arrive. Eventually the adjuster at Halladay responsible for my car began to email me, but only after I would call the front desk and ask to talk to her. She had always "just stepped out" or "was in the break room" so could never talk. A few minutes later I would get an email with an update. One of her emails was very rude. When I finally went to pick up my vehicle, two of the pieces were still broken! One of the headlights had apparently never been replaced. They had the new one still sitting in the back. And they installed a broken grill. So, they had to order parts again and finally a week later the whole repair was finished. Overall, my experience with Halladay Collision Center was terrible and I would never recommend them to anyone.

Then, last week, they told us the parts have finally arrived and the car would be done mid-week this week. Note that they did not say SOME of the parts came and that they were still waiting on others. They specifically said all the parts were in AND took it so far as to say the car would be done the following week. Well, that time comes and we are now told they are waiting on parts with no remote idea of when they'll be in, therefore no remote estimate on when the car will now be done. This place has to be the single worst business I have ever dealt with when it comes to communication. Do yourself a favor and do not take your vehicle here unless it is an ABSOLUTE last resort, and even then I would think twice about it.
