I took 2 rims in that I needed to purchase tires to be mounted on them. Treall met me at the door and was very polite and courteous. They did not have the tire size in stock but were able to order them to have the next day. He told me it would be late afternoon the next day before they would be ready, 8:00 the next morning I get a call from Treall that they have the tires in and would call me when they were ready for pickup. Update: bought four tires the tech recommended. After two years, three literally exploded while driving the highway, while still under warranty. After the first one, I went in to get it replaced and was told I drove it flat, it didn't explode. The manager eventually contacted me and verified that exploding while driving at high speeds (highway) can easily look like it was driven flat. They replaced it. Two more exploded while traveling out of state. I went elsewhere to have them all replaced. Big O wouldn't do anything when contacted. Wouldn't recommend. They used to be great. I have no idea when they started being like this. Sad. Only giving two stars because they had earlier worked with me to get my son's car in and back, going above and beyond. read more

In general the people that work there are fairly efficient and they work to get you in quickly. Tire prices were very reasonable. Balancing and rotation is included for the life of the tire. My major concern is that when I had a vibration in the tire which I purchased from them and which they warrantee, they rotated and balanced repeatedly actually three times but it didn't fix it. And they were not near a highway so they would not drive it to get the vibration to appear. They basically said take it to the dealership. We have done everything we can do. I took it to their competitor down the street. They did a force balance on all the tires Which is state of the art and made the vibration go away. I feel that big O Needs to do a better job with the more difficult issues which are tire related. read more

This place is great; every time I stop in the staff are friendly and helpful. I always quickly get my needs met for a price that compares with any other shop in town. The difference here is I'm recommended tires that fit my needs and my concerns are addressed. I've bought many tires and come in for repairs at times, in and out without a waste of time. I had to get a warranty tire repair/replacement on a fleet vehicle at the East Lincoln location in Cheyenne WY, which probably wasn't the easiest or most convenient thing to do. The manager who, I believe, was filling in at that location for the day (Jason?) was very, very helpful despite being completely flooded and overwhelmed with customers that morning. I went in there today to get help with my daughters tire the guys went above and beyond the guy behind the counter I needed 1 lug nut said I got u covered don't worry about. I figured we would change out the other 4 also I was willing to pay for them but they didn't have them so they got the guy from oreillys across the street to bring over 4 of them . I saw their invoice that they brought over it was 29 something and I called oreillys and they said the charge 4.99 a piece I know when u do that there's a up charge but 9.88 a piece and charging me for the one that I wasn't going to get charged for in the first place with a total to me of 56.55 and this is my daughter having to pay for this who is a CNA working hard for her money. Here's the diff between a small town and a big town. I've been hauling around my snow tires the past few days trying to find a place to switch them. I usually go to Firestone in Boulder where I bought them, but couldn't get in until October 21st or drop off my car and see if they get around to it. I was in Cheyenne and took it to Big O after my meeting. The guy on the phone said to bring it in, the wait is 30 minutes. While waiting, I sat next to an older couple. The guy had on a Korean and Vietnam war cap. He was a POW in Nam. His little dog was a stray he said was rescued from living in a barn for five years, "He's still a little grouchy, the dog doesn't get along with the wife." She drives, he rides shotgun with the dog. The reason I know this, I pulled in and had to back up for a beat up stock car on a trailer and the woman nearly crashed into me. Honnnkkk! He and his wife have been in Cheyenne for 16 years and I was only the second native he'd met. Out of the blue he asked me about Trump. I imagine he figured I must be a Trump supporter. "I don't like to talk politics in Wyoming", I said. He went on to explain he worked with Fred Trump, "He used to shake his head and say, 'I don't know what to do with that boy (referring to POTUS).'" "He's been trying," was my non-committal utterance. "Everybody's a little different," was his noncommittal musing on his way to pay for the oil change. Political small talk. I was next. The wait was actually 45 minutes, but who's counting. Big O normally charges $20 to change tires not bought there. The mechanic shook my hand and sent me on my way. Very disappointed, I am generally happy with these guys but I sent my niece in to have her brakes looked at and they tried to charge her $50 just to looking at her brakes and when she refused to pay it they told her they were going to hold her car until she paid the bill. My husband and I got our truck serviced here as we were traveling through. Don't know how this happened but we lost 2 of our lug nuts from our tire, the 3rd one was loose, the other three were also loose. I called them numerous times to talk to the manager and I was put on hold or he was going to call me back. I spoke to a Justin and Bryan. Yesterday, 17 Aug, I was waiting for some service to be finished, which wasn't even started after I was told it would be done by now, and I heard a salesman explaining transmission service and terms to A CUSTOMER, and he said "UNLESS YOU DRIVE LIKE A RETARD", and then laughing his apology for not being PC, and the customer said he didn't mind. I DID MIND! I had a mentally challenged brother who died 10 years ago from cancer. I still miss him so much to this day. What kind of customer service person blurts out such a bulling term, and a customer that laughs with him?!?! I was so infuriated I got my stuff back and left! Big O on Lincolnway has always taken great care of me. I went in the other day because I had a slow leak in a tire. They checked it out and found a screw causing damage that couldn't be repaired. Since my tires were worn pretty thin I elected to get new ones. I even got a 10% military discount! While putting the new tires on one of my wheels was slightly damaged; the sales associate came & got me, showed me the damage, and informed me that the manager had been notified and that they would contact Nissan and get me a new wheel. These guys are awesome! Thanks Gary Stecks for your outstanding customer service! Okay, it's been several weeks and many phone calls later. The new wheel finally came in; when I showed up I was told I'd have to wait for 3 other vehicles. Normally I wouldn't mind waiting my turn but after spending $1000 and having my vehicle damaged I was incensed. I spoke to Justin who completely understood and hooked me up! Thanks Justin! Took my car in to have service on a tire. Was told that I needed some new belts. I ask if that would take care of the noise it was making and they said yes. So the next day I dropped off at 730am for a service that would take 1 1/2 hours. I called at 1230 since I had not heard from them. Went to pick it up tech said that it had oil leak. Does not know where location of leak. I said well it took care of noise. He said no the total is $$$. They take advantage of people. Just a fair warning that they will rip you off. Don't go to this location. Wrote a complaint to corporate and got a call today saying I can bring car in and they can fix it. I made an appt to have new tires placed on my vehicle, specifying what type and size. I was told upon arrival my appt couldnt be honored, I would need to leave vehicle overnight, so I made arrangements to get picked up. I received call next day that vehicle was ready. Upon arrival I noticed the wrong size of tires had been mounted. Brian argued with me that the same size had been put on that were taken off, I had to take him to the vehicle and show him the door sticker and old tires before he'd believe me. Further the tire size that had been mounted on the vehicle clearly state on the Big O website they are NOT rated for the type of vehicle they were put onto. Brian agreed to swap them out right away, but we ended up having to come back 3 times, an hour or more apart until Justin stepped in and finally got things back on track and fixed for us. Had I not noticed, driven off in the vehicle and gotten into an accident because unsafe/incorrect tires were mounted, I'm curious what the liability of your business would be. People trust your personnel to do the job well, and there is a sign when customers walk in the door about trust. It doesnt seem like the business stands behind that claim. I didnt receive so much as an apology for wasting my time or possibly endangering my family. How many other customers drive off the lot and dont notice these oversights? read more

My truck was there to get aligned 3 times, techs could not follow simple instructions and had no knowledge of aligning a heavy duty truck. They did not tighten jam nuts sufficiently let alone bend the washers over the nut on both sides to stop the jam nut from spinning. I reiterated multiple times I drive my truck on dirt roads for work, it sees a lot of bumps and vibrating yet there I was taking it back to them 3 seperate times and all 3 times they failed to follow simple instructions on a service they should be 100% familiar and trained in. I then proceeded to try the Yellowstone store. They overall seeemed to do a better job. Until I got to work the next morning and by lunch time my steering wheel was 90degrees to the left. I look under and while they tried they at least had one tab bent over for the washer to hold the jam nut in place. But only one, it does no good if it's not bent over on both sides. So for the 4th time, big o disappointed. If you guys are going to perform services on vehicles that you aren't familiar with or not sure what to do. At least be honest. Tell me that you think you got it but you are unsure and have me come look at it before the vehicle leaves the shop. You guys really need honesty and integrity and proper training in services you guys are unfamiliar with. Very let down all the way around with y'all and will never take any of my vehicles back. Let alone let others know about my experience I use my truck for work so I really did not have the time let alone afford to miss out of money just to take my vehicle back multiple times for a simple service that should have been completed properly the first time. What a joke. If you aren't sure if something ask, if you don't know what the fuck your doing, ask. Simple. I really deserve a refund on what I paid for considering it's still not right and once again I had to waste time out of my day to correct your guys mistake I paid you for! Terrible. read more

Big O Tire on Yellowstone in Cheyenne, WY is clean and you receive pretty good customer service from front desk. But, we asked for an oil change during a tire rotation. About 700 miles away from Cheyenne, in Texas the oil filter blew off the car while passing a huge semi. Immediately all of the lights on the dash board came on. The car shut down and could not be started again. Thank God I was not hit by the Semi, we had AAA and I was able to be towed 89 miles to Amarillo, TX. The place where the car was taken immediately took the pan on the bottom side of the vehicle off. The oil filter was sitting in a pool of oil. Oil was everywhere. It had not been put on properly. Unfortunately, the engine seized and was totally damaged. Big O Tire immediately sent us to their insurance company when the damage was rated at over $10,000.00. Sadly, we have not heard from Big O Tire with an apology or "how is everything going?" or nothing. We have since spoken to several people and they have given us horror stories about Big O Tire. The main problem they have had is with lug nuts. They have not been tightened properly. One friend even said their spare tire was exchanged for a damaged one and another they thought their vehicle was being lubed but it was not. Our advice, even though a shop is clean and the people are nice. We would recommend you never do business with Big O Tire unless you plan to double check everything you ask them to do. read more

These guys have a customer for as long as I live in Cheyenne. I needed my brakes looked at because they felt like they were getting soft. They took my car right in, looked at it, and told me I still had some distance yet to go before I needed new brakes. For the fact that they were honest with me, I also went there and bought 4 new Michelin tires. Trying to find them in a size for my Suzuki Forenza was fun, but they gave me one size up, and my car has driven flawlessly ever since. They are good honest people, and the service is awesome! In my opinion, this is the only place to get tires in Cheyenne, and I will continue to take my cars here. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. My fiancé and I were traveling cross country when we unexpectedly got a flat tire. We were told to head here to get the flat repaired - seemed simple enough for $15. We waited about an hour (which they had been open about and said it would take that long as they were busy) and were then told the work was complete. We were told there was a nail in the tire and that they filled it and we should be good. So we went on our way. About an hour on I-80 and the tire was flat again. So we called the company to see if they could put a refund in for the tire repair and they said "they'd work on it" and did not really seem to care about the horrible job they did. We drove three hours to Salt Lake City on a donut since we were staying there and everything else was closed at that point. We went to another Big Os the next day and we found out the tire was never actually patched, there was no nail in the tire but a hole on the side which is unrepairable under Big O regulations, and all the Cheyenne location did was seal the tire to the rim again which was not the problem at all and why the tire was flat again within less than an hour. I'm not sure if they mixed us up with another patron there or what but all the information given us at this location was highly incorrect. Thankfully the location in Salt Lake refunded us and gave us a great deal on a new tire. But I'd suggest really being sure you're getting the correct information at this location as we clearly did not. And if you have the option which we really did not, I would suggest not going here. read more

Wow!!! They really do go the extra mile to satisfy their customers. I literally just got a "Thank You Text!" Stating that I will have a reminder text of my next oil change. "And I did!" I already left happy yesterday when I they understood my disagreement on switching out a headlight at $57. So they worked on the price by working faster and cutting labor cost in half. I mean really, I'm too short to fix my own head light and they wanted to charge me almost $60. I was snowing & my husband works 7/12's no time to help his wife. I honesty feel like I can't trust mechanics due to the fact that they charge labor and rack up their convenience of things. Consumers are not back there timing them. Therefore we are stuck in situation to have trust. So I was so happy with the price adjustment and their understanding to my point. Wow! A place that listens...Although I do need to go back now because our truck is making a weird clicking noise. Go figure. All I can do is have faith that it's not one thing after another with type of mechanic scandals. I wish mechanics had cameras on them and while we are in the waiting room we feel connected. Other places have messed it up for nice places like here. The best part about their customer service was how they went over the bill with me before working on my truck. I have to go back due to that clicking noise. And that's okay because I feel happy visiting them again. Way to build trust without having cameras on you! Came into the shop around 3:45 pm. I was the ONLY customer at that time. I brought in a flat tire which they said was ruined and would need to be replaced. Employee called the Big O shop located off of Yellowstone Road. They said that they had the tire my vehicle needed at that shop and they would have it delivered right away. I sat there while 11 customers came and went several bought brand new tires for their entire vehicle. At 15 minutes to closing (6 pm), my ONE tire finally arrived. To the employee's credit, he did periodically call the other store and was assured each time that the tire was on its way. At one point, I even offered to go get the tire myself, but was assured that it was on the way. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!! read more

Went to Big 0 to get 2 lug nuts replaced because they broke them when they rotated my tires I went at 10 Justin asked if I could come back at 2 ok no problem went back at 2 I got my vehicle finally done around 520 he kept taking mechanic off my vehicle to do some one else's so I was wondering why they would treat me like that? Yesterday I sent my 18 year old daughter in to Lincolnway to get tires by herself thinking I could trust them to help her get the right tires for her Honda and an oil change. She asked them for the price so she could be ready. The car was there all afternoon and finally she had to get a ride to go to work. They called at 6:15 to get payment which was $100 more than what they told her. I had my mother-in-law drive it to her work. When we got to her work I got out to look & I noticed the tires looked really big. I got in & looked at the invoice & the tire size on the door and they did not match, because they are bigger!! My other daughter just had spinal fusion, so I just sent her with the hope of the same integrity I never had to worry about with Doyle & his team. Guess I will not do that again! If I could give negative stars as a review I would!! I took my vehicle to this location requesting new tires, front and rear brake repair, an oil change and an overall tune up. I waited all day for my vehicle and came back to the location at closing. I was told that my car was ready. Unbeknownst to me, my vehicle was no where near completed. They test drove the vehicle yet failed to mention that it is now misfiring, would not go above 30 MPH, the steering wheel shakes and every light you can imagine was flashing on my dashboard. At that time, I was told there was nothing they could do. Upon my arrival home (which I barely made), I immediately called the store only to be told that I would have to bring it back on Monday and they would have someone look at it. So until Monday, I have a car that may or may not work and god only knows what damage was done during my drive home. They knew what the problems were with my vehicle yet they still let me drive off the lot with it. Monday morning, I bring the vehicle back. I had to call repeatedly to find out the status. Finally I am told that it is done. In reviewing the paperwork, my oil change was not completed the Saturday that I was there so I had to remind them to get that done. Due to them having me drive home with my car, my alignment needed to be redone as well. When I finally talked to them, they told me the reason my car was misfiring was because they put the spark plugs in wrong. I was shocked to hear this as I would think that if you are going to change spark plugs you would know how to put them in correctly. I never knew they had done anything to the spark plugs until after they had already started working on it. I never authorized anything until they told me that they were going to fix the spark plugs but they made it sees as if this would be free of charge. In reading my statement, I was charged for them. On top of that, my front brakes were not done as they refused to fix the front brakes as they still had 30% life left despite the fact that they were making a loud screeching noise. I instead was told they wouldn't work on them and that they would last another 2-3 months. Why would I come back in two to three months for something that I am asking for now? Since they refused to do it, now my brakes are worse than ever and I have to find someone to work on them. I ended up going to the other location only to be told yes they needed done. So someone please explain to me why this wasn't done when I was in this location? I was told that I got a discount for the work done. What exactly was discounted? I had a lot of work that I asked to be completed and yet still wasn't done correctly. I still paid an awful lot of money for poor service. The staff was nice to deal with and knew that I was upset, but more could have been done to help my situation and not one person went above and beyond to correct what they admitted was their mistake in the first place. read more
