The most rude customer service I have ever experienced a I took my car here for a brake repair had a schedule he told me I was late and proceeded to seem irritated with me so I left and thank god found the brake shop that did the repair for more than half the price. Never, never finance your repair bill through Midas. They use a company called EZ Pay. I had an emergency repair back in April, it was over 2600.00. I had to finance 1160.00 through EZ Pay, they are over 149. % interest. Per. contract, that interest rate would not kick in until Oct, six months after repair. I made payments well over 150.00 per month, tonight I was going to pay them off at 258.00. I find out they started the percentage and I was being charged 2.00 a day in interest. My payoff was 501.00, instead of 258.00. Even though I will be in debt for the next two weeks, I paid them off. The mob could take lessons from Midas and their finance company. read more

After going to the dealer where I purchased my car to have some warranty work done I asked for a quote for my brakes and I thought it was way too high for just front brakes. My stepson had a recent repair here after I gave him the address. Because it was close to our house and after he had his service he said he had a great experience there so I decided since I needed the brakes after checking back with the dealership on the price and no negotiation. I said might as well check them (Midas) check them out. I work day business hours so I get off at 5 o'clock so by the time I get out there on Friday would probably be close to closing time which it was we got there at 6 o'clock and the doors were closed but they open the shop and took the car in and they were so nice John and David. so I asked if they could provide an estimate the next morning. Decided to try this place out as i was trying to find a new shop as the last one toyed me around and made me pay way to much for essentially nothing. When i came in i was told my oil change would take a few hours as they had a few call offs that day. i work in the food industry so by all means i get that call offs happen. from the looks of it they had one guy (from what i saw) taking care of these vehicles, which i believe was the manager. Just from watching him work and move around the shop i could tell he knew what he was doing and was very familiar with his shops layout (a organized shop is an efficient shop). had a previous oil change, when I went to do one on my own 6 months later, could not get oil filter off. I stopped by, Kyle told me to bring up car, that they would put my own filter on, and top off lost oil. I brought car up , Dillan stated there would be a $30.00 fee! Bottom line is they lied, Do not trust this place, they are incompetant. DO not message me back to call, that you would like to resolve problem. You had your chance. I've gone to this particular Midas over a dozen times, primarily because of its location. I've always gotten an oil change and unfortunately have always been greeted with a smug, condescending, seemingly, annoyed attitude from of all people, the face of the business, the store manager, JOHN... Today I called to voice a concern, took at the very least 5 minutes to give my account; only to be greeted with the reply "well, what do you want me to do?" Feeling no resolve, I then asked for the District Manager's phone number. Although he provided the number, it was an incorrect number (I wrote and verified the number twice with him). I then spoke with Jeremy (the District-Manager), his demeanor was of the polar opposite. He was respectful, compassionate, and engaging. One's delivery and respect goes a long way... Needless to say, I'd rather drive 20 miles out of my way for the exact service, than deal with a MANAGER who is TOTALLY unappreciative of the customer. read more
