This was a nice and pain free process. I just simply showed up to drop off my damaged rim, and within a few hours I got a call explaining the needed repair. The next day I came back and the wheel looked good as new. Very happy with the service and the customer service. Will be back for sure as these Cleveland pot holes are brutal! Some things to note: 1. No American Express 2. They don't mount the wheel for you. You either drop it off, or have your local mechanic sent it over there. I also think they do some pick up for some local dealers (skip the middle man, and just head here!) 3. Sometimes they aren't there because they are driving around picking up rims from other shops. This place was a life saver! I hit an awful pothole about a week ago and not only did my tire go flat, I dented the rim! The quote or a new rim plus tire and all the other junk I'd need was close to $800 (my rims are apparently very expensive new, over $500 each). I looked into repair and thought I'd give this place a try. My rim was welded and straightened for only $70! I know it's usually a litlte over $100 but he gave me a discount (not totally sure why but I'm not complaining!). He also mounted my new tire to the rim and didn't charge me any extra money (this usually costs about $20 at car repair shops). On top of all of this, he had the repair done the same day! I brought in my 20" wheels from my 2009, Ford Sport Trac Adrenalin. This was originally sold into Canada and the wheel were really bad. I had the Black Chrome PVD and it only took 2 weeks from drop off to pick up. I have had many compliments on my wheels and the guys were very friendly. They explain the process and stuck to the quoted price. On wheel was bent, they fixed it at a reasonable price before the PVD was applied. I was in Cleveland, OH visiting from Maryland and got a breakdown over the weekend. I had 2 bent rims, and ended up staying in a hotel because everywhere was close till Monday. I searched a couple of places but Quest Rims was the only business I found credible or at least knowledgeable about rim repair work. Everywhere I checked takes 2 days and I need it to be done on the same day. I called up Quest Rim and spoke with Terrance around 10:30 am and was over there by noon. Terrance treated me with courtesy and respect. I was a little worried about how long it would take because I had to drive 8 hours back to Maryland. I walked in and was helped right away. I got both rims fixed for $270 but one of the rims was irreparable due to the impact. Terrance still manages to fix the rim just so I can get home and refunded me $145 for the rim. Most places would have still charged me the full cost for straighten and balancing the bent rim. The damaged rim held up and I was able to get back to Maryland safe. Absolutely perfect service!!! I couldn't have been happier with the service, great professionalism, and very competitive price. I had an aluminum rim repaired here about 2 months ago. A week after the repair, I drove 900 miles to Missouri. While in Missouri, I had the pleasure of driving up and down a brutal mountain road at least 3 times a week. This was some serious off road driving. Large rocks, Potholes, seriously uneven ground. I put this rim repair to the test and am happy to say it help up fantastically. After 45 days, I drove the 900 miles back home. Not once did I have to add air to the tire with the repaired rim. It is easily as good as new. I would recommend this place to anybody. Great guys, great work, extremely fair pricing. I had taken my car into the dealer for an alignment because i hit a pot hole and my car was pulling left. The dealer said both my front and rear drivers side wheels were bent. My mother did the same in the past but didn't know about Quest Rim and the dealers told her she needed new rims which she ended up having to buy. The dealer quoted me for 2 new tires mounting and balancing, and straightening of wheels plus all these extra fees well over $700! I had some vibration while driving (2007 Hyundai Sonata SE- 6cyl) so I went to Sears Automotive in Mentor where I purchased my tires (Goodyear- Assurance® ComforTred® Touring- 225/50/17) to get them balanced and have my alignment checked. Sears checked my alignment which looked great and rebalanced the tires, but informed me 3 of 4 rims were bent. Through Internet searches I found Quest Rim and decided to give them a try. Tommy, the owner, was very responsive to my needs and did excellent work. I know this because unfortunately after the work was done I still felt a slight vibration. NOTE: It was not the rims, keep reading! I brought my car to my dealership (Classic Hyundai- Mentor) as I was wondering if it was a possible suspension issue. I told them about Sears and Quest and prior to checking my suspension they were immediately suspicious of the job that may have been done on my rims. Most places, to their knowledge, does a very poor job straightening rims. So much in fact they won't even use a straightening service and only replace bent rims. Second guessing my decision, I asked them to test the rims that had been worked on. They unmounted the tires and put my rims on their state of the art balancing machine that can diagnose if rims are within factory specification. To their surprise the rims passed the test and out of all the measurements, the largest deviation from perfect was .014. Most of the measurements were within .007 of spec. Essentially, the rims are as straight as they are from the factory. The ride has gotten smoother and although I can still feel some vibration, I know one thing is certain, it is not from bent rims as they are perfectly straight! I'll have to look into my suspension but, this saved me so much time and money. Replacing my rims would have cost upwards of $250 p/rim not to mention charges for mounting, balancing and install.
