I called for a regular check up/cleaning and they asked if anything was wrong so of course I added that my gum was causing discomfort. When I arrived I found out they were seeing me for an EMERGENCY visit not a check up or cleaning. They attributed my issue to eating "harsh" foods like "granola" (which I never eat fyi) and told me to book a follow up for a check up/cleaning. So I did! Then I arrived and found out I needed to book the cleaning separately! I asked if I could possibly do it that day since it was my only day off and they said fine. So we do the scans/X-rays etc. They do the cleaning... cool. I ask what the exam/X-rays said and they said we had to book a separate in office meeting to discuss treatment. WTF? And then would have to book consecutive appointments after that to follow up with treatments. I have never experienced a more obvious money grab in my entire life. On top of that, I had disclosed my anxiety about the dentist given that I had gotten my first cold sore due to my pediatric dentist not properly cleaning their tools (dentist offices are breeding grounds for viruses) well, guess who got another cold sore directly after visiting THIS dentists office as well? It really makes you question just how sterile their tools are and how much force they're applying when examining your mouth. Not only that but they send multiple letters in the mail when you don't follow up appointments practically harassing you about the harsh reality gum disease and tooth decay. No short and sweet "hey we miss you!" mailer card like other offices. A full on letter that looks like a bill and that is stamped with an urgent message (it's literally just the two doctors asking you to come spend a ton of money at the office) This office is exorbitantly expensive, takes way too long to get a single answer to the simple question that is "how do my teeth look". Something that can easily be 2 visits is now 5+ visits. That saying about seeing your dentist at least 1-2x a year? Make that 10 times if you choose this office. And seriously, who has the time for that?

After not having gone to the dentist in upwards of 10 years due to not having dental insurance I had a good bit of work that needed to be done and every appointment was smooth and seamless, the doctors are so friendly and the staff is sweet as well. My wife called numerous times to make sure insurance was taken care of this . No one could reach us back or solve any resolution on the phone. My wife clearly wrote all this on yelp . Today we get a call we're not permitted back. What's sad is we love the dentist's there , when feelings get involved this is what happens. Also side note the receptionist told my wife why she was so upset over a 20 dollar bill (it was for over 200 dollars) . This has also happened to coworkers of my wife's . Instead of figuring it out and getting back to us they tell good hardworking paying customers they're not allowed back over a misunderstand on there end and that's ridiculous. I don't want this to happen to anyone else . Maybe they will speak to there staff so they don't loose thousands of more dollars over there mistakes . Could have bin solved simply by returning our call . Thank you again to all the other staff for your great services . They made it point to call us and tell us we're no longer welcome , if you did your job correctly the first time my wife wouldn't have had to use yelp to get the problem resolved. Once you read what she wrote about you not the dentists or other staff you made it a point to get back . Before starting treatment, I specifically asked Michelle to verify my insurance because, as a teacher living on a budget, I could not afford unexpected costs. I delayed treatment for a week so they could confirm coverage, and I was assured my insurance would cover $1,500. Based on that information, I signed the contract and began treatment. Months later, after already being deep into treatment, I was suddenly told that insurance had not covered anything and that I was responsible for the balance. When I questioned this, I was told they had only done a "verbal" verification and had no documentation of it. Despite repeatedly assuring me coverage had been verified, they now point only to the contract saying I am responsible if insurance does not pay. Communication has also been extremely frustrating. Calls were not returned, I was repeatedly placed on hold until the office closed, and promised callbacks never happened. Meanwhile, payments continued being deducted without proof of payment being provided. Unfortunately, while the orthodontic treatment itself seems fine, the business practices felt unprofessional and predatory. I trusted that my insurance had been properly verified before committing to treatment, but instead I was left dealing with unexpected financial consequences after I was already "on the hook" in the middle of treatment.
