I love these guys! Everyone from the front office right up to Dr. Corbin. Dr. Corbin does everything on site and very well at that. The staff is welcoming and kind and Dr. Corbin explains everything he is doing or going to do. The office is equipped with state of the art equipment and is very clean. I tell everyone that needs a dentist to go see them! My crown fell off. And I was seen by some young man. A doctor I guess. NOT dr. Richard or Bruce Corbin. Young man assured me that my crown is broken and I need a new one. ASAP. He said that if he put it back it will likely fall off again and it's dangerous because it's possible to choke on it! What?? I didnt like the way he talked and behaved. Very pushy. When I decided to leave he asked if I need my crown back or I wanna throw it out. Weird question. I took my crown and I left. I went to get a second opinion to a different doctor. I was a patient here for over 20 years & have spent many tens of thousands in dental work. One of the very expensive veneers they did on my front tooth popped off at just 8 years old. On their website they clearly stated veneers will last 10+ years. Yet- they wanted to charge me the FULL PRICE for a NEW veneer. I felt that was wrong & explained (emotionally) that I was being financially impacted by Covid-19 times & struggling to stay afloat. I tried explaining this to them & became emotional about how I have been a customer for over 20 years & feel they should stand behind the defective work they clearly did on my front tooth- but they just looked at me like I had 2 heads. I would have expected they would have some integrity about the work they did- but their true colors showed. Instead they tried gluing the veneer back on twice, & it didn't even last a day each time. They also decided to hit up my insurance & use it up while the work they did didn't last a day- really - shame on them- It shows they have no regard for me- a customer who has supported their business for over 20 years & spending an extreme amount of money with them during that time. I decided I could not go there any longer & found a new dentist a bit farther away- who will stand behind the work they do and don't make you feel like your are weird for expecting quality work with integrity & for them to stand behind the very expensive work they do. I could go on about other substandard work they did in my mouth that is showing up now- but I will leave it at that. read more

Dr. Richard Corbin did an AMAZING job on my teethe. I had to get 8 porcelain crowns on the top row of my teethe, it was A LOT of work but they made me feel super comfortable and my results are absolutely amazing, I get compliments everyday. Thank you for giving me my confidence back. read more

My family of four were patients of Corbin dental from 2012-2013. I had two crowns put on on my upper left and it was the most painful and dreadful dental experience I have ever had. It took nearly a week longer than promised to get my crowns back from the lab (my husbands took almost two weeks longer than promised). Dr Corbin was extremely uncaring and inconsiderate regarding the pain I had with the temporary and permanent crowns. It took nearly THREE MONTHS for him to get my crowns filed down properly so they weren't causing mouth, jaw and head pain. Now, just THREE years later, I have to go through the process again thanks to the shoddy work Dr Corbin did. My husband also now has to have one of his crowns replaced as well. I went into Corbin dental on rushed circumstances as I was moving back to my home state and needed a check up before changing careers. Excellent dental hygienist; sure telling me how awful I am with my teeth in nice, pleasant ways, but incredibly informative and in good taste. So. Low and behold, a cavity. Not only did they squeeze me in the schedule to accommodate, they rushed my crown back from the lab for installation before my move. Also, with all the hub bub of changing insurances and the scheduling, there was a question of billing and the dentist didn't just push for doing the right thing; but if anything fell through he'd cover the difference. This is what shows passion over compensation. If you live anywhere on the island, Corbin is worth the drive. It's incredibly refreshing to see people who work like this. read more

I have been going to Dr. Bruce Corbin for several years and I wouldn't trust my smile to anyone but him. He is conservative while being proactive. The staff has always been very professional as well. Pulpits - the absolute worst pain I have ever had in my life and I have had many dental procedures done ... I could NOT have gotten through this without Rose S who was there with me holding my hand and comforting me while i experienced this nightmare procedure...Rose was also mentoring a new assistant, and you could see how professional and detailed she was with her...So, lucky me to have Rose (my angel) by my side during this, and nice to know her apprentice was learning from the best ... I have been their patient for many years and would highly recommend this office. Their front office staff is very kind, warm and professional. They are always accommodating and receptive. The hygienists do the most thorough and careful cleaning and actually do an oral exam. They even look at the tongue to make sure there's nothing funky growing on or under it. Their dentists are well trained, gentle and kind. I now travel over 30 minutes to use their services and will continue to do so. Their fees are fair for the excellent care you get. Who would think,emergencies can be a blessing? Fortunately I found third generation dentists: Corbin Dental,(unfortunately, I had far too much experience with dentistry/dental surgery.) My teeth were a career- UNTIL I found Corbin Dental. I used to I cringe if I felt any type of warning something was amiss and i might, oh no, need a dentist. I didn't even want my teeth cleaned, my fear so great ... Christine at Corbin changed that.... a welcoming smile; reassuring, professional, AND knowledgeable. I look forward to my visits now. (Of course she also told me, in the kindest way, that I better get a routine down if I wanted teeth...I did) Both Dr Corbins and full staff help me though dental challenges. My personal star is Dr Bruce Corbin. To start with he came in special for me. Hmmm, good sign,I thought while being a visible nervous wreck on my first 911 visit. After his caring asst preyed my mouth open, he calmly/ quickly defused my anxiety with his quite confidence and ready smile. He knows his field and has the ability to spot an issue BEFORE it becomes a 911. He is the best there is and I don't mind the drive... I'd drive to NYC if I had to. It goes without saying he is beyond proficient,but add to that an unheard of compassion, true concern. Above and beyond, explained everything (multiple times) ,even called to check on me..I had some pretty heavy things going on and i was always treated with kindness and respect. Of course he did the work without issue. Procedures that took months, he did in weeks, having state of the art equipment right at their fingertips :) no need for trips elsewhere... So when it was teeth cleaning time last week I didn't mind the beautiful drive, I walked in, was greeted with all smile and was in the chair in a minute (even the techs and assistants said hello, and of course Dr Bruce, popped his head in to ask how I was doing.) Do not go here. Office staff was rude and untruthful. I made appointment for cleaning and other work to be done. Arrived on time, had cleaning and then they stated I wasn't getting the rest of treatment done stating I never made appointment for that particular service. Office staff was also supposed to call me back regarding cost of getting cap done and they never called me back. Too many good dental offices around to return to this one. Dr. Corbin and his staff where professional and made me feel extremely comfortable. Like most people going to the dentist is stressful. I had to get 5 teeth replaced with crowns today. Prior to this visit Dr. Corbin took the time to talk to me for few minutes after my consultation to figure out the best plan to fit my needs. I felt calm and had no anxiety before during and after procedure. Rose his assistant was warm and friendly.
