Janell will apply a numbing cream on your eyes for about 10-15 minutes. The procedure doesn't hurt. You'll feel a tickling or itchy sensation. Janell takes many breaks in between tattooing so it gives you some relief between the session. I am pleased with my results and I am happy I no longer have to draw my brows and eye liner. When I went for my touch up visit I mentioned that I'd had a bad reaction and the healing time she stated of 2-3 days was actually closer to a week. The liner is not even on both eyes ... and I mean after my touch up visit. She did not ever call to see if I was happy with results or see if I'd had another bad reaction. When I complained that my eyes looked uneven, she said it was my fault because I had flinched. I would expect someone with experience tattooing eyes to have worked on clients that do flinch. It's an involuntary reaction when your eyelids are being punctured with a needle. If someone is having a "flinching" reaction, you stop and work with them. You don't continue and do a bad job. When I described what I wanted the liner to look like she said things like "you're funny" and "I"m just going to do it". When a professional says things like that, I would expect her to know what is in style/fashionable and what would flatter her client. I don't think either was true. I felt bullied and that my opinion was disregarded. She was so short with me I didn't express the full extent of my displeasure because I was still hopeful that she would fix it. I wanted this procedure to look and feel better about myself...and to make my life easier. Now I constantly worry about using eyeliner to make my eyes look even. I chose her because she said she would take the time and make my eyes "look perfect"...and because of all her before/after photos. I would not recommend her

She takes her time to take all measurements to make your eyebrows as symmetrical as possible. For those that don't know, most eyebrows on one person are not the same.
