I was looking for ingredients to replace an old homebrew kit (some of the ingredients had expired)…read more I was also hoping for some advice on what I can re-use and what needs to be replaced, rather than purchasing an entirely new homebrew ingredients kit. The person there was quite helpful in letting me know what items were still good and what items I should replace. He tried to find things as similar as possible (e.g., a replacement for the sweet orange peel). He also suggested that I purchase a different sanitizer, and provided me with advice on how to improve the likelihood of a successful first batch! I really appreciated how helpful he was and it felt like he was not trying to upcharge me. They have a lot of different items. If I eventually decide to dabble in my own recipes, I'm sure that this would be a great place for that, as they have a lot of different ingredients. The also have wine and cheese-making kits that seemed very interesting. I'd like to try my hand at cheese making some time! That said, this place is a bit difficult to find. It is next to Enterprise and behind the body shop (I think that it's a body shop), tucked away on the side street (Rigoletto St). I think that you can find street parking either on Ventura Blvd (looks like it's metered) or street parking in the neighborhood behind the store.

And they know their stuff! Everybody is friendly and helpful. And I just heard they are closing shop by the end of the month or a bit later. :(

We visited Windsor for the first time to try their tap room. This place is a hidden gem! Wow! From…read morethe outside you can't tell that there is an awesome tap room with an amazing tap list. There is a nice long bar and plenty of tables and seating inside. One of my very favorite breweries is Monkish and they have their Hazy IPA on tap. It was so great to have Monkish beer without having to drive to Anaheim or Torrance. The tap room is super clean and neat. There is a great selection of beers to take home. I know there are a few breweries close by to Windsor but they can get super crowded. Windsor is a great place to grab some beer and relax! It's even better that they have their own parking lot! I would highly recommend Windsors and will definitely be back again!

This place has pretty much anything you would need or could ask for if you want to brew your own…read morebeer, but for the people that actually don't brew their own beer like myself, they have excellent selection of beers on tap and available bottles. I recently came in during their 10th anniversary celebration. Because the folks here are knowledgeable and have lots of friends in the craft beer community, there were some gems available on tap. I used to live so close to here and based on the timing of their 10th anniversary, I was right down the street around the time they just opened. Sad I didn't know about it back then, but glad I got to/ get to visit now. It's a store/ small taproom located in the Costa Mesa area a bit south of the South Coast Plaza shopping area. I'm continually pretty blown away with what they had available. The pour prices and the bottles seem to be really reasonably priced. A gem for the craft beer community and just a great place to hang out.
