I must say from the first moment that I walked in the front door, I found Pacific Brewing Supply to be, friendly, personable, and extremely helpful. I have brewed beer for decades, but I always bottled. I grew very tired of dealing with bottling, and a friend sold his old kegerator to me. Woooohooo, no more having to deal with bottles, but I had a new issue. I don't know shit about kegging beer. Enter Pacific Brewing Supply. They were knowledgeable and willing to help. The first issue was the kegerator was setup for 10 gallons store bought kegs and not the 5 gallon Corny keg setup I required. From a picture and a few parts that I brought with me, he was able to set me up with everything needed and CO2 leak free. Can things get any easier? They were even were able to refill my CO2 tank. They're still in business, which is more than I can say about the other brewing supply stores closer to me. They have a great selection of lots of stuff and a very friendly cat as well. Obviously, the cat was the big draw. read more

Great guy working, super friendly. Helped me get everything I needed for my newest batch of mead. I got an auto siphon, hose, hand corker, corks, gallon carboy, and an airlock for $53.81, which was much cheaper than anything I was finding online. It was a bit of a drive from where I live, but it was worth the traffic to get my supplies by this lovely downtown area. While it's physically a small store, the place is covered in a variety of products. You'll find what you're looking for. Definitely recommend. read more

This shop is great! I found them when my local liquor store ran out of CO2 to refill my tank. The owners are very nice and knowledgeable and you can pretty much find everything you need here. I purchased a backup tank for my kegarator and found that I had an issue with my valve because it was leaking. The owner told me to bring it in so I brought it into the shop and they took a look at it and fixed it costing only .98 cents for the missing washer. I was ready to purchase a new valve if I need it to but they insisted that it could be fixed. They are my new go to place for Co2 and brewing needs. Grain is rotated regularly, and Charles always has new yeasts and a variety of hops. There's fruit purees and winemaking kits too. Whatever you're looking for Charles has it or can order it. There is a canning machine for rent. The shop fills your CO2 container. There is a little homebrew bottle exchange in the fridge. There's an adorable shop cat. I wanted to get back into beer making and this place had great reviews and was near to me. The people that helped me at the store were so kind and knowledgeable. This place is amazing. I'm dipping my feet into wine-making and have been researching all the ingredients and equipment needed to make wine. I didn't even know the name of the things I was looking for, I just described their general purpose and Charles knew exactly what my clueless mouth was talking about. I was butchering the names of ingredients, but he knew what to get and that's amazing to be so helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. Everything was priced great, however he did forget to ring up the nylon mesh bag I had in my shopping cart. Store hours didn't work in my favor as I bought my things on Monday and didn't check my receipt or bag till I got home around 5pm, and this store doesn't open again till Thursday. I had to drive to another supply shop which sold me the item for 3 dollars more. The hydrometer I purchased broke as I took it out of the package too, must have been a fluke, and when I bought another one at the other supply store it was about 2 dollars more than Pacific. Just shows Pacific Brew Supplies prices really are great. Personal inconvenience aside, I'll take consumer responsibility too for not checking the bag/receipt for all my items beforehand as this shop is still a 5 star business in my book. read more

A small shop stuffed with a huge variety of brewing supplies and ingredients. They have a wide variety of less common specialty grains,including German, English, Belgian and Patagonia grains from Chile. They also have an impressive selection of yeast including white labs and wy'east and several brands of dry yeast. They also have a lot of specialty ingredients such as various wood chips, fining agents, spices, herbs and other ingredients As far as hardware they have a lot of small parts that you would normally have to go online to find. You guys working there, Charles and I forget the other guy's name, we're very helpful and say that they have over 4,000 different items on hand. What a fantastic home brew shop! The owners Charles and Janice are super knowledgeable and extremely helpful. It seems like a small shop but it is very well organized and has everything I have ever needed and more. They also have told me that if they didn't have something in stock to let them know and they would order it. They have great quality products, are very well priced, and give an AHA discount to members as well. I recently needed some lactose for a mango milkshake IPA so I called their store to make sure they had some in stock. They did but I was sitting in traffic and my gps said I wouldn't arrive until 20 minutes after they closed. Charles told me no big deal and that he would wait for me. Good people here. I was here earlier today 2014/03/29 and they have a clean shop, very organized, and everyone was very helpful. They even offered to get me some hops I was looking for from another shop so I could go to them for everything. I will give them my money willingly, they just want their customers to be happy. Their system for getting your grains is great, mill is easy to use, and its easy to find. I will be going back. Mainly for more hops. they stock mostly hop union in easy to use 1.0oz bags.
