I noticed they were having a end of the year's sale and I needed a Jerry can holder so I decided to grab one online and do a day trip up to their showroom to get it. (Needed for a road trip). The sales associate looked up my order and while she grabbed it we window shopped around the showroom floor. Ended up also getting 2 paires of stainless steel loop tie-downs. Its in SoCal so its semi convenient for pick up or they do shipping deals as well. I don't have thier roof rack but with the correct rack hardware (t-slot nuts) most of thier stuff should work with other extruded aluminum roof racks. read more

People questioned me about why I was driving so far...let me tell you why! Jolo who works on the sales side is a great communicator and a man of his word. They also make great products which we are very happy with. I called to have some questions answered, and Erin was able to answer all of my questions. She even helped me look at the big picture of future upgrades for our Jeep Grand Cherokee. When my order was delayed which happens everywhere these days, I was called right away and given the option to cancel. I kept my order in, and got it faster than expected. They have a contact free local pickup option, which we used and had our new rack quickly. The only downside is that I didn't get to say thank you in person, or check out their showroom to add accessories to my new rack. What a fun store! I was in the area so I decided to stop by and I ended up spending money! The guy helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable and showed me around all the products. I ended up buying some items but it looked like it was a return (which I don't mind at all) and it was half way assembled and missing screws and some screws were stripped that I had to go back to the store to get the new screws. Came here this past weekend for their sale. Lots of items on sale or clearance but everything was sold quick. Inside the show room you can see various items they have on stock for accessories. Lots of the merchandise was really nice and is of good quality. We ended up going home with 2 chairs that fold into a very compact way which takes less space in the vehicle when going on camping trips. We even won the raffle and went home with a pretty cool flashlight with different features. Can't wait for the next sale! A little bummed we missed the taco man but it was raining and I was getting cold. read more

I had Toyota install my Front Runner Slimline II rack for me. When I took my car to the car wash, I noticed water in the vehicle. I then went back to Toyota and explained the issue and they reseated the roof rack. Few days later it rained and I had water in the vehicle again. I then called Front Runner and asked how much they'd charge me to re-install the roof rack. That same day I was at Front Runner and their staff installed the roof rack right.... So heres an update: I have had the full length for quite awhile and couldn't be happier. And they are spreading like wild fire. I have since thrown their prototype 5th Gen drawer system and plan to be purchasing an RTT and Awning. Wouldn't choose any other brand. Here's a story: I came to stop at a light after hitting the gym like the man beast that I am. Out of nowhere I hear a man yell out nice rack. Now at first, I looked down to see what he was talking about because I thought he was mirin my gains. Probably the worst customer service I have dealt with a long time. Purchased Aug 3, finally installed this last week 10/21. Did not receive for over a month! Then finally first set of parts, bolt stripped, sent me a new part. Then realized all the mounting hardware was not sent to me to install on vehicle. Waited forever to receive! Then to be told that I need to buy another $175 piece of plastic to help with noise and MPG for only a $7 discount, shipping alone is more than that, then $25 for shipping. I get so sick of robotic customer service that really doesn't give a shit. read more

FR makes great accessories for offroad vehicles/adventures! Love their products and purchased a drawer for my truck. This may be a one off experience but make sure you thoroughly check the product for quality issues like missing nuts/bolts. Mine had missing cage nuts which are a pain to install given there's little room and some disassembly is required and they don't consider it a factory defect so you're stuck fixing it. They do, however, try to help you out as much as they can and are very responsive. So Customer Service is great but QC needs work. read more

I'll preface this by saying I have so far no issues with their product. I have no issues with their help to buy the product. I did not jump to ththe internet to complain about them. I voiced my opinion and asked for help like one should. After Kyle Corver some minion at front runner had no interest in helping me making a poor fiscal executive decision, I promised him he would here from me again Front runner survives by shipping- for my order they used fed ex freight who wanted me to stay home for 4 hours in the middle of the week to wait for the delivery. They would not just leave it and they would charge me 150 dollars to bring it to my office which is closer to their distribution center. I asked for help from front runner and Kyle told essentially told me it's my problem-call fed ex and figure it out There a lot of tents out there. If you want to spend half you're day waiting and ir talking to lazy stupid people and or driving around the Kansas City fed ex depot to pick up you're 1100 dollar tent which you will personally lift and tie down yourself on the top of your car in 95 degree weather with a suit on during lunch hour, buy a front runner tent. read more

I placed an order with front runner on 11/25/16 order # 500002936 online. We were headed on a long trip starting on 12/5/16 and I am located in southern California about 1:30 away from front runner. Monday comes don't hear anything or any delivery yet so I give it another day still nothing so I call into front runner to find out whats going on ? Talk to Steve i guess the manger guess something happen with pay pal processing not big deal give him credit card over the phone no problem Steve tells me I will get that out right away should be there in a day ok it is now the 30th you would think by Friday at the latest since the order was placed first thing in the morning when front runner opened not so they ship it a day later even know front runner says on their website they ship same day!!. Shipment is coming on Friday now still have time before we leave. UPS call me on Friday and says the have lost the package and left it some where and will not be able to get to me until next week Tuesday or Wednesday. I call Steve back at front runner to find out whats going on with the shipment he explains there is nothing he can do, at this point i have no option we are leaving 2 days and i am not going to have $1,700 order sitting at my front door for 2 weeks while I am gone. I call Steve to cancel the order he says no problem and dose. I check my credit card and noticed that I did not get a full refund, call Steve back he tells me that I have to pay the cost of shipping even know UPS lost the order, He now explained that its my fault because i canceled the order really???? Told him why don't you contact your shipper and get your money back for the shipping? This is where front runner and Steve shine it would have taken 10 days to go 70 miles down the road that's my fault according to Steve better yet front runner clearly says that they ship same day that was also my fault according to Steve. Now front runner will no longer speak to me and steve now hangs up the phone. So I called the credit card company to for the shipping front runner has fought this all the way and will not refund me the shipping. I would recommend buying from a company that cares about service and not ripping off their customers for shipping that is out of my control. SO THANK YOU for ripping me off on the shipping I Will never buy from you again. read more
