The jacket I received from my jobs vendor was a SUPERVISOR Jacket. I needed the Concealable ID Front & Back Panels to have STATION AGENT. The vendor was unable to order the correct panels. I found this company and I am highly satisfied with the product and price. It was exactly what I wanted and would inform my co workers of this company. On a side note, the velcro on my jacket were hooks. The panels that came also had velcro hooks. I quickly had to take off the velcro hooks on the panels and iron on velcro hoops so it would attach properly to my jacket. Simple fix that I have no complaints about. I would recommend CopQuest to have an option when ordering on whether to have velcro hooks or hoops on the back of the panels for easy convenience. read more

Poor Communication and Customer service!! I ordered a Safariland holster online and the availability was not updated so I had n idea when I would expect to receive it. No update from the company on status or expected lead time. I called to inquire and was told it was on order, I was given the option of canceling the order all together. Ended up waiting over 45 days for any automated update. Received a message stating the order had been processed for shipment and three days later the package was finally scanned and a delivery date was given. 5 days to have a package shipped 125 miles in the same state. CopQuest seems to have everything you see in the website in stock at their warehouse/store front if you're able to get there. The Staff is cool and I had no issues with getting items that they seemed to be the only ones who had it in stock. The parking is around the corner and the entrance is right next to their bay door. In fact, the store front is just a sectioned-off area of the warehouse. Never ordered from them online so I can't speak on that but nevertheless it's a good place to visit if you're looking for a hard-to-find item. read more

Wow, what can I say? I am a retired LEO from the Central Valley of California and have given a lot of business to CopQuest over the years. In their early years I simply excused all of their mistakes and lack of customer service as inexperience. Now there is no excuse. I placed an on-line order the morning of May 13, 2015. I get the confirmation email and it says one product is on a 5-15 day back-order. A couple days later I sent in a request to check on order status. It is obviously only a regurgitation of my original order with no NEW information on it. By May 19th I sent a specific email request to S**dy@copquest.com about my order. No response after two days, so at 3 pm on the 21st I called and spoke with S**dy. She agreed to get all the in stock items shipped to me the following day and I would have them on the 26th due to the holiday. "If you had only called 15 minutes ago it would have gone out today." On the 21st she offered to split my order (in-stock vs. back order) which had qualified for free shipping, but she would have to charge me a shipping fee on both orders. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT? The she screeched at me when I balked about the two shipping fees when I had free shipping on my order; she gave a petulant sigh and begrudgingly agreed to not charge me extra. I forgot to say what the item is. No clothing to be altered, no custom orders, no electronics or other big difficult things to ship... Buttons, shirt buttons. That is what was on back order. I ordered a total of 40 buttons. By my calculation the USPS would charge me $2.58 to send them in a padded envelope first class package service. Here I am on May 27th at the end of the day. No email, no packages, no messages on my phone. No apologies... I am thoroughly vexed. Really? Are things that bad at CopQuest? If so, I would highly recommend customers stay away until they change management or fold up shop. I would also recommend each employee related or not, needs to be trained in true customer service. Customer service can be great, good, poor, bad and dreadful. My local Home Depot; good to great. Always. CopQuest over this incident; dreadful. Overall the past few years, I would rate them poor to bad. Like others have said, the items are great! Too bad we have to walk through hell to get to them. Every time I have spoken with S**dy she has never failed to be rude, crass and blame the customer for all of her (and the business') shortcomings. In regards to S**dy: I understand her personal pathology may not allow her to admit a mistake had been made (even if she didn't make it). It may also prevent her from seeing that good customer service is better that crap customer service. Although, she might even not know how she sounds to the customers. Perhaps less pathology and more perception. Perception is in many ways worse than pathology; the pathological personality understands what he/she is doing and does not care. The perception impaired individual will simply never understand that what they are doing is wrong. In this case I sincerely hope it is the former rather than the latter. Pathology is difficult if not impossible to change; but can be managed with a firm guidance of an experienced manager. Perception cannot be easily swayed. I am done shopping with them. Time and time again, I use their website and place an order only to get an email later saying my item is back ordered 30 to 45 days. I dont have 45 days to wait and would have gone elsewhere originally had I known it was not in stock. This has been an issue for the longest time and I am fed up. I feel that all of my orders over the last 5 years have been back ordered and out of stock. Reading some of the other reviews, I have to agree with S**dy having poor customer service. She too has given me attitude on the phone before. Saw I'm not the only one having issues with these guys shipping and receiving. Ordered a safariland holster no updates 3 months later. I had to contact them oh we haven't gotten it but nothing we can do. All the while my co workers who ordered theirs from safariland 40 days before me got theirs already. (He knows the products, unlike some sales reps at other stores.) They have a lot of items in stock, but not everything that I was looking for. Copquest is the only retailer I was able to find advertising the new Streamlight TLR-7A pistol light. I placed my order on December 7th and received an invoice indicating that expected turnaround for my order would be 7-10 business days. I should have been suspicious that they were the only ones advertising the new product. The streamlight TLR-7A does not appear to have shipped to distributors yet. It has been sixteen days since I placed my order. I called customer service and they told me that the company will begin receiving shipments of the product from the manufacturer in mid to late December. Today I called back to check on the status of the order and they told me now the light is coming at an unspecified time in January. There is NO indication on the online store page that the light is a pre-order item. The customer is led to believe that they will receive the product in a timely fashion, when in reality, it seems like Copquest has tried to trick people excited about a new product by making it look like they were the first ones to get any in stock. Customer service is unhelpful and without remorse regarding this blatant misrepresentation. I am dubious as to whether or not I will even receive my order at this point. Even if I do eventually receive my order, Copquest's deceptive business practices have ruined my opinion of them. I will not be using their services ever again and I recommend that no one else does either. UPDATE: I contacted Streamlight Customer service directly, and they confirmed that the TLR-7A has yet to be distributed. It will hit the market sometime in January. I called back Copquest customer service and was able to cancel my order. To their credit, the new woman I spoke with at least acted much more understanding, but I still don't believe her story that the product was mistakenly put up as an available item due to a misunderstanding on their part. I'm positive that the intention was to lock down business before other retailers started listing the product when it ships in January. I was able to cancel my order and was not charged, but the dishonesty, intentional or not, still reflects poorly on the business. read more

I recently visited CopQuest looking for some new holster ideas. Catalogs and online photos are ok, but trying out a product yourself, and speaking with someone with a bit of industry knowledge is even better. Anyway, I ended up ordering a particular holster that was not in stock, but in a few weeks I had it in my hands with the proviso that if it didn't meet my expectation they would accept it back without obligation. The holster is great and I'll certainly keep it, but the shopping and ordering process was what sold me again on CopQuest. No business is perfect, and they all have their up days and down days, but in the multiple purchases I've made from CopQuest, I've always been pleased with their service, their pricing, and the overall shopping experience. read more
