We visited Mickey's Pizza today while in town for a baseball tournament! We had a great experience! We got a large salad, cheesy bread, and a large pizza (1/2 Greek, 1/2 supreme). The pizza was amazing and the marinara that comes with the cheesy bread is worth the trip alone! I also really loved that they brought me a squeeze bottle of ranch! I ordered the Alfredo chicken with spinach pizza and added onions to go. They forgot to add the spinach and asked if I would like to wait longer for them to get it right. I didn't care to wait, I went home and even without the spinach it was delicious! This town is so small and I didn't know where else to go for dinner the second night I was in town, so I called in the same to go order I had last night, with spinach. The lady recognized my voice over the phone and told me they would absolutely get it right this time. When I went in, the cashier gave me my pizza for $5 since I came back - awesome customer service!! I would love to stay and eat in the restaurant , but I really wanted wine with my pizza. Stopped in here on the way back home. Wasn't expecting much. This place was a huge surprise. The sub sandwich was a thousand times better than the chains. Homemade bread freshly toasted with herbs and Parmesan cheese. Amazingly flavorful for a humble ham and cheese. The pasta looked amazing! Can't wait to try it! read more

While visiting Buffalo TX give Micky's Pizza a try. We had a pizza, and chicken alfredo and both were impressive. About a mile past Pizza Hut on the left is a little mom & pop pizza place. They offer salads, pizza, Italian pasta dishes and sandwiches. This is no chain and the food represents that: Delicious! Funny little sign on the inside welcomes BYOB any day. Stopped in yesterday for the first time and really enjoyed my experience at Mickey's. We ordered the fettuccine, cheese pizza, and supreme pizza. All were very delicious. I believe the owner was also our server and cook. Very nice guy. Very clean atmosphere and reasonable prices. There is a board that states it's BYOB, which is very nice. And it also gives the wifi password so.. free wifi! This is just a really cute Italian place and I'm very glad I chose to come here... we will be back!!! I definitely recommend!! read more

Great pizza and food. The only criticism I have is that service was a bit slow. But the food was HOT and FRESH and very delicious. The owner was very nice and so was the lady serving us. I was traveling in Leon County recently, going through Buffalo, and spotted a little restaurant called Mickey's Pizza. Being a pizza connoisseur, I decided to check it out. The first thing you notice on approaching Mickey's is that the building is old and may give doubts as to what may lie in wait for you inside. Upon opening the door, the aroma of Italian spices cooking and the Parmesan hit you solid, and starts your taste buds going. A nice selection in their menu displays a plethora of options without becoming overbearing. I quickly sought out the pizza section and looked at my options. Having Philly Steak, fresh toms, and feta cheese as toppings is nice considering a lot of the big chains don't offer those as toppings - or if they do its for a limited time. My only concern is that while they do offer three sizes(small, medium, large) they do not specify the actual size(in inches). So I decided to go for a medium meat combo (pepperoni. Canadian bacon, hamburger, sausage). Roughly 20 minutes later and it was brought to my plate - it looked wonderful and the aroma from it enticing. One drawback - it's a thin crust. I'm just not a big thin crust pizza fan. It wasn't a cracker type crust, and it was good. I just like my crust a little thicker - but it is not a gamebreaker. Overall the decor made me think of a simpler time, like being in Mayberry, and having a pizza on a sunny afternoon. read more

Stopped in here on the advice of a local and glad we did! I love simple feel of the decor and the smell as soon as we walked thru the door couldn't be beat! We got a Greek salad, manicotti and a small pizza with mushrooms, Canadian bacon, black olives, tomatoes and feta cheese. It was probably the best Italian food I've had in years. The manicotti was perfect, the pizza cooked nicely and not over sauced. The Greek salad was fresh and delicious. Combine all of this with an owner who loves what he does... WINNER!
