Finally got a chance to try mickeys!! i have driven by this place so many times and never have been able to stop- its either closed or i didn't have time- It's a cute hole in the wall place- we went on a saturday night and it was pretty hopping! i felt bad for the waitress because she was the only server and was running around. She did a good job though considering! we had a large group of 3 families. Started off wi th the cheese bread and that was delicious- we got the 19 inch and it was huge! We ordered the eggplant parmesan and it was ok- i love eggplant but it's just small pieces fried inside the spaghetti. its a huge portion!! I had a grilled chicken salad small and it was on an 8 inch dinner plate heap with chicken very good salad carrots green onions, tomatoes you name it was in that salad and the chicken was chicken breast that was moist freshly cooked not sitting in a serving pan waiting to go. Everything at Mickey's is top-notch fresh ingredients locally sought from local Farmers! The service is outstanding the young lady that waited on us made sure that we had her attention several times coming by asking if everything was OK. We ordered a small taco pizza. It was outstanding. They make their own crust fresh every day. The inside is really quaint is a good word for it pictures and memorabilia stuff on the walls by the time we left which was about 45 minutes the place was filling up and this was a Saturday afternoon about 6:30 PM. This was a great little family owned business. The pizza was hot and fresh. I loved the crust, which was crispy on the outside with just the right amount of soft on the inside. We had a supreme pizza and cheese bread. Both were excellent. The pizza came with both green and black olives, which I loved because I rarely see green olives at pizza places. What a great little hidden gem. Nothing fancy. But while traveling through the area, we were hungry and just happened upon the place. And we were not disappointed. The service was fast and friendly. And the inside was bright and clean. Food was all very good. Pizza was not exactly New York style. But very fresh and very good crust, sauce and cheese. We also got mozarella sticks. I presume the were the standard frozen ones, but they were perfectly prepared (maybe broiled rather than deep fried, but not sure) with a fresh homemade chunky marinara. All in all, a nice little oasis off the beaten path. Don't expect fancy or upscale, just good food and service for a reasonable price. read more

Ordered kids chicken fettuccine Alfredo, Lasagna, spaghetti with meatballs, 1/2 supreme pizza (minus ground beef and tomatoes) 1/2 pepperoni and a Greek Salad. The kids fettuccine must have been a full order because it was just as large as the lasagna and spaghetti. It was good. We asked for the lasagna well done so it was crispy. It was great! The spaghetti with meatballs were ok. The pasta dishes are big portions. We have left overs for two days for sure! Honesty, kind of disappointed in the pizza after reading so many good reviews about it. Nothing special. Unfortunately the crust just tastes like frozen pizza. The onions on the supreme side were half raw and cut too large to cook through. The pepperoni side was ok. We would not order pizza if we dined here again. The pastas are worth coming back for. The Greek Salad was my favorite!! It was one of the best salads I have had in awhile. The dressing is very tart but I love sour things!! My husband it not a citrus fan so he didn't enjoy it. I have stopped back several times since my first review, and have been equally impressed each time. It seems like the business grows with every stop, and though I am a little disappointed that they have added televisions, I understand that people like to come in and watch sporting events and such. I second the reviewer who mentioned the dolmas. Totally unexpected pleasure in small town Texas. I didn't get much out of the dip that came with them, and more importantly, they didn't need any dressing up. Great by themselves. We had a Hawaiian pizza with Canadian bacon, pineapple and green bell peppers. Very tasty. They serve a thin crust, that is crispy, but also soft. Very nice. Stopped here with my family of five on our way from Dallas to Houston. It's just a few miles off 45 and worth the drive past the Pizza Hut which is immediately off 45. We got theedium supreme, one kid got kids cheese & other kids got a medium spinach chicken Alfredo. It was hot and the crust is not thick but not cracker thin. Also, not greasy. Really good and crunchy with lots of melted cheese. The place is very old and the inside matches, but the pizza was great so don't let the appearance scare you off! It must be pretty poplar with locals because the church crowd showed up just after noon and it was packed! Very cute with a home town feel. We would come here often if we were local! read more

With a captive audience out in Buffalo, TX, it was nice to find a mom and pop pizza restaurant to try, and a nice change from the typical fast food restaurants that you usually find in the country. Definitely better than Pizza Hut, which is your only other option here. I am giving it a strong 3.5 stars. We ordered over the phone and they had the pizzas ready in about 30 minutes, which was perfect timing to drive from the house to town. We ordered a large Pepperoni and a large Philly Cheese steak Pizza. While I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the Pepperoni pizza, the Philly Cheese Steak pizza left much to be desired. I will say the crust on both pizzas were really good, they had a good flavor and were thin enough to not overtake the pizza with bread, but also thick enough to provide a nice base to hold all of the ingredients. The crust had a nice crisp, crunch with just the right amount of ooey gooey doughness inside. The Pepperoni had a great flavor, with just the right amount of cheese, pepperoni and sauce. Not too saucy, not too dry, just right. Also, it was not too greasy either, pretty much the cleanest pizza I have had in a long time, which helped to remove some of my guilt for eating pizza, haha! The Philly Cheese steak pizza was not at all what I expected. For a specialty pizza, I kind of was expecting a pizza, pretty much topped with thick, seasoned pieces of sauteed beef, sauteed mushrooms and onions, and all topped with a liquidy cheese. This was not what it was. The "steak" was very thin and bland, and instead of being grilled, looked like it might have been boiled. There was no liquidy cheese, just the normal mozzarella that was on the other pizza. I think if I had ordered a Supreme, I might have not been able to tell much difference between the two. It was just kind of bland. After adding powder Parmesan and a dash of salt, I was decently happy. Not like their pepperoni pizza, which was not far from perfect!!! I love to support local businesses, especially in small towns and it thrilled me to see that they were actually expanding their location when we went inside to pick it up. This place is crazy good. I came north halfway and my mother and brother came south halfway to meet for mothers day 2019. We met here because I was looking for "not a chain restaurant". It blew our minds. My husband is a pizza connoisseur and he loved it too. My mother, daughter, and I all loved, loved, loved the TACO PIZZA!
