Our first time to Michelle's and we will be back. Simple unassuming little spot and a good ole boy feel. I had the burger and it was amazing. The meat filled the bun and the toppings were generous. I'm sorry, but this was literally the worst pizza i ever had in my life. It's nowhere even close to "New York style" like they claim for some reason! (I grew up around there). And whatever cheese they used was so disgustingly inedible i had to just peel it all off and eat the plain saucy crust, which also wasn't good. I never ordered from there again. Hands down one of my favorite local restaurants we moved here a little over two years ago and we would go weekly still go pretty frequently so much they know are drink orders. We love all the staff they are super friendly and welcoming. Don't walk run to Michelle's you won't be disappointed! I was generous when I rated this restaurant a 1 star. It was my first and last time ordering from this restaurant. The description of the food on the website is not accurate. I ordered a chicken nugget meal for my child. The fries were not seasoned, lacking any flavor and dried out. The chicken nuggets were so small it appeared to be only breading. It was not worth the 4.99 spent. I will go to Food Lion and spend money on the frozen fries and chicken tenders to have a full plate of food (with seasoning). It was so unfortunate and disappointing after hearing others rave about this establishment. read more

So this is your typical small town dive pizza place. Service was fast and good but that was all the good. Whoever has been giving this place high marks probably has no food experience. This is not New York pizza by any stretch of the imagination. This is little town pizza comparable to fast food delivery chains. Margherita pizza is by all standards Tomato Sauce, mozzarella and basil this was anything but that. It was their cheesy sticks with a couple of tomato pieces and basil. The cheeseburger was ordered medium and came out beyond well done. Pepperoni was poor quality. The cleanliness of the place left a lot to be desired. Better pride from the ownership would be great. The salad bar is very fresh and only $2.99 if you have a pizza here. We had two 10'' pizzas. The Islander (replaced peppers with mushrooms) and the Supremo (with added anchovies). Both were outstanding. The dough was so crispy and tasty, and the toppings were plentiful. We didn't even have to add Parmesan or chilies, both of which were brought to our table. If you're at the Hamilton Branch State Park, it's only a 20 minute drive to get here and well worth the drive. The server was very friendly and attentive. read more

Food is pretty great but their service wait time Sucks! It can take 30 minutes or more to receive your food...is it worth it? That has happened for dine in or take out so it doesn't matter. I just waited almost 50 minutes for a damn take out pizza. Got there at the pickup time but guess what they forgot or didn't put the order in, so I waited an extra 20 minutes. This place is situated in the middle of nowhere. McCormick South Carolina. For those that do not know in McCormick, Huddle house is considered one of the places to eat. You catch my drift. My wife and I finally managed to be coming through McCormick at a pretty good time to eat, so we stopped here. Had been wanting to try it for a while. We were not dissapointed. The entire staff treated us like royalty. The food was amazing. Probably a close second to the best pizza I've ever eaten and the other place has been closed for over 30 years. Nothing special but you do feel comfortable there. I was very happy to find they had a salad bar and for only a few dollars you can get a salad with the purchase of an entree. Ordered take out from here while staying at Hickory Knob State Park. Not a lot to choose from in McCormick but this had good reviews so I decided to give it a try. Got a 16" Brooklyn pizza some teriyaki & garlic parm wings and some pepperoni roses. The Brooklyn pizza is basically a meat lovers style pizza. Wasn't blown away by it, had decent taste but was basically the kind of pizza you find in every small town. Wings were ok, they were cooked just how I like them crispy on the outside but tender and juicy when you bite into them. Teriyaki wings were the best thing I ate, had plenty of sauce on them and good flavor.Garlic parm wings really lacked in flavor and had really no garlic or parm taste to them just tasted plain(ended up rolling them in my teriyaki to give them some flavor. Very good food, excellent staff and service, surprising salad bar! We have been in town a few months and eat here regularly.
