We've always had great experiences--friendly service, consistent quality, and generous toppings that made your pizza stand out. Unfortunately, our most recent carryout was really disappointing. The toppings were sparse and felt like a big step down from what we've come to expect. It honestly didn't match the quality we've enjoyed so many times before. We're not writing this to tear you down--we're hoping it's just an off day. We've supported this business for a long time and would love to keep doing so, but consistency matters. Extremely Unprofessional Treatment of Customers…read more Based on the video circulating on social media, the way these customers were treated was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. The customers apparently decided they did not want the food and had not eaten or touched it, yet employees/management appeared to insist that they pay for it and threatened to call the police when they attempted to leave. What made the situation even worse was someone following the customers toward the door, allegedly calling them names such as "thugs" and "thieves." That kind of language has no place in a restaurant, especially when dealing with customers who are trying to leave without causing a confrontation. If the customers did not eat the food or take possession of it, there were much better ways to handle the situation. Management could have simply taken the food back, explained the policy calmly, and avoided escalating the situation. I wasn't personally there, so I'm basing this review on what is shown in the publicly circulating video. However, the behavior shown was enough for me to say that I would not feel comfortable spending my money at this establishment. Customers should be treated with respect, regardless of their race, appearance, or whether there is a disagreement over an order. Threats, insults, and confrontational behavior are not the way to handle a customer-service dispute.

I was greeted right away when I walked in, took a look at the menu, and planned on getting a pizza. Then I noticed they had Birria Ravioli on the menu -- that definitely caught my attention, so I had to give it a try. The food was really good. The pizza didn't have a heavy amount of sauce. You could see it if you looked for it -- some people might say it could use more, others might say it was just enough. I personally didn't have any complaints, but I am curious what it would taste like with just a little more sauce, just to compare. The Birria Ravioli was impressive. Really flavorful and something different from the usual Italian menu items -- I'm glad I tried it.

The level of disrespect I witnessed towards your staff and patrons Sunday evening was abhorrent. I was embarrassed I had to witness it. Every interaction I had with an employee while I sat waiting for my take-out was quite pleasant and welcoming. You sir, on the other hand chose to speak loudly and belittle your staff...on two different occasions...In plain view, and fully audible. Nope...same treatment from you. Maybe you had a bad day. No excuse if so. I've just never witnessed a display like that, especially at an Italian restaurant. Be better. Not a good look. People are paying attention and will not patronize a local business if the owner and/or management overtly display a temper in front of their guests. Remember what world we're living in. Someone could've easily recorded that display. Don't go viral. Just treat your staff better. Have visited Aiken a lot lately. Everyone is so nice. What's your secret?
