I had heard about this pizza/Italian spot for a while but never actually knew where it was. During…read morea recent visit to the hospital, I noticed it was close by and decided to finally check it out. I was greeted right away when I walked in, took a look at the menu, and planned on getting a pizza. Then I noticed they had Birria Ravioli on the menu -- that definitely caught my attention, so I had to give it a try. The food was really good. The pizza didn't have a heavy amount of sauce. You could see it if you looked for it -- some people might say it could use more, others might say it was just enough. I personally didn't have any complaints, but I am curious what it would taste like with just a little more sauce, just to compare. The Birria Ravioli was impressive. Really flavorful and something different from the usual Italian menu items -- I'm glad I tried it.

It's a laid back type of restaurant, with tables and bar tables to dine in. Seems like most of their business is takeout. They had an assortment of all the typical Italian dishes, pizzas, and desserts. Food was pretty good, I even liked the meatballs and being Italian I tend to not like meatballs from restaurants. I had the chicken parm, it came Al forno with the cheese melted on the top, which I like also. Wife had the meatballs and spaghetti and she enjoyed hers also. We also got a pepperoni pizza to try, they have the small cup pepperoni which we prefer too. Was quickly served in the aluminum dish/pan they cooked it in. Nothing fancy just decent Italian food served quick.

It's been a year since my last review nevertheless consistently good pizza. I really enjoyed the fresh topping and crust. Service: Absolutely amazing service... every time!!! Not as polished as your franchised establishments however a cozy comfortable place.

Combo basket (4/5): This is a platter of a few of their appetizers including the fried cheese sticks, fried mushrooms, fried zuccini, and the fried broccoli cheese puffs. The batter was crispy on each appetizer. I enjoyed the cheese sticks and fried mushrooms and they went well with the marinara sauce. The broccoli cheese puffs were just ok to me, somewhat similar to the Green Giant frozen cheese/broccoli although the batter was just as enjoyable. Solid sharable appetizer. House special pizza (4/5): This is their special pizza with a good mix of meat/vegetable toppings. The crust itself is interesting. It kind of reminds me of a thin pretzel dough, with a slightly chewier texture. They are generous with the toppings, and I particularly enjoyed the sausage which had a slight sweetness to it. At about $12 for the appetizer and $26 for the large pizza, I felt the prices were fair and the service was attentive. I would come back again in the future.

Listen up, everyone! As a 100% Italian, I'm one of the few people here qualified to give this place…read morea proper review . People complain about it being too soggy, undercooked, or lacking toppings--absolute nonsense. This is a perfectly authentic Italian pizza. If you know good food, you know this is the kind of quality you usually only find in top-tier restaurants in major cities like LA or NY, or back in Italy itself. It is absolutely worth every penny. Sure, you can go to a chain and pay half the price, but you're just paying for unrisen dough, low-quality ingredients, and zero wood-fired aroma. To top it all off, our waitress was great and the pizzas came out incredibly fast, even with the place being packed. This is the real deal. And no, they didn't pay me for this review LOL

Husband had a pizza which he said was good just slightly soggy. Overall, pretty decent. Ambiance: Low key. A few too many rules and upcharges ($6 for any substitutions etc) on the menu for my taste. However, I respect any small business's decision to run their establishment the way they see best and fit for them. They are, at least, up front about it. Service: Hard to assess because it isn't traditional service style. You are given a table then handed plates and silverware. You go up front to order etc. Suggestions: I know I read somewhere that they haven't found a gluten free dough that's up to their standards ... but if they do I'd love to give it a go.
