    Blackberry Martini, biscuit

Best restaurant in town! Came here for dinner the other night and it was the best experience. Christine and the entire staff were so welcoming and made the night absolutely amazing. The blackberry martini was delicious refreshing and fit ever sweet tooth. Christine recommended to try the Roxy next time which is a white peach martini and I'm eager to come back to try. The food was AMAZING! We started with bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers which was the perfect heat with smooth tastes. The filet and ribeye were cooked to perfection and had so much flavor! Each side was even more perfect and delicious! We cannot wait to come back for more!

Ate here after attending the Masters Golf Tournament. The food here was amazing. Friendly staff and exceptional service. Would highly recommend this place. I had the scallops wrapped in prosciutto over a risotto. Next time I'm in SC I will be stopping by.

Christine's is the epitome of what southern hospitality looks like. This was my first time to Christine's and called ahead to make sure that they could accommodate my vegan diet. Christine and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and they provided me the best vegan meal I've had in SC. The non vegans all loved their meals and talked about how they plan to bring their friends. 10/10 recommendations

Beautiful and eclectic art adorn the walls of this cozy farm to table yumminess!

When you take a spontaneous trip to a small town you hope to discover something to make your trip memorable and THIS place... is exactly that. Christine's atmosphere reads more like an upscale but intimate NY eatery that the locals know about and wish the public didn't... Yet in this spot ALL the locals not only know about it -- they're super glad to have you come by. The owner (Christine) stopped by our table at least twice to check on us and chat about the history of her family (her youngest was preparing our dinner as she spoke)... and point out the celebrations of the folks who had come in... "That table over there is my brother and this one... that couple just got engaged..." And then..: the FOOD! Let's start with her "surprise." Normally at the time of year she preps apple butter but she had frozen her farm's strawberries and made the best selling strawberry butter for the fresh biscuits that are brought to the table right away. We then sampled the collard green dip with fresh pita chips and OMG I'll never settle for boring old artichoke dip again. Our entrees: grilled salmon and Korean beef were both absolute perfection. This was honestly such a delightful experience we would drive another several hours just to come back and enjoy all this small town Southern treasure had to offer! Thank you also to our lovely server, Katlyn, who was as super informed about the menu and specials as she was sweet and attentive.

I came across this gem while on a very short business trip. I felt very awkward coming in after a long day of travel because the restaurant itself is so beautiful and quaint I felt like I should have gotten gussied up to step inside. But I was wholeheartedly welcomed by the hostess and greeted by the friendliest staff I've ever come across. They didn't care about my rain soaked hair or my t-shirt and jeans and I felt grateful for that. The owner of this establishment, who I met while I was eating, came over to introduce herself and shared that she owns a local farm and highlights their crop in the menu that they serve. Because of this, and her culinary talents, the food is just outstanding. They start with a complimentary basket of biscuits and strawberry butter (made with strawberries from Christine's farm). I ordered the roasted beet salad and the fried green tomatoes. Everything was absolutely stunning and delicious. I also ordered a dessert cocktail and the bartender stepped over to talk to me about other ways she could enhance the drink for my taste, not because I asked, but because she was just excited about her creations. I have never eaten at a restaurant quite like this, so if you're a local, know that you have a true diamond in this little town. If you are a visitor, do not hesitate to have a meal here. If I could rate this spot 10 stars, I would!

Ok- art work and floors gorgeous. The dark ceiling with white linen is immaculate! Started with poppers- had a fabulous glaze on bacon! Crab cakes were light, perfectly seasoned and cooked with slight crunch, the corn salsa and sauce, were delightful!!! 3 cheese Cavatappi was perfectly cooked, mashed potatoes were delicious with cream, and butter, and they have this lovely basil cream corn, which is outstanding in every way, but I had the best fillet EVER. It was beefy, fork tender, had this rich flavor and texture, and the Demi glaze... PERFECT. The waitstaff is amazing, they make you feel special, Christine, made me feel like I was eating at her very classy dining room table with her delicate little biscuits and some amazing peach butter....The chef is professionally trained, and his talent is very much appreciated. This is the best restaurant I've had the pleasure of dining at in years. Maybe ever. Great job !! You are doing an epic job!! It was truly a pleasurable dining experience .

My partner and I ate here last Saturday. We drove the 35 minutes from Greenwood and it was worth the drive. Excellent food, attentive and warm service, and charming ambiance. Definitely recommend. One of the best dining experiences we have had in SC.

On Wednesday, we took a short drive to Edgefield to try Christine's Farm to Fork. Edgefield is such a cute town and Christine's restaurant was perfect. The ambiance was cozy, the service was great and the food was outstanding. We started out with the fried green tomatoes appetizer that was very tasty. For our entrees, I had the salmon special and my husband had the filet, 10 oz. I might add. They were both cooked perfectly and both delicious. The sides selected for the filet were the Mac & cheese and creamed spinach, which were plentiful and yummy. During our dinner, Christine actually stopped by our table and introduced herself and asked how things were. Such a nice touch! Would highly recommend as everything was just perfect. The only negative was the service charge for using a credit card. We will definitely be back!

Great experience. Our waitress was great, the owner stopped by the table and welcomed us, and the food was great. I had the snapper ( fish of the day) We also had Korean fried chicken which was delicious.

Tonight was our first night dining at Christine's. We were greeted as soon as we entered. The ambiance was just right! We made a reservation and didn't have to wait. The service was great and our waitress, very pleasant. We did not have to wait long for our appetizer, salad or entrees. The food was absolutely amazing. We were greeted by the owner who's very personable and I can tell passionate about her business and serving the community in more ways than one. My husband and I will definitely make the drive to return again soon.

That is not the same as knowing what they're doing. Plenty can make chicken hot. Fewer can make it memorable. Peggy's managed the rarer thing. This was the kind of fried chicken that makes a man quiet for a minute and reconsider whether he has properly valued his past blessings. They had other meats on the menu, and I do not doubt they were prepared by decent people with honest intentions, but ordering anything besides the fried chicken would have felt like showing up at a revival and asking for directions to a yoga class. And the sides, Lord help me, the sides were no afterthought. If I had not attended the funerals myself, I might have suspected my great grandma, grandma, and momma were back there in the kitchen, keeping an eye on the pots. Forgive me, Mammaw G, Mammaw, and Mom, but Peggy's had the better day with that chicken. I say that with love, respect, and a willingness to dodge a lightning bolt if one has been set aside for me. Fried okra, green beans, sweet potatoes, and mac and cheese, which any Southerner with good sense knows is a vegetable when it needs to be, spread across our plates like a family reunion of the righteous. The only medical advisory I'd offer is this: if your doctor has warned you against coating your insides with salt, you may want to admire from a respectful distance. And the sweet tea was right. Not tea-flavored water with ambition. Sweet tea. Properly made. The sort that lets you know nobody in the building is interested in modern nonsense. Next time I'm rolling down I-20, I may well make the turn toward Wrens again just to see whether Peggy's can do it twice. But judging by the regulars, the handshakes, the easy way the staff knew folks by name, and the fact they made us feel halfway local ourselves, I'd say this was no one-off. This felt less like a lucky meal and more like the kind of place that still believes doing something well is reason enough to keep doing it.

They recently got a new manager and chef who is making some very positive changes. Menu items have changed and the food quality has gotten better and better. They are expanding hours also so make sure you check on the times they are open. Also, there are times when the golf course is closed that results in The Grill closing also so I think it's a good idea to call them just to make sure they're open before traveling here. The kitchen is small, I'm told, which sometimes means the food takes a bit longer to come out but the prices are reasonable, the quality is good, and the staff are friendly. If you are a golfer, this is a great place to relax after playing a round on the beautiful Mount Vintage courses. Update: my wife, son, and I visited the Mount Vintage Grill last week after 9 holes of golf. It was around 4 PM when we sat down. Unfortunately, our son and I ordered a "dipping" sandwich off the "specials" blackboard which was supposed to come with an Au Jus dipping sauce. You probably know where I'm going with this but the sandwiches were delivered without the sauce. When asked about the sauce, we were told the chef hadn't mixed any up so there was none to be had! The sandwiches were sort of like Philly cheesesteaks and were OK by themselves but would have been much better with the sauce. Nicole, the server, didn't know there was no Au Jus made until we ordered our sandwiches. I like the Grill, and the new management is making good changes BUT this kind of event starts to turn you against any restaurant. Sorry, but don't advertise it if you don't have it. My wife and I will still go there because this is not the norm but I felt I would be negligent if I only reported on good things and ignored the substandard things.

I'm amazed that there aren't more people who DON'T live in the neighborhood who aren't taking advantage of the restaurant. I'm even more amazed there isn't more traffic since they got Chef Larry. Larry is very good. He's laconic and somewhat intimidating, but Chef Larry is a CHEF, and you'll enjoy what he and his staff bring out. Larry is a treasure, in other words. You need to try them, but you need to call in advance to make sure they are serving when you want to arrive. To the immediate north of Greenwood, SC, as you come in on US-72, about 10 miles from Greenwood's town center, there's nothing that compares to Bermuda's for dining, and on any side of Greenwood, the restaurant at Bermuda's should be a destination restaurant for those of you who've missed out on it. Perhaps it's because Stoney Point isn't near the hotels in Greenwood that there's not much traffic here. Bermuda's IS a restaurant at Stoney Point that's open to the public, you'll have to look for it, and it's on par (pun intended) with the best restaurants Greenwood has to offer. Hell, I don't play golf, and I like it here. I don't understand why there isn't more dining traffic at Bermuda's from locals, other than the fact you may not know if you can get in because of a party that's rented the place, or even what their hours are. The chef (and his staff) are some of the more creative in the Greenwood area, the service (even if you don't live here) is outstanding, and the dining area and bars are cozy and friendly. This place may be the most well-kept secret restaurant in Greenwood, and I'm not sure if they want to keep it secret. If they do, I apologize. The kitchen is always willing to get creative for my vegetarian requests, depending on what they have: for those of you who are carnivores, I'm told by colleagues and friends that the meat-based dishes are outstanding. Indeed, Bermuda's is the first choice for my company's business dinners and meetings, since most of those include people looking for a good meat. You SHOULD call them in advance before visiting: the restaurant is usually only open at certain times (typically, dinner on Friday and Saturday, and Thursday night happy hour; they usually have lunch Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday), and when the place is reserved for a party, wedding, reception, or whatever, there may not be dining service. As I mentioned, I live here, and I've walked up to the clubhouse several times only to find that I should have read my newsletter. As of this review, Bermuda's has been offering lunch on Saturday.
