Cheap, hot delicious. Good place for grabbing lunch or snack, service is quick and friendly. Doesn't look like much, don't let it fool you.

Best moist chicken I've ever had with the best sauces I'm not a ranch fan I truly hate it with a passion but they really know what they're doing because this was the first time in my whole 24 years of life that I liked it needless to say they chicken is never over cooked always hot and fresh and melts in your mouth! Definitely a hidden treasure. They have by far the best chicken fingers anywhere and they are huge. The sides are fries or fried okra. They also have Philly cheese steak sandwich, hot dog, corn dog and hamburgers. We have never been disappointed with our meal from there. read more

This place is hit or miss depending on what you order. The chicken is great but the popcorn shrimp was extremely disappointing and I was shocked they didn't have cocktail sauce. Also the lady who greeted us at the drive thru window had a terrible attitude as soon as we pulled up but maybe it was just a bad day. Stopped in for lunch this Saturday, place is very popular! Fast and friendly service; chicken was hot and crisp and tender. Coating was crispy and flaky, onion rings typical frozen variety but hot. Did not know about this place but the number of cars out front told me this was where I should have lunch. Not a fancy place, inside or out, but it's definitely worth stopping here. Great fried chicken! Tasty sides! Overheard others in line talking about how good the burgers are as well. There is no table service; you stand in line and order from the menu on the wall. You get your food from the friendly staff and then find a table. Prices are very reasonable. During my visit the line of customers dwindled to just a couple and then grew to nearly 15 in a matter of minutes. I was told, by locals, this place is always busy and I believe it. The last 3 times i've eaten there my food has been wrong. The night staff is lazy and rude. The night staff unhooks the phone so you can't call ahead. I've heard the night crew laugh about giving out wrong orders. However if you eat there at lunch when the owners are there the food and service are both good. read more

My wife and I have traveled through Johnston for many years and never noticed the restaurant. Last Saturday we were returning from Tennessee and and there it was. We made a trip from Graniteville SC to Johnston. It was worth it. Absolutely great fried chicken! This will be a once a week trip. Great atmosphere inside thanks to the employees.
