Chicken Pad Thai
Kylie A.

I've been craving some pad Thai since moving from Florida many many years ago and I've finally found my spot for it! It's a little hole in the wall location which makes for all the more excitement. You can order takeout or sit down. Sitting down is a quaint ambiance that is very peaceful. The staff is AMAZING! They are so kind and greet you with the biggest smile. We started our meal with the spring rolls which are served with a chili sauce which was delectable! My SO ordered the Thai fried rice and is was plenty of food and delicious. I ordered the chicken pad Thai and it was everything I've been wanting and more! You have the option to change the spice level which allows you to vary based on how spicy youre feeling. We will definitely make this place a frequent spot for dinner! Especially since now I want to try everything on the menu.

When it comes to local eats- this unassuming gem is in our top three. The staff are always friendly and happy to see us return. The wonton soup is light and flavorful, not saturated with sodium. It's one of our favorites. Another tasty appetizer option is the spring rolls which comes with five rolls and sweet chili sauce. For entrees, hubby's typical go-to is Thai Fried Rice with chicken. My go to is Paw Sie Ew with chicken or shrimp. We appreciate they are happy to adjust the spice level- even if you say no spice, which we often do because we are lightweights these days. The food is delicious and the dinner portions are so large that we always save half of the entree for another meal the next day. Even the lunch portions we have some leftovers. It's a low-key spot where you can get wonderful food at a reasonable price that is good for you. I also love how every time we never know what genre of music will be playing. It's enjoyable to look around and see the Thai culture on display in the decor as well. Sometimes we've googled the places on the posters and it made for interesting conversation while savoring our meal. The visual appeal is subtle and beautiful. We aim to support local restaurants over chains as much as possible and this one will always have our support!

We ordered takeout for the first time this week. Great restaurant, clean inside, very friendly! We had the yellow curry with chicken and Thai fried rice with chicken. Both were excellent!

I'm not sure how authentic it is but it matched my expectations of spicy Thai food. I ordered a small Tom yum soup and chicken drunken noodles. Both were ordered at Thai hit spice level and true to expectation they brought tears to my eyes. I'm definitely coming back for more. Btw- you can order the mild version too - they have 4 or 5 spice levels

I got takeout so I cannot comment on the ambiance or service, but the food was ok and it was ready when I got there.

It was quaint but small in size. I loved the art work and various attributes this restaurant had to offer. For food/drink: I decided on the drink "Sorry Ms Jackson". For food I ended up going with Crab Cakes and Jambalaya. I gave 4 stars because the day I went, they were out of everything I really wanted to try: Return of the Mac N Cheese, Land and Sea and Red Snapper. I will return again and hopefully next time I can try some of the dishes I really wanted.

It is located in downtown Augusta , so you're gonna be coming in contact with a bunch of traffic going to and from locations. Luckily for me, I went ahead and put my order through DoorDash, and I was able to get it.No problem, it's really the parking you gotta be concerned about. When I got there, there was hardly anyone there, so I was able to get my order and quickly leave before it got busy again. The food I ordered was amazing. The chicken and Red Velvet Waffles with cream cheese frosting were totally incredible. But I really enjoyed the cake trio. Of the three I bought, I loved the Tiramisu and Red Velvet, but the Lemon one wasn't as good. But that's the reason I'd like to try the dishes first before recommending family and friends to try. I made you not forget the ambiance here. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful compared to how the rest of downtown is. Overall I would recommend this restaurant. If you haven't tried it at least try it once. Just be sure to visit when it's not so packed so that way you can get a great table.

From the beginning he was quick to respond to all my endless questions regarding our wedding. We actually live in Asheville and wanted authentic paella so when I found out Hugo was from Spain I had to reach out to him and see if he was willing to cater our wedding. After trying his paella at soda city I knew he was the one. I made some very important decisions that day and I honestly feel I couldn't have done any better than spanish bite! We needed about 200 servings and he made it happen flawlessly! The seafood and the all you can meat were the stars of the show but the vegetarian had those animal lovers just as elated! I got compliments all night from how great it smelled to how cool it was to watch them make it to how awesome it was that they could get thirds!! THIRDS!!! Everything was delicious and very plentiful. We started with a number of tapas including gazpacho, serrano toast, skewers of manchega and tomatoes, and vinaigrette mussels. Having Hugo cater a Spanish feast was much more memorable than just a dinner out at a restaurant. Our meal was a huge highlight of the family weekend.

We ordered the dip and tried a few things there that were new to us. The dip is still as amazing as always and may actually be the same recipe as years ago. Other faves from the evening were the grilled shrimp (I found them a little salty, but my friend loved them), the eggplant fries (great dipping sauces, too), and the chocolate torte (not sure if it was made there but it tasted great). The sautéed Brussel sprouts were a little underdone to us and we felt they would have been a little better with more of a crispy sauté finish. The cocktails were exceptional, as was our service with Leah. They said something about having issues with the air in the upstairs area, and they had some box fans up there to help keep the air moving. In spite of that, the atmosphere was nice for conversation and not too crowded when we went (around 6 p.m. on a weekday). If you're like us and haven't been in there in a while, go back to support and visit one of Columbia's long-term, successful restaurants. Parking is great and easily available -- and no charge!
