Build your own and veggie pizza

The olive branch did not disappoint, as a matter of fact it exceeded my expectations. The pizza was 1000/10, the crust was spectacular, the cheese was delicious. The ambiance was very calm and welcoming, plus it was very clean. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. Prompt service, our pizza came out in less than 8 minutes.

Very great little spot in Greenwood. Mediterranean flare (Italian, Greece). Had the Penne Al Vodka with chicken. Came out piping hot and with a large buttered bread. It had a ton of flavor. The beer and wine is limited only my brands. They have all the staples for each category you need. Very friendly staff. Great little gem. The pizzas looked amazing. I was jealous I didn't order one as I saw others being delivered

Gyro Greek Salad

Good Mediterranean food and service. Stopped in for dinner. We decided to split a gyro Greek salad and Chicken calzone. The gyro in the salad was very flavorful. The calzone was huge and tasty as well.

We didn't even know this place existed. It's well hidden off the main road, but so worth the visit!! We were met with a very nice and informative waitress. The food was fabulous! It was flavorful the plates are loaded with food when they come out. The restaurant is clean and well laid out. The bathrooms are also super clean. We took home four additional plates and the food was fresh and delicious. They offer a drive thru for those of you who don't have time for a sit down dinner in a restaurant. Will definitely be back!!

Let me start with the server we had was very nice and super accommodating and honestly she deserves a better place to serve at because the food we had was a monstrosity. Call Gordon Ramsey because this was a kitchen nightmare. My fiancé and I agreed the best part of the meal was the wine we had. The garlic bread was hardly even cooked and slathered in butter not toasted in the slightest. We both ordered pasta and mine should have came with penne but we were told that it was too late for them to make penne at 7:30pm so I had to have spaghetti or fettuccine noodles with my penne all vodka with chicken. On top of that our pasta came out extremely watery and tasted worse than a jar sauce. The chicken was yellow in the most unappealing way. I took two bites and could not eat anything more. Definitely save yourself of the trouble and don't eat here. After we made them aware we were unhappy, the chef came out to say he could make it with penne and when we declined he shrugged us off like shit on his shoe. We were told we could come back for a free meal but there was zero voucher to indicate we were told this. Very very disappointed. DO BETTER.

We are visiting in Greenwood and stopped here because it's close to our hotel. We're so happy we stopped here. We got chicken shish kabobs, which were yummy! Very light and tasty. And our server, Caroline, was super friendly and helpful.

Had a nice meal here . You can tell The owner /chef has pride in his product . I Had the shrimp with rose' sauce. Table had calzones and lasagna and chicken parm as well. 8 jumbo shrimp in my pasta dish. Great flavor and a hint of spice. Not hot , but a little spicy. More than enough for food for 2 meals. Chicken parm Was a lighter version not heavily Breaded , but delicious. Garlic bread nothing to remark about. A sub roll toasted with some garlic butter . Kate was beautiful and lovely . Only constructive complaint is she left dirty plates in front of us for almost half hour. Her co-worker that night didn't seem to want to be there either. But 4 for sure. We would go back mostly for the food. Be advised they only serve soda. Tea and beer. No wine. You can bring your own for a $5 corking fee.

Never thought I would find a Mediterranean/ Italian restaurant in the middle of a small college town, but here is the Olive Branch. Hands down the best I've ever tasted. From the bread sticks to the Hummus everything was superb. Me and my family showed up at 6pm. Our waitress was extremely nice and attentive. We ordered cheesy bread sticks as an appetizer. Beef , Lasagna with meat sauce, Shrimp Fettuccine in Rose' sauce and a personal pizza for my youngest daughter. The beef was seasoned to perfection and a tender medium cooked steak. Greek Salas was fresh and great. The Lasagne was just outstanding as well as the Shrimp Fettuccine. Nothing about this meal could be complained about. From the service to the speed of the kitchen getting us our meals. We were done boxed up and paid the bill in less than a hour. And the price? For the portion sizes to feed 4 people and beverages the cost was under 90 dollars This will be our go to spot every time we come to visit my daughter in college.

Big difference they are run by Italians, this place isn't. I came in expecting great things, it has the right patina on it to be a good Italian joint. It came highly recommended by the staff of the Hampton Inn. It looked like it had been there for 30 years or more. Again, it was highly recommended and within walking distance , what could go wrong? It took them about 20 minutes to wait on me after I got seated. I should've left, I would've had a better meal somewhere else and wouldn't feel guilty about writing the this review. I gotta say, once they got started the food came out within moments. The toasted ravioli was a little on the loose side. Like maybe it should've been in the fryer a little longer. It was cheese ravioli with a sweet cheese inside it. I'm going to say the fryer was not hot enough to do the job. The breading was falling off. It was not crispy or crunchy. The shrimp carbonara was well-made, except it wasn't carbonara. Absolutely not a single piece of bacon. And it was a little bland. And I had to ask for cheese. Timing is everything. Literally, I was starting to eat my toasted ravioli and here comes the main dish, 3 minutes tops. There are no half portions of toasted ravioli. So be prepared to eat a bushel of toasted ravioli. Hint, hint, it's perfect for two people, maybe three in a pinch. I was just over it and ate the not-carbonara and, they tried really hard to make up for it. In the end, they did the only thing they could do, they heavily discounted the meal. I would definitely eat there again and even take my wife. I think that it wouldn't be a bad place to even have a group, they had a group in the next room and they were living it up. Sounded like they were having a great time. And maybe that's part of the problem, not enough staff for a busy night, maybe the kitchen was backed up? I don't know, I'd give them another shot, they have been there for a long time for a reason, and are obviously a popular spot I think I had a rare mediocre experience. The manager and the server were genuinely shocked at the level of ineptitude of the cook.

Meals are freshly prepared in view of the customers and the same day market staples experience only adds to the special atmosphere. Each menu item is prepared with love and attention so you get a better plated meal than could ever be represented on the menu. Vinnie does have a small staff so although you get special treatment, it might take a slight bit longer than normal but it is worth the wait. This is going to be long winded. Hang in there!…read more Absolutely the best meal I've had in several years and likely the best piece of fish I've ever eaten in my life!!!! I'll get back to that! Ok, so I'm in town all week installing a new CNC fiber laser cutting machine tool at Stoll Fireplace. I'm a foodie, but I nearly never write reviews. I almost didn't come to meet Danish and experience his food because of the two bad Yelp reviews. (In spite of all the great ones) I'd like to address those bad reviews before I make MY actual review. First, that review about people dressed casual? Bullshhh. Excuse my language. I'm covered (literally) head to toe in oil, grease, and grime. Wearing a dirty Moog synthesizer T shirt that says "presets are for the weak", torn up Carhartt pants, and steel toe work boots. I was apprehensive showing up like this. Worked too late to go to the hotel and shower/change, but was really craving Indian food. Saw the sign on the door mentioning attire and was slightly apprehensive about going in. Maybe it's because I haven't shaved in over a year, maybe it's because it's his place and he can do what he wants. My opinion is that this reviewer had something else going on other than their attire. Maybe already drinking, maybe just douchy? Who knows. It's irrelevant. My server seated me immediately and treated me no different than if I was wearing a $5000 suit. I can not for sure say you won't be denied service if you come in looking rough as hell, but bottom line is I got served looking like a coal miner that just got off work. And at the very end of their posted hours. Second, the lady that said her food was cold?? Again, hogwash. No doubt in my mind that this person obviously has not experienced the world outside of Greenwood SC and isn't accustomed to how other cultures communicate. Have a little humility in your verbal/body language and Danish will treat you like royalty!! I'm certain she got offended by his tone or something he said. I'll cover more of that in my review. So here it is: Clean upscale atmosphere. Smells like heaven when you walk in the door. (He grinds his own spices!!) Server greeted me immediately when I walked in and escorted me to a table. We discussed wines and I tried a new Cab that I haven't had that was delicious. Danish came to my table and asked my what kind of food I liked. This started a long conversation about samosas, world travel, and more, ending in Danish not letting me order extra Samosas since one came free with the meal. I'll admit I was initially a touch put off that he outright wouldn't let me order two extras, but I'm so glad he didn't. (He ended up giving me an extra one free! I've never had beef in Samosas, but holy cow are they good and a lot of food! I would have been full before my entree had he let me order two extras and eat 3. Ordered the special on the servers recommendation. Crispy flounder (or tilapia, I got flounder) with breaded and fried eggplant and chicken curry. (Beef curry option) Plus an order of garlic naan. I am not kidding when I say this is best meal I've had in years! I've eaten at a lot of nice places and have paid 3 times as much for dinners that didn't hold a candle to tonights. They give you a knife, but there was nothing in the meal that didn't give easily to the side of my fork. The beef Samosas were fried crunchy and served with an excellent chutney with a decent kick! They went very well together. Like a party in my mouth! I could have eaten three, but wouldn't have had room for all the other deliciousness!! (Thank you Danish for refusing to let me order 2 more as appetizers and for throwing a second one on my plate!) The fish was just right. Lightly breaded, flaky, and seriously flavorful!! Best piece of fish I think I've ever eaten in my life! I do not have words for how good that tasted. The eggplant was equally amazing. The sauce on the plate went perfectly with everything. I enjoyed every bite. The garlic naan was good, but the onion chutney that came with it was better than anything I've ever had at any other Indian place!! So full of flavor! The curry was great. Very traditional with a little less kick than some places. (Perfect for people that think most Indian food is too spicy) Danish is going to make it mildish/medium spicy unless you request otherwise. I could have taken it a lot hotter, but certainly understand trying to avoid having food sent back for being too spicy. I am eager to return now that he knows me and ask him to kick it up a few notches!! It was still delicious. Their rice is also very traditional but like the rest of his food, with a hint extra. Danish is beyond passionate about his food. As I said to him, it's an art form. He is an artist. If I lived closer, I'd probably eat here every week and invite him to my wedding. If you like good food, tuck in your ego for two seconds and come try some of the best food you've had in your life! A million stars
