My wife and I hired Helen as the first line of defense to realize our wedding dream. I report now,…read more4 weeks after the wedding it was INDEED realized, in no small part due to Helen's on-the-job-live-in-real-time work and decision making. I started working with her about 4 months before the wedding date. She helped plan through the phone calls, the needs, the fundamentals, the vendors, and the details. She is very detailed and organized, and sets the correct parameters to create a successful wedding. As with any large project, there was good discussion and of course heated debates. I found this to be helpful in that she wasn't a yes-man or a pushover, and worked diligently to turn our ideas into reality. Another thing that stood out to me was on the day of the wedding, she made some large, key adjustments that in retrospect may have saved the wedding. I won't go into too much detail but she flipped and revamped the layout of the space in real time to adjust to the vibe she was reading from the guests (carrying tables, setting up linens, moving flowers). This gave everyone a place to sit and watch our show and listen to the speeches comfortably, something we didn't know how to make work during the planning sessions. I thank Helen for her work and hope to host more events that could use her expertise! -Peter & Vicky (couple that hired Helen to plan a wedding on 11/25/22)

But with her help we were able to create one of the best days ever! Our wedding was at La Venta Inn in Palos Verdes; Helen had worked at the venue many times; our event went off without a single hitch; everything was absolutely perfect. Emphatic 5 stars from us.

We could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator than Chantelle Louise O'Callaghan. We feel…read moreso lucky to have found her. I interviewed 4 other "Day of" coordinators and none put me at ease so much as Chantelle. She is calm, reassuring, dedicated, and an absolute pro at what she does. Although she was our "Day of" coordinator, Chantelle checked in with me periodically months before the wedding was to take place and answered all of my questions and provided candid advice on vendors and etiquette. She attended our final meeting/walk through at our wedding venue to make sure that she and the venue knew precisely where we wanted our items to be placed, how the tables would be set up, when various events would take place, etc. She contacted all of our vendors, my maid of honor and the best man to introduce herself and make sure everyone understood their roles and responsibilities during the wedding. When my makeup artist dropped out 2 days before my wedding because she came down with pneumonia, Chantelle immediately contacted me to make sure I did not freak out. On the morning of my wedding, she called me to make sure the makeup artist was on time and called me afterwards as well to make sure I was satisfied with her services. Chantelle is a logistical whiz. She created a diagram of our ceremony showing where our guests would sit, our attendants would stand, our gifts would be placed, and the order in which the processional and recessional would take place. Ours was an interfaith wedding with many components, so the diagram was extremely helpful. When I arrived at the ceremony site it was exactly as we had planned. Every item in its proper place. During our rehearsal, Chantelle was patient and understanding when some of our guests were running late. She did not rush through the rehearsal. She brought copies of the diagram she created and made sure everyone understood exactly what they were to do, where they would stand and/or be seated and explained the different cues during the ceremony. She ran through this with us twice just to be sure I was comfortable. Chantelle also worked with us to create an extremely detailed time line making sure we had enough time for all the photographs we wanted, to do our first dance, to eat, make some table visitations, make toasts, do the hora, do the father/daughter mother/son dances, cut our cake and eat it too and do the money dance. Thanks to Chantelle, all of this was pulled off without a hitch. About a week before our wedding, Chantelle gave me a detailed supplies list indicating every item needed for our ceremony and reception and who was providing what. This made my life super easy when it came time to pack everything up to be transported to the site. Due to her meticulous list, not a single thing was missing on the day. Chantelle was on top of everything during the reception. When it was my maid of honor's turn to make her toast she gave her a 5 minute warning. When my maid of honor responded that she wasn't tipsy enough, yet, Chantelle came back to her table with a full glass of wine. What more could you ask for? I honestly do not know what I would have done without Chantelle. I enjoyed every moment of my wedding because I knew everything was in good hands. I cannot gush about Chantelle enough. She made our wedding a dream come true.

Month of coordinating: I'm super type A and incredibly organized and actually thought I wouldn't need a wedding coordinator or would only need a day of coordinator. I ended up going for month of bc they offered more services and thought, why not? But I am so glad that I did. I emailed and chatted via phone w Kayla and realized I was not as prepared as I thought I would be. Without her, I would've let things fall through the cracks like having an amazing day of schedule, decorations for the wedding, and just random stuff I wouldn't have thought of. I highly recommend hiring her. It's worth it for the peace of mind. Coordinating w vendors: this is when I knew Kayla was just awesome and fabulous. Not only was I personally impressed by her communication and diligence, but my vendors (like The London Hotel in West Hollywood venue, RTG photography and my florist Ben's Flowers) would send me emails complimenting my choice of coordinator and how on top of everything she was. I feel very lucky to have had her as my coordinator. Day of: again, I'm super type A but Kayla and her team got my vision down to perfection. I literally had ZERO worries on the day of the wedding bc everything went according to schedule, music was perfectly on queue, decorations were perfectly set, Kayla took care of all the cleaning and walk through w my venue, and she assured me that everything was going to schedule and plan and it did. Also, bc my family is Armenian, the fact that she was able to remember all their difficult Armenian names and communicate with them helped when it came time for pictures. There's a lot more I can say, but I'll end there. We thought the services amazing and the team incredibly competent for such a competitive price. I shopped around for a lot of coordinators, but this was the most reasonably priced for the most amount of services wo any pressure. I highly recommend!
