My mom passed away a few years ago and I was afraid to plan a wedding on my own, but Courtney became more than a planner she became my friend. She made every decision feel manageable and always made us feel confident that everything was under control. On our wedding day, I never once felt stressed or overwhelmed. Every detail was executed flawlessly, and I was able to be completely present for every special moment instead of worrying about logistics. Seeing everything come together so beautifully was beyond anything we could have imagined, and that was all thanks to Courtney's incredible work behind the scenes. I also want to mention our DJ Brian (who we were able to hire alongside Courtney in a contract together). He also deserves all the praises - there was not one moment where the dance floor wasn't filled and he was SUCH a talented DJ. The online program he used to help compile our song requests was so easy to use and he was so engaging the entire time with our guests. Thank you Brian! She'd take multiple calls to walk through logistics, prepped me for scenarios I hadn't thought of, and took the lead on coordinating with all my vendors. Her experience with the Southern California area really shown through because she had insight to which vendors would meet my needs and which of my ideas would thrive. Organization: Insane. Not a single thing went wrong during my wedding. The vendors only had 2 hours to move everything in and one hour to remove everything and it went seamlessly. I mean we had 230+ guests and no one had to wait for the buffet line for more than 20 min! Everyone who was a part of the wedding knew exactly where they needed to be and we stayed on schedule. Look. I am a #covidmob (mother of the bride) who put together a wedding in four weeks, and was referred to Danielle at the end of week three. She met with the bride and me, made suggestions and was hired that day! Background: We hosted 10 guests, for a total of 14 people, in a backyard ceremony and dinner, with a reception for another two dozen people on our front lawn in between the two. Social distancing was maintained and there were three parts to our daughter's special day. Danielle not only shared her vast wedding experience, but stepped into the catering role by assembling, plating, and serving food prepared by the catering company. What I thought would be good food served at room temperature (with me spending much of my time in my kitchen), became a four course meal, with the entree served hot! Throughout the afternoon/evening, Danielle asked my daughter if there was anything she needed, and made her feel like the bride she was!!! Getting my husband to take a shower, and keep everyone on time, made her worth her weight in gold!!! Do NOT think you can't host a very special wedding in your backyard, but by hiring Steadfast Events, YOU will also enjoy a wonderful day. We were completely comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our wedding. She even asked questions we had not thought of (e.g., cards for those taking photos with us). I forgot my garter and she went and brought ribbon to make one. What a gem! Our families noticed her hard work and ask for her information and we quickly provided them with that. My husband and I had planned most of the wedding and we were looking for someone that could help us in the week leading up to the wedding and on the day of. I found Kelly through Craigslist and her price was really affordable. Given that we had a large wedding, Kelly also brought on two wedding assistants to help with the multiple events on the wedding day. From the moment I spoke with Kelly on the phone, I really appreciated her professionalism, attention to detail and her down to earth personality. After explaining the details our wedding, I was pretty confident she could do the job. Leading up to the wedding we met and finalized the details with her. She coordinated our wedding rehearsal and we gave her all the DIY decor, candy and other supplies for her to set up the day of the wedding. It was nice to know I didn't have to worry about decorating and little details like that the day of the wedding! On the day of the wedding, Kelly took the lead to setting up the venue and one of her assistants helped us with the setup and breakdown of our Chinese tea ceremony. The wedding venue and the decor at the reception looked beautiful when I saw it. Kelly did an amazing job of setting up. For the ceremony and the reception, I was confident that things were being taken care of. Kelly would come by and offer us anything that we needed and I appreciated how she helped packed everything up after the wedding was over so it was easy to take home. It was all very seamless. Looking back, if I had to comment on areas of improvement, I would say I wish Kelly had reminded me of things I probably forgotten to think about. For example, we had forgotten to give her our gift card and envelope box for the registration table (my parents had it in the back of their car) and guests were confused about where to leave the cards. I didn't realize it was missing till after the wedding and I thought that would be one forgotten detail that would have been pretty noticeable. Also during the reception, when some issues did occur, there were times where we couldn't find the wedding assistants or Kelly. Given that it was a big wedding, I understand they could have been monitoring everything behind the scenes, but we hoped that we could have had more access to them. Even with these minor issues, all in all the event ran successfully! Our wedding day was perfect enough for us. As soon as my fiancé and I got engaged we established we wanted to prioritize paying for a full planning package with a wedding planner given our busy schedules. It was the absolute best decision we made going into a year of wedding planning. From our first meeting with Chabeli, she was super in tune with our desire to properly scale our wedding for a smaller event, somewhere around 50 guests, and to stay as close to our budget as possible. Her diverse vendor list helped us stick to one of our other priorities, to hire as many minority-owned small businesses as possible. When a dire family medical emergency came up just six months before our wedding date, when we expected to go in deep on wedding planning, Chabeli was super encouraging that she wouldn't bother us until we absolutely needed to make decisions, which allowed us to continue tending to our family needs full time.
