We loved working with Bright Blue Events! Carole and her team were absolutely amazing! We were planning our Los Angeles wedding from Atlanta and Carole was always prompt with her email responses and her vendor recommendations saved us so much time. I was expecting the weeks before our wedding to be stressful due to some last minute changes, but Carole and her team seamlessly coordinated with all of our vendors and everything turned out perfectly. I also really appreciated having Mari as the day-of coordinator. She was kind, professional, and calm the whole day. It is hard to know where to begin with Carole and her amazing team - since our first conversation in early 2020 she was reassuring and made me feel comfortable with the vision and budget of our wedding, never pressuring one way or another. She is both a good listener and communicator, and replies to emails more promptly than I could have ever hoped. It was thanks to her and her team (Mina on the day of my wedding) that I was fully able to relax and be in the moment. Bright Blue Events was the vendor that was the most worth it in my opinion and went above and beyond my expectations. Most of all, Carole saw us through the COVID pandemic and a change in venue with the most comfort and grace. She was reliable and understanding through a very difficult year for us on many levels, and continued to provide support, without complaint or changing fees, for a year longer than any of us had thought when we first signed our contract. If not for her suggestions and input, I would have not had the wedding of my dreams, including handling the small hurdles that we had prior to and on the day itself. Our wedding day itself included a once-in-a-decade thunderstorm in LA in October, yet she was able to make the right call and graciously pivot the reception indoors as needed. Plus, we had so many amazing vendors thanks to her recommendations. Carole and her team are nothing short of spectacular. We hired them about 18 months before our wedding in peak Covid times and they were there for us through the entire process from recommendations, to meetings, to styling advice, there was so much attention to detail we knew the team at Bright Blue Events truly cared about helping us have the most special day. Despite our best efforts and extensive planning, the week of our wedding we had a few Covid related hiccups but Carole took everything we were dealt with grace and made us feel so at ease. Our wedding day was great and it would not have been the same without Bright Blue Events, especially Carole, Michelle, Mina, and the other day of assistant. We are forever grateful for all their care, work, and energy!

This is about to be a long review because I truly cannot say enough good things about Bright Blue Events and how above and beyond Carole and her team worked on every single minute detail. Carole and her team were our month of planners with event design and vendor management help. Not only did Carole go truly above and beyond to help us postpone during COVID and help coordinate postponing our dates and contracts with every single vendor, but she was also consistently available for questions, thoughts, and ideas. My husband and my family love you and your team Carole and thank you again for sticking by our side during COVID postponement of a year at no extra cost or hoops to jump through and making our event even more than our dreams could have imagined. If it weren't for Carole, we would not have had the amazing wedding and memories that we did. I don't think there was one time she didn't answer one of my questions within 24 hours. She was so communicative, direct, and organized. Carole is a GET IT DONE kind of planner and she goes above and beyond with care and detail. Throughout our whole planning process she was constantly available and worked seamlessly with our venue and other vendors. Weekend of, Carole truly went above and beyond again, and so did her team. From constant direction of navigating the rehearsal, scheduling the timeline to a tee (and keeping us on time), working with and successfully directing a crazy and all over the place bridal team and family members, to ensuring that my sister and matron of honor who last minute couldn't make it weekend of, was even included in the ceremony while having her on facetime virtually throughout the whole thing (carrying around an ipad with my sister on facetime). Carole's team constantly checked on me and my bridal party and family members and always made sure that we were okay and ran around the whole venue in 100 degree weather with masks on all night ensuring that everyone had what they needed and things were running smoothly. Her team truly made sure that things went flawlessly and had such a care and detail into every action they took. Flawless, seamless, and extremely efficient attention to detail and event execution. Would hire her on the spot again for any future event and cannot recommend her enough. Truly worth every single penny for the "Make it Fabulous" Package. We are so grateful for everything Carole did for us.

Carole and her all star team at Bright Blue coordinated our wedding in July 2019. We got the full service package with two additional events on top of the wedding, which we used on a rehearsal dinner and the after partay. Everything was incredible -- from the caterers to the florists to the DJ to the luxury portable toilets and especially to the wedding venue itself (the amazing Adamson House in Malibu). We planned an LA wedding remotely from not one but two different locations (East Coast and Midwest) but Carole made coordination seamless, from FaceTime conference calls to the multiple Excel spreadsheets we sent back and forth. We started working with them about a year ahead of our wedding date and the level of care that they showed us from beginning to end was consistent and exemplary. Their working style is perfect for any couple looking to plan their own wedding while balancing the usual work/life/play considerations: they were always proactive but never pushy; deferential to our preferences but never allowing us to make a misguided decision; and positive but never unrealistic. You won't find a more patient, calm, and organized planner than Carole. Adamson House was literally the last venue we visited on our itinerary of potential wedding locations, and Carole patiently endured us shooting down option after option until we arrived at our perfect location. Furthermore, there were apparently a few minor hiccups the day of the wedding (as there will be at any wedding), but we did not hear about them at all until very much later through our friends, because Carole and her team took care of business. That's the sign of perfect wedding planning!

When they were all put together, it looked BEAUTIFUL. There's no doubt they use good quality items. BUT here is what to beware of - Hidden Fees & Last Minute Fees with no explanation. When asked for a price breakdown for added fees, they cannot provide that. Additionally, they need to improve at making sure everyone on the team is well versed on the prices and accurately charges for items to ensure that you get what you think you're paying for. Also, beware of the possible inconvenience of being asked to drive a floral vase to their base location in Duarte 2 days before your wedding, despite having been asked a month prior if they needed anything extra from you. Also, beware of late delivery, as we had florals delivered after the start of our event. I will say that Luz did issue us a refund for missing items, which is appreciated, but just be aware of these things. The production is good, but the customer service needs work.

I really needed a break from Paper Source because you see, words are my primary love language and I like to gift cards as much as I can. I wish that their hours were more consistent because I always feel like I'm settling when I give my business to Paper Source. Although, I have nothing horrible to say about Paper Source, it's always been a good experience for me upstairs but sometimes you just need to spice up your greeting card horizon and that selection makes me happy. Daisy was incredibly friendly and we chatted a lot. I had to wrap it up because my food I picked up was getting cold but she was really helpful and so was the owner which I forgot her name (sorry owner), that I encountered in the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. I have always had a much better experience with customer service in this store than Paper Source but really hope they improve with their hours. Paper Source keeps getting my business this year but thankful Bring Something To The Party is still around!

We had a family celebration here a couple of weeks ago; and let me tell you the owner and manager are extremely unprofessional. They gave my brother one price which he paid in full; but once at the venue they started extra charging for everything they could think of. They were so nice and friendly when you first do the contract with them and once you start questioning why the extra charges they act so rude at the moment of the party with guests in there, so annoying and stressful. Now the lovely (NOT!) security guards were so rude to our guests they started kicking them out even when they were trying to help my family to pick up our left over stuff to leave this place faster. These security people were treating our guests like immates. They're obviously in the wrong job area but I guess they were following their bosses' unethical ways. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and I regret choosing it in the first place. Please don't add uneccesary stress to a day you're supposed to have fun and enjoy with family and friends.
