I met with/spoke to a few wedding planners/coordinators before ultimately making my decision to go with Lisa/Loveit Events as our wedding planner- and it was probably the best wedding decisions I made. First of all, some of the other coordinators I spoke to really turned me off for a number of reasons (trying to get me to increase my total wedding budget, showing off about themselves, saying that if I chose a certain performer they wouldn't work with him). But enough about that let's get to Lisa. I was referred to her through my wonderful wedding dress designer, R-Mine bridal- and from the first time I spoke to her I knew that she was the one to go with. The fun started from our first meeting- she took away all of the stress and anxiety and showed me how fun the whole process would be. Right after the first meeting, she emailed exactly what we needed to accomplish, step by step. Every single vendor she helped me pick was AMAZING. She negotiates like no other with the vendors and got me the best deals- very great relationship with basically everyone in the wedding industry. She helped me with things I would never have even thought to do. My wedding was perfect- from the design and layout, to the seamless timeline of it all. Most importantly, Lisa and her team ensured that my husband and I, along with our parents and close family- actually enjoyed the wedding. We didn't stress one bit during the day, we didn't have to think about anything except enjoying our special day and having a blast with our guests. All in all, my husband and I both fell in love with Lisa- she made the planning process fun, helped me create my dream wedding, and made sure we got to enjoy every minute of it. Wow! Where do I begin? I decided to hire a coordinator for my daughters birthday party since I was out of state at the time. I interviewed and spoke with many other coordinators in LA and really loved Lisa right from the first phone call. She was very easy to talk to, took the time to really get to know what I wanted for the even and she delivered with a bang! My husband and I flew in on late Friday for our big party on Saturday and needless to say she had blown us and our guests away! We didn't end up going with Lisa as our wedding coordinator, but it was a tough decision not to go with her. She was extremely helpful, professional and from the few initial phone calls we had, I could tell that she was on top of everything. I really appreciated her wanting to help vs just wanting to talk budgets (which we experienced with some of our other coordinator candidates) and we really appreciated her "no hassle" approach. When my wife told me at the beginning of the wedding planning that she is considering a wedding planner I was questioning whether its something that we really need. once we met with Lisa I realized that there will be many things that someone will need to make sure they go smoothly. I spoke with a couple wedding coordinators before I heard about Lisa. I decided to contact our wedding venue for any recommendations and they immediately told me about Lisa. Lisa is THE ABSOLUTE BEST WEDDING PLANNER EVER!! She is super sweet, very professional, incredibly responsive and just all around awesome.
