If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We booked this venue for my wedding under previous ownership and were never told it would be sold. That alone set the tone for everything that followed. We tried to move forward in good faith, but dealing with the current management--specifically Siran--was one of the worst experiences I've had in any professional setting. From day one, it was constant disorganization, poor communication, and an attitude that made us feel like we were a burden for simply planning our own wedding. We showed up for a scheduled visit with family and were left standing there because no one was there to receive us. No direction, no coordination--just nothing. Meanwhile, there was active construction going on, which we were never warned about. We were also told early on that the LED screens could be covered if we didn't want them. Later, Siran flat-out denied ever saying this and spoke to us as if we were making it up. Multiple people heard the same thing, so being treated like we were lying was beyond unprofessional. And that became a pattern. At one point, I messaged about making an additional payment. Not only did Siran never respond, but when I followed up, she told me I was lying about ever sending the message. I then sent her screenshots proving that I did, in fact, text her--and instead of apologizing, she just moved on like nothing happened. No acknowledgment, no accountability. Just completely brushed off. So not only did she not respond, she didn't even read my message fully. When we mentioned we had arranged chair rentals, her response was confrontational and inappropriate--asking what she was supposed to do with "her chairs," as if we had somehow wronged her by making a decision for our own wedding. Basic questions--like vendor arrival times--were met with vague answers or hesitation. We wanted better alcohol than the one the venue provides, so I asked Siran if she could send me an updated contract reflecting the prices. She did not respond and later told me that I was changing things too much. And even with our wedding a month away, we STILL never received an updated contract outlining finalized details like alcohol, pricing, or staffing. Let that sink in. Communication overall was terrible. Messages ignored, questions dodged, and when we asked for something as standard as an email address, we were met with attitude and questioned why we even needed it. In 2026, that's honestly absurd. After all of this, we checked reviews since the ownership change and realized this isn't a one-off situation. The same complaints come up again and again--disorganization, poor communication, and unprofessional behavior. Unfortunately, we experienced all of it firsthand. Planning a wedding is stressful enough. This venue made it genuinely miserable. We ultimately cancelled because we had zero trust in their ability to execute anything properly. If you value your time, money, and sanity, do not book here. read more

We were supposed to have our wedding at Stars on Brand and ultimately had to walk away after an extremely frustrating and concerning experience. We originally signed our contract under the previous ownership and paid a deposit at that time, with no disclosure whatsoever that the business would be sold. After finding this out, we still chose to move forward in good faith with the new team. Unfortunately, that effort was not matched. From the beginning, there were serious issues with communication and professionalism. When we visited the venue with family, there was no one there to receive us, and we were never informed that there was active construction taking place. That alone set the tone. We were also clearly told that the LED screens could be covered if we chose not to use them. Later on, this was completely denied, and we were made to feel as though we were being dishonest for even bringing it up--even though multiple family members remember that exact conversation. At a later meeting, when we informed them that we had arranged chair rentals, we were met with frustration and questioned as if we had done something wrong, instead of working with us. This kind of unprofessional and uncomfortable interaction became a pattern throughout the process. Simple and important questions were difficult to get clear answers to. Even basic logistics like vendor setup timing were unclear. Communication overall was extremely inconsistent, with messages going unanswered--including a direct inquiry about where to send an additional payment when we were ready to move forward. Most concerning of all, with the wedding only a month away, we still had not received an updated contract reflecting agreed-upon details like alcohol selections, pricing, and staffing. That level of disorganization so close to an event like this is unacceptable. On top of that, when we asked for an email address to communicate more efficiently, we were met with a dismissive response questioning why we would even need it, which only reinforced the lack of professionalism. After reading other recent reviews, it became clear that our experience was not unique. Many of the same concerns--poor communication, lack of organization, and unprofessional behavior--are being reported by others as well. At the end of the day, this is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and we could not risk it being handled this way. We made the decision to walk away. What is especially concerning is that despite the fact that our $5,000 deposit was paid under the previous ownership--and despite all of the issues outlined above--the new ownership is now refusing to return it. This is completely unreasonable and not right in any sense. We paid for a service that has not been provided, and under these circumstances, withholding that deposit is unacceptable. We are actively pursuing resolution and expect this to be handled appropriately. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Stars on Brand. We had my bridal shower here on August 3, 2025 and it was literally EPIC. Everything from the planning and booking process all the way to the day of event was perfect and easy. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, the entrance is grand, the decor is perfection, the service is amazing, the food is absolutely delicious. Every appetizer, every salad and every dish was 10/10 and every one of my guests commented on that specifically. Everything was perfect, but above all I can't leave a review and not mention how wonderful it was working with Sam. From the first meeting with him he walked us through everything we need, pointed us in the right direction all the way through, he was very patient and pays attention to every single detail. Several times throughout the event he came and made sure everything was going according to plan and that everything was executed properly. He puts as much heart into every event held here as if it's his own celebration and that is so rare but we appreciate it more than we can ever put into words. If you're looking to book an event, look no further because you found your perfect venue. Stars on Brand is a 10000000/10 establishment. My fiance and I were interested in booking this venue for our wedding reception and had a horrible experience. We booked a tour for the venue and when we showed up there was only one employee there which we had a language barrier with. He then called the lady that I had made my appt with. She texted me a pamphlet regarding their packages and was trying to go over it with me via telephone. We asked if someone was going to come in person to give us a tour and show us the different amenities the venue has to offer and she said she will only come if we are serious about booking the venue. We could have gone over prices via telephone at home. She was very unprofessional and rude. Our friends used this venue for their wedding less than a year ago and told us they had a great experience and that the brothers they worked with were so helpful. We later found out that the venue is under new ownership which makes total sense as to why our experience was the exact opposite. From Tears to happiness that's just the way it had to be. This would be my first Persian/ Armenian wedding ! So, of course the perfect setting is Glendale. Perfectly set up wedding venue . My pet peeve about weddings is that there's usually so much walking / dancing ! You always have new shoes on so you end up barefoot \sore feet at the end of the night. This place looks like it was originally a movie theater. Perfect amount of steps so that your feet are able to cut some rug. I didn't take off my shoes once. As a fact, since I got in this location, I only made 4,289 steps and that's including dancing. Lobby ,upstairs VIP, huge high ceilings , Beautiful kitchen ,bar, Megatron screens and even had a little bit of indoor Fireworks ! $18 valet parking which is pretty reasonable. My absolute favorite part was the sword dance. Very cool tradition. The surprise of the night was being forced to participate in the single lady catching of the bouquet. My friend told me to go in there and don't come back without it ! To my surprise, I ended up walking away with the bouquet. Originally another girl caught it, but she dropped it, and it landed right in my hands. My friends were very happy. You're getting married they all started screaming!! Definitely a funny moment. The appetizers were very unique compared to any other venue. Kabob rolls, crab salad, tuna sashimi and ceviche were out of this world. Over 14 different salad options available. The chef cooks with love and is noticeable when enjoying her delicious creations. Servers are respectable and quick never kept any guests waiting for refills or any requests left unattended. We just had our wedding at this venue and we are so happy we picked Stars on Brand. The venue itself is beautiful and we loved that they allow you to really personalize it with the screens in the hall. They do family style dinners so there is always food on the table and the food is delicious! We were given a large menu to pick from and we loved everything on it. They have a large stage where our DJ set up as well as the band that played. We had our photo booth set up in the foyer and Stars was nice about allowing them to move things around to set up for our guests to enjoy taking pictures. They worked with us and our schedule the day of. We did a cocktail hour with Hors D'oeuvres and drinks. We worked with Hayk and Sarmen throughout the process. Warning . Nothing good to say. Attended a concert and it was so crowded it was dangerous. Never saw a fire marshal or Glendale Police. The tables were so close that staff could not walk down the isles. Food was so over priced and a bottle of water is $5. Service was horrible. The sound system did not work well. Also if you don't like smoking while you are trying to eat food this is not the place to go as they don't enforce the Glendale clean air law and Security is Glendale Police or so they claim. Beware please. I called the day before to make sure it was a smoke free venue because of my asthma. They claimed they did not allow smoking. But when asked Security they said they can smoke cigarettes but nothing else. People vaping and smoking all night. read more
